The snow was coming down hard this day, harder than it had been in a long time. It was a joyous time, yet also a time of caution. Winters were hard when snow storms happened, but it was a beautiful thing. Urza found himself going for a walk to collect his thoughts in the snow. It calmed him, and kept him sane. Sometimes he wondered what he'd do without the snow now that he was here with it.

He couldn't remember how it was without snow. Perhaps it was how the goddess of winter wanted it? Not that it mattered. Since that moment he met her and she blessed him with this land, he had found nothing but peace, and that was what he wished for.

His thoughts were else where, so he didn't notice that the snow was getting deeper, and it was getting colder. He also didn't know that the mountain he was walking next to had snow that was slowly creeping down. It was only a matter of time before something were to happen. Urza was normally cautious, but nothing had ever happened to make him think there was more danger than normal. As well as the fact that his mind was upon things that kept creeping up.

Small cracking sounds were left unnoticed from the mountain. If one were to look, they'd know that something was a bit off, as disable cracks where also there, even in the fading sun and thick falling snow. Urza's eyes weren't to the mountain however.
