Roll a Twelve: Graveyard Field:In this particular field selection, the stadium ceiling is shut tight, covering the entire inner area of the stadium in a veil of pure darkness. The ordinary dirt field is swapped out for a field full of grave stones scattered across the lifeless soil. Near the northern end of the battle field, a single withered tree stands hunched over as though in constant mourning of those who rest for eternity here. A dense fog weaves in and out of the headstones and hinders vision. The fog itself seems damp and heavy, like the tears of the living mourning for the lost. This field gives a 25 HP attack boost to GHOST and DARK type attacks.

Cadence entered the stadium and spied her opponent on the far end. It appeared they were to be battling on the graveyard field and she really didn't mind much, it shouldn't affect Ayirwen at all, at least, not any more than any other land based field did. Reaching for the ball at her waist she pressed the button and tossed it releasing the dewgong onto the field. "Ayirwen, lets see how well we work together shall we?"

Seeing that it was her move Cadence quickly ran through Ayirwen's moves in her mind. Nothing that would be super effective against a caterpie, but definitely stuff that should put some hurt on the little bug. "Ayirwen start this off with an Aurora Beam."
The dewgong bobbed her head and aimed her horn towards the little caterpie at the far end of the field, a dazzling ray of rainbow came from the horn and headed across the field. With any luck it would get there before the caterpie could dodge it.

The blood lurched up, deflecting the iridescent beam. The caterpie sent a bolt of electrified webbing at the dewgong.

Cadence almost face-palmed when the attack missed, she and Ayirwen still didn't have a very good connection, but that was to be expected when she had only recently acquired the pokemon from her departed friend. As it was she settled for a frown and watched as Ayirwen did her best to dodge the webbing. She managed to slide off to the right, missing most of it, though it did get caught on her tail and give her a shock.
"Ayirwen, try using Aqua Jet!"
The dewgong shook off the effects of the shock and turned to face her opponent again. Sliding closer to the creepy blood covered caterpie she unleashed a stream of water that would hopefully send it flying.

Sheoldred was blown back from the water pressure, and the blood moved her out of the way. She sent another bolt of webbing at the dewgong.

Seeing that the attack had done a good job Cadence was a bit more relaxed. It didn't last long however as she saw the bug let off more electrified webbing that ended up catching Ayirwen and shocking her some more. Cadence called out to her dewgong "Ayirwen, try Aurora Beam again."
The dewgong wasn't sure it was the best idea for the moment but she would not disobey her new trainer. Aiming for the caterpie she unleashed another aurora beam.

Ayirwen had suspected the caterpie would keep with it's pattern. As such she was more prepared to dodge when the webbing came towards here. Luckily there was a conveniently placed headstone that caught the webbing before it could reach her.
Sliding her way back out into the open she unleashed an Aqua Jet attack.
