RenishaS the numbers are the inches around. the letters are how large. i think. Not quite. The number is the measurement in inches around your ribcage just below your breasts plus five. The letter indicates how many inches difference between that number and the measurement in inches of the circumference of your breasts. A-cup is less than one inch, B-cup is 1-2 inches, C-cup 2-3 and so on.
