Doyle stood in the ruined bathroom. He had went to do his business, heard some snickering and some whispering, and then BAM! The entire room exploded it seemed and water sprayed everywhere. The room was steadily flooding and he sent some of the others to go shut off the water.

He sighed and looked over at Fifi who was supposed to go on a TP run with him. The others would go off and buy parts needed to fix the bathroom and drop them off for Genesis and Walpurgis. "Alright Fifi seems we get the lovely mission of getting toilet paper." He again looked about the bathroom and grabbed a ruined roll of toilet paper. He wondered just what happened to make the toilet explode and to ruin a perfectly good roll of toilet paper. "Well lets go. I know of some places to get some."

Fifi stood in stunned surprise, water dripping from her drenched hair. At least she had been sprayed by the broken water supply pipe, so it wasn't like it was smelly? Though, the room itself reeked. Her nose wrinkled. Leaving for a supply run sounded like a good idea.

Since everyone seemed to be grabbing something, Fifi tentatively grabbed the tank float and float rod that was sitting near her. "Okay," she said, "where to?"

Doyle hadn't been quite as lucky as Fifi he got hit with spray from both types of water (used and fresh) but fortunately he didn't get hit with any floaters. Ugh.. if that had happened he would be off to shower first. He raised a brow when Fifi grabbed the tank float. Was that really necessary? He only grabbed the roll to throw at Genesis when he saw her next. Surely this was her handiwork.

"We can either hit some stores or we can go to a supply warehouse that Gen and I hit up from time to time." He said walking out of the bathroom and into the hall. He paused for a second and looked at Fifi. "I need to change. I smell and I'm soaked. My room isn't too far once we get upstairs."

After the side trip so Doyle could change into a spare outfit of his uniform, they were finally ready to go. He headed out of the base and released Archie. "Hm... he should be able to carry both of us until we get to town."

Fifi followed Doyle and waited while he changed. She wrung out her hair and ducked into a supply closet to "liberate" a spare uniform, changing right in the closet and stuffing her wet things in the janitor's sink. She was waiting and ready when Doyle reemerged.

"Um, if we're getting a lot, why don't we just hit a warehouse?" Fifi suggested. "That way we only have to stop at one place." She eyed the bird, then Doyle, who had changed, but not showered. "Maybe we should requisition a vehicle?"

Doyle looked over at Fifi and saw she was in fresher clothes. Apparently she changed too. "A warehouse it is then." He replied. He gave her a look like she was crazy when she suggested that they requisition a vehicle. "Got a problem with flying?" He asked like he had taken offense at her suggesting another mode of transportation, "I certainly hope you can drive if we get a vehicle." He didn't go on to say that he couldn't drive since he had never learned how. He just figured that she would know that he couldn't drive after that comment. He never considered that maybe she didn't want to be right next to him in case he started to smell.

Fifi smiled, trying to not offend the other Rocket. Blurting out that there was no way she was going to plaster herself to his back after he'd been doused in sewage and hadn't showered wasn't exactly polite, even if it was true. "Oh, I just wouldn't want to overburden the poor thing. And we wouldn't have room for supplies, either," she said instead. "I-I'm not afraid of flying, or anything," she said, looking down and away, twirling a piece of hair and scuffing a shoe.

Doyle just stared blankly at Fifi. "Archie could handle it." He simply said before going on, "If you don't want to fine. Go get a vehicle you can drive or I can get Akakios out and we can just ride my pokemon. Of course that'll take longer."

Archie looked back and forth from Doyle and Fifi. He certainly didn't think he could handle it. He squawked letting himself be known to be not cool with giving them both a ride. He then turned to look at Fifi wondering if she had any berries for him to eat.

"A vehicle would probably be best. Be right back!" Fifi said before darting off to requisition one.

Fifi drove up fifteen minutes later in a battered looking open-top Jeep, hair tucked under a bandana, grinning widely. "Okay, I got us a Jeep!" she called triumphantly. The back seat was missing, and the rear doors were welded shut. A few metal loops had been welded in various places to tie things down in the empty space where the back seat used to be. Five-point harnesses had been installed to replace the normal seat belts for the driver and passenger seats. The rear bumper was held on with both bailing wire and duct tape, and the stick shift had an old stress ball stuck on it with even more duct tape to replace the gear shift knob that had long since fallen off. Fifi was apparently oblivious to the numerous...unique details of the vehicle, and beamed happily at Doyle as she waited for him to climb in.

