Timeline: Season 4/5
Plot: Starting at theend of the fourth Season, A new line of Senshi are called forth to prevent a great evil from being released into the world. Sailor Peridot, a senshi older than she appears, has been waiting for the right time to seek out and activate the rest of the Gemstone Senshi. As she does, however, A new villian is waiting for the right time to release a familliar adversary.

A young girl in a raggy pair of jeans and an old red leather coat sat on the park bench. In her hands was an old faded, used math book. She sighed and turned her eyes away from the pages, looking at the horizon as the sun set behind it. She closed her book, and enjoyed the sight for a moment. "Oh well..time to head back.."
As she walked toward the student housing facilities, she took her time, stopping to admire other people. They had such nice things. Finally reaching her building, she opened the door and headed upstairs. A girl greeted her, only half paying attention. Ruby smiled before collapsing onto her bed, sighing again.

From a shadowed alleyway green eyes peered out at the red head, watching her walk toward the children's shelter. In a flash she jumped to the roof top and slipped into the deserted bedroom, Ruby's room.
She only had a moment, the girl would be here very soon but it had to be now. Tonight was the night. Removing a necklace from the pouch on her belt she placed it on the off-white pillow, staring down at it as the dim lights of the room reflected the red gem.
Nora had been excitedly waiting for this moment for years, finally after being a solo warrior with one quest she was able to begin her mission. Though with this event finally coming to pass she knew the darkness had begun to show itself; and that was not something to be happy about.
Hearing footsteps through the doorway she hopped back out the window and out of sight, staying close enough to listen to be sure the trinket would be received by the right person.

As Rubys head hit her pillow, she felt something strange, and hard. She reached her hand back, almost afraid of what she would find. As she grabbed the item, she sat up on her bed to inspect it. He fingers grazed over the out of place item. It was a broach. It looked old, and was covered in dust. Using the sleeve of her coat, she dusted it off gently.
Her eyes widened as she realized what it was. Pure silver plating, at least thats what it looked like. and a Ruby colored gem. She stared at it for a few minutes. It looked oddly familiar. She stood up and walked to her door, looking around the hallway. No one was around. She figured that meant it wasnt left behind. "How strange..." Still, she decided it wouldnt hurt to keep it, at least until someone claimed it. Looking at it again for a moment, she slipped it into her pocket.

Nora breathed slowly as she listened to the girl, a smile appearing slowly on her face. That brooch would come in handy soon, when the new evils began showing themselves. It wouldn't be long now, many strange thing had begun happening in the world. All she would have to do now is stay back and watch, wait until the girl was provoked to call upon her powers...that is when Lenora would reveal herself as a friend and guide the girl to her destiny.

Across town, in an abandoned house, stood a woman in a long black gown. She stood in the hallway, a round mirror on the wall in front of her. As she stared at the mirror, an image of a redheaded girl appeared in the reflection. Her blue eyes studied the girl, before walking away. "This thing must be broken..."

A young teal haired female, dressed in rather expensive looking clothing, emerged from the back seat of a Town car, and approached the campus. Today was to be her first day here in a new town, and she felt confident the red haired girl she saw in her Aqua Mirror was here. She could feel the energy of another senshi, it was weak but she could feel it. And it meant one of two things, either this senshi was new or she was hurt and in need of assistance. Seeing as the campus was under no current duress, she waved off the latter of her assumptions.
But there was another energy, this one was stronger, much stronger. It almost seemed to sing inside her head. "Interesting" she said with a small smile. "I'd better get a place to stay" she said as she gathered her bags and headed towards a courtyard, the day now growing dark through there she spotted a building with a sign indicating "Student Housing".
"Ah, there we are" she said as she walked into the building. A few minutes later she was being shown a room by another lovely brunette-haired female who said she was the building manager. She was then left to open her room, and get settled.
Opening the door, she was a bit shocked to see the very Red-haired female she had seen in her mirror not yesterday. "Oh hello" she said as she bowed to the young female in the room. "My name is Michiru. It looks like we'll be roommates" she said with a smile.

