The eastern portion of the Land of Oz. Home to the Munchkins and many other small groups of people and other creatures. For now, this will serve as a rest stop that borders the other areas.

It felt like a dream.Yes, a dream. The white-haired man coughed to life and his light green eyes immediately opened, illuminated through the dark. He breathed slowly as his senses returned to him. First was touch, he could feel the dirt on the cold concrete beneath him. Next was sight, the faint outlines of objects in the dark. Then came smell, dust everywhere in Dorothy's den. Taste, only a small dose of blood. He must have bit his tongue in the midst of the... tornado, was it? Wait, tornado. The man sat up quickly as if he had just woken up from a bad dream. Tornado! Did it mean that he...? The man jumped to his feet and rushed towards the closest source of light, and that happened to be a window. He gazed outside and caught his breath at the sight of unusual flowers and architecture. Munchkin Country. He was back in Oz. A slight chuckle escaped the man's mouth as he looked around once more. He was back in Oz.

"Tweet tweet!"Brown eyes snapped open. Was that a...bird? Dorothy sat up, raising a hand to her head and shaking off the dizziness. "Jesus, I gotta stop drinking when I get scared," she murmured, standing and brushing the dust from her white jacket and gingham tank top. Everything looked the same, if you ignored the intense chaos. Beds were flung upside down, her bookcase was smashed, and even her beloved desk that she and Toto (mostly her) had built just a year ago. Opening her bedroom door, Dorothy ventured out just a bit, glancing around. "What happened?" she asked herself, starting to walk around the house. "Hello? Ma? Dad? Jenna? Anyone?" With a sigh, she returned to her room, grabbing her familiar bag of supplies: sewing kit, first aid kit, extra clothes, phone, laptop, anything she might need during a bad storm. Stuffing her hands in her jean pockets and sliding the backpack on, she slunk out of her room and and went out into the hall way. "Must still be in the storm cellar," she mumbled, leaning on the wall. Suddenly, a thought occurred to her. "Toto!!"

Hearing his name, the man's ear twitched. Ugh, did he say it was his name? No, that was his nickname, he just said it was his name because it had been years since he heard his real name. The young man, or for now Toto, turned his head in the direction the voice came from, his ears still twitching. He recognized that voice, it was Dorothy's. Dorothy... The man suddenly paled at a sudden thought. Did she... Was she dragged to Oz, too?

Letting out a small cry, Dorothy covered her mouth with her hand and tried to fight incoming years. "Oh God, what if he got hurt in the tornado?!" she thought out loud, running down the stairs now. "Toto!! Oh, Toto, where are you? Please, Toto, come back!"
{{Oh, before I forget, I moved her tattoo. Now, it's right under her left breast.}}

Toto's ear twitched again, the voice got louder. He felt his eye twitch with his ear. That girl had an annoying voice sometimes. He glared out the window and thought his options out carefully. He was back home, so he didn't necessarily need Dorothy anymore. He could ditch her, and he was sure the Munchkins would welcome her with open arms. Besides, he wasn't her precious dog anymore, he had no obligation to help her. Then again... He glanced sideways to where her voice was coming from. Knowing that knuckle-head, she'd be a pariah for stealing the entire town's items. She'd most likely be running around in a frenzy. Idiot girl. Sighing, Toto scratched the back of his head, having made his decision, and waited for Dorothy to find him. How would she even react...?

"Toto? Toto, come here! Come- oh!" Dorothy was stopped in her tracks by the sight of a strange young man with white hair, fake ears, and a fake tail in her house. "Who are you?" she opened her mouth to say, that is, until she saw the tail moving on its own. "Holy s**t! Wh-what...what the hell are you?!" she asked, stumbling backwards and falling onto a step. Suddenly, her dog occurred to her. "Why are you in my house? And what have you done with my dog? I demand answers!"

He narrowed his eyes at her. "Are you an idiot?" he almost growled, his tail flickering behind him. "Don't you get it? The dog ears? The dog tail? I am your precious little Toto!"

"No...no, that's impossible," she said, laughing nervously. "I mean...he's a dog!" Dorothy backed up a bit, shaking her head. "If...if you're him...tell me something only Toto would know."

"You have a tattoo under your breast." he replied bluntly then looked back to the window. The aversion of eye contact was more for his sake than her's. He could remember vividly when he caught sight of her tattoo. She was changing one day and he tried to sleep at the foot of her bed. One thing let to another and he got a glimpse of her tattoo... and then some. The image was forever glued to his mind, and even now he could picture every single curve on her bare body and each strand of hair on her head. It brought a blush to his face as he gazed out the window.

The girl's body grew stiff. Tattoo...how could...no one knew!!! They just met, how could they- wait, if he was really Toto, then... "You saw me naked!!" she screeched, pushing him as hard as she could. "You've seen me shower, change, TRY ON BIKINIS TOO SKIMPY FOR ME. Toto!!"

What was Dorothy's hardest push only made him lean back. "Ah, so you've accepted that I'm your dog, have you?" he mused, paying no attention to her other comments.

"There's no other way you could know about the tattoo, and I'm alone in a broken house with nowhere to go, so it looks like I have no other choice," she sighed, pushing her bangs back and looking up at him. "What's your name? Your real one, I mean. I can't keep calling you Toto."

"Trenton." he answered, stepping aside and motioning for her to come to look through the window. "Welcome to Oz."

Dorothy went over to the window, then gasped. "Oh my God...Toto...we are DEFINITELY not in Kansas anymore."
The land around them sparkled with life, and was colored in greens, blues, reds that she had never seen before. It was the most beautiful thing she'd ever seen, and yet... "I want to go home," she whispered, tears coming to her eyes as she turned to Trenton. "Take me back. I want to go back home right now!"
