I was watching the oscars last night, and when they go to a commercial the orchestra plays little bits of music. Well right in the middle they were going to a commercial and I swear to God they were playing Music of the Night! Did anybody else hear it?

Hmn... didn't notice... and I was watching out of guilt for not watching last year when PotO had some noms! I think... cinematography... best original song... and.... um... I wanna say art direction? Not sure... lost all of them... but hey it was nominated! It should have won cinematography *cries*

BakaTulip Hmn... didn't notice... and I was watching out of guilt for not watching last year when PotO had some noms! I think... cinematography... best original song... and.... um... I wanna say art direction? Not sure... lost all of them... but hey it was nominated! It should have won cinematography *cries* TULIP. -tackle- ... I don't know, I didn't watch. So I wasn't imagining things! *Sigh* Alas, Corpse Bride and Howl's Moving Castle both lost out this year (I only really watch it for the best animated picture and the like anymore. The little oscars are much less predictable)

And the Motorcycle diaries did not deserve best original song... and from what I've seen of Aviator PotO was better. Grrr.

I didn't hear Music of the Night, but I thought I heard a snippet of "Out There" from the Hunchback of Notre Dame. Did anybody hear that one? eek

JESUS CHRIST I KNOW.
They were nominated for a bunch o' stuff. I think it only won one though - wasn't that best leading actress, Emmy Rossum? Who knows. And, I thought it did win best original song? I didn't watch them last year, ugh. x.x; I just read from websites and stuff; probably got wrong information. The costumes did deserve better, and should've been given something for that.
And yes. I heard MotN. <3 Me and my dad were like 'Phantom music!' right at once.