"Fine." Doyle replied. He waited for a moment and then recalled Archie back. No point in leaving the Archeops out if they'd be driving. When the Jeep came up Doyle paled visibly. Now he was reminded of why he didn't do vehicles much. He looked at the battered Jeep and considered letting Archie out and just meeting Fifi there.

"Uh.... you're not serious about this, are you?" He asked stepping towards the vehicle. He took note of how it seemed to be put together with more duck tape and broken promises then anything else. "Is this thing.... even safe?" He really didn't want to get in now. From the looks of it, he'd become sea sick and he wasn't even on the sea!

"Of course it's safe!" Fifi said indignantly. "It has a perfectly good roll bar, five-point harnesses, and you don't actually need your rear bumper! The front doors work, and we have a windshield, the gas tank is full and I have extra fuel just in case," here she gestured to a trio of plastic gas cans held in one corner of the back with webbing, "and I don't even need blocks to reach the pedals or a booster to see over the dash!" Fifi said, a ferocious pout on her face.

If Doyle could have gotten any paler he would have. Fifi had started off good mentioning the roll bar and harnesses but from there it quickly went downhill. He took a step back as if he was going to run away or something but suddenly one of the higher ups walked by mentioning that one of the Executives wasn't happy about this whole deal and that Doyle better hurry it up.

So he slowly got into the Jeep and did up his harness. Then he was clutching the door handle as if his life depended on it. And they haven't even go anywhere yet. "Just. Go."

Fifi waited for Doyle to strap in, then smoothly put the Jeep into gear and applied the gas. The bucket of bolts and bailing wire rumbled along, engine thrumming surprisingly smoothly. Despite the rough terrain, the Jeep didn't jolt them too badly, the shocks absorbing much more of the bouncing impact of their off-road ride than would be expected from such a beaten-up looking vehicle. The bucket seats they were strapped into were deeply padded under their stained upholstery, and had their own spring-shocks to absorb even more of the jolting. The result was a swaying, bouncing, jouncing motion that was almost like the motion of a boat, rather than a bruising, tooth-rattling lurch and jerk ride.

"See? I told you it was fine," she said after getting up to a reasonable speed, considering the terrain. "The frame is solid, the engine is fine, the shocks are good, and I've been doing this for years," she said smugly as they bobbed and bounced along. "Though it really is easier now that I can reach the pedals and see past the dash at the same time..." she mused.

Doyle was not happy about the seats having spring-shocks and the swaying motion they created. He would have much rather have the bruising, tooth-rattling lurch and jerk ride. He was soon feeling very nauseous and was fighting to not toss his cookies on himself. He looked around for one of the baggies kept in the vehicles just for these kinds of situations. However he wasn't having much luck and he wasn't able to ask where they were. If he opened his mouth he'd more than likely throw up everywhere.

In reply to all that Fifi had said, he merely shook his head unable to actually talk. Her last sentence didn't inspire confidence in her driving at all. After a particularly rough bounce/sway Doyle moaned and tried to roll his window down. He'd figured it was better to puke down the side of door than on himself.

Fifi glanced over. "Why are you rolling the window down? It isn't like we have a roof, and the only air conditioning this old workhorse has is factory air," she started, then noticed that Doyle looked rather pale. Rolling her eyes, she stopped the jeep. "Really, you can ride an Archeops, but you can't handle a little four-wheeling?"

Once the jeep had slowed down enough Doyle flung open the door. He gave up on the window as it was difficult to roll down. He was out of the vehicle before it came to a complete stop and was off running to the back so Fifi didn't have a direct view of him losing it.

After several moments had passed he walked back and leaned against the door frame. "It's easy riding an Archeops. But all of that swaying and lurching and bouncing..... it's just like being on a boat. I hate boats.... they make me sick." He said after a moment of silence had passed. He didn't think he was going to be able to get back into this car.... or any car for that matter. All he'd think of is this short trip and end up sick again. "How about I meet you in Katarina? I don't think I'm going to be able to ride in this thing anymore."