The image of Ruby disappeared being replace with the tall form of Queen Nehelenia "Do not be mistaken girl, the one you see is your target. The future Sailor Ruby, leader of the Gemstone Senshi. You must stop her from discovering her power at all cost!"

Ruby looked up, her blue eyes scanning the woman entering her room. as she heard the young woman introduce herself, she raised an eyebrow. "Roommates?" Strange..Ruby wasnt told she'd be getting a roommate. And this young woman looked like she could afford better housing than the run down building used for poorer students.
After a moment of silence, Ruby quickly bowed. "Pleased to meet you. I hope you'll be comfortable sharing a room. "

Obsidian turned back to her mirror, shocked to see a woman in the glass. "There is no way that scrawny redhead is who you claim she is. And, who are you?"

The evil queen watched the girl for a long moment, a small hint of sadness in her eyes. "Oh my dear, and they say I am the evil one." She tilted her head slightly and locked eyes with Obsidian. "I am your Mother. Queen Nehelenia of the Dark Moon. RIGHTFUL Queen of the Twin Moons"
She was silent again for a moment then reached toward the glass touching it with her finger. "They thought they could save you from my influence, that hag Serenity and her brat. They locked me away in this place and stripped you of your memories, all because they wanted the kingdom for themselves. They stole my throne and tore our kingdom apart." anger lashed across her beautiful features.
"But I refuse to be beaten. I have learned much of this dimension, I have learned how to travel through mirrors, look past and watch from them...and most importantly I have learned to find people, to find you my daughter." She pressed her whole hand against her side of the mirror.
"Press your palm to mine dear one so I may unlock what they have stolen from you."

Obsidians eyes widened as she heard the woman speak. "M..my mother? How can that be?" She stepped closer to the mirror, examining the womans' face. It seemed she was speaking the truth, at least partially.
"Serenity? Ive heard that name before...." After another moment, Obsidian nodded and slowly touched the glass until her entire palm lined up with Nehelenia's. She took a deep breath, unsure what to expect next.
A power seemed to surge through the glass. In an instant Obsidian was flooded with a lifetime of memories flooded through her mind. Her body was thrown back from the shock of the experience. After landing on the floor a few feet away from the wall. Obsidian sat up, grabbing her head. "That..was highly unpleasant." After taking a moment to regain her senses, she looked up, tears in her eyes. "Mother..?"

The tall figure stood as an immobile pillar, welcoming the shadows that grew as the sun went down. She kept herself hidden in a brooding manner as she slowly brought herself down to a kneel, the evening breeze entangling itself in her deep, emerald hair, sweeping it upward in one swift movement that left as quickly as it came. Within an instant she had disappeared from that spot, to shroud herself in deeper shadow upon a rooftop close by.
For now, she would keep out of sight.
She expected to sense the familiar energies of her comrades soon. They were no fools. Surely they felt everything she had been feeling. Fortunately, her teammates had lives to distract them from the awful anticipation of . For her, it was much less convenient.
This time, she felt a terrible sense of foreboding as a tremor began to resonate from amongst the shadows, which stretched slightly against the dimension, causing her to shake within her very soul before the force slowly faded out. That horrendous pulsating force had caused such a strain on the timeline, that she'd been unable to handle it on her own. Her Superior had no choice but to involve Himself this time.
"Perhaps, since these young ones are emerging..." She had no intention of allowing the sole responsibility of such a burden to fall on the shoulders of the gemstone senshi. Even if it was their destiny to emerge at this point in time, they were still only children. "...she is there with her...good." She murmured quietly to herself as she waited, taking a moment to lock her dark, cherry eyes upon a closed, blinded window.

She forced the small amount of power through the looking glass, careful not to overload the girls memory. Still though, such a transfer wouldn't be without it's shocks. Nehelenia watched as Obsidian flew backwards with the force of the memories flooding back into her mind. With the little control she had outside the mirror she stopped the girl from crashing into the wall at the last moment, and waited for it all to sink in.
"Yes dear one, and now that you know who you truly are I ask this favour of you. Help me escape this prison, help me return to the world so we can crush those that think they can control out destinies."
