Topic of the week for 1/27
As I'm sure you all know, it's come out the Danica Patrick and Ricky Stenhouse Jr. are dating. They are also both contenders for Sprint Cup Rookie of the year. What do you guys think? Is this a great storyline for 2013, or a disaster waiting to happen?

This has the potential to be both a great storyline and a disaster... on one hand this year's rookie of the year contest will finally once again be interesting... We have 3 candidates with the 2 love birds and the wild card Timmy Hill (but lets face it...the poor lad doesnt stand a chance in Fas Lane equipment)... However this battle of the rookie sexes can fall apart easily when reporters start to ask the question if Ricky had a part in speeding up Danica's previous marriage where the ink hasnt even finish drying off from the divorce papers...On top of that..if something happens between them midway...it can cause even more issues. Either way...Nascar wins... cause publicity over the rookie of year hasnt been this big since 09. However I still foresee a clear winner this year with Ricky being the only one with actually proven talent.

I think its a disaster waiting to happen. Sometimes dating the competition is not the best of ideas. But honestly when the news came out about her and Ricky I knew from the get go that's what ended her marriage. I am interested to see how this will turn out because when the points battle for ROTY come down to the wire, I'm sure the dynamic of their relationship will change

How can anyone not be jealous of these two? When they go out and meet people, and people ask them what they drive, Ricky is all like, "I drive a 900 horsepower piece of gas, rubber, and steel. So does my girlfriend." and Danica just nods in agreement. Can you imagine what it must be like?
Ricky - "Hey honey, I'm going to the store to pick up some milk."
Danica - "Not if I get there first!"
Next thing you know the police have been dispatched for two NASCAR racecars tearing a strip off a back road, and when they realize what's going on they're like, "******** this. We can't catch either car." and go back to their homes to wish they drove police NASCARs.
