It would be a nightmare especially with the release of guildpact (or Ravnica for that matter)

i could probably work that into one of my decks, actualy i can see it working verry nicely in my gold deck.
but playing againced that=NO!
im not going to let that go on to an aponents side of the feild. to good.

its way to easy to just get rid of a chump card then bring in the good stuff.

you guys just discovered dream halls? it's banned in t1 for a reason...haha. not that it's a fair format anyway.

It's not banned in type 1
It's restricted to 1 copy per deck. They DO NOT ban things in type 1 (unless they say something about 'Ante' or are "Dexterity" cards that you have to flip onto the table like a Chaos Orb for example) because they don't want to eliminate cards from being played since type 1 is supposed to be the most diverse format there is.

Dream Halls is restricted for a reason. It makes combo insane, In type 1 you can cast dream halls turn one, back it up with some Force of Wills (in case your opponent has some) and play your combo for no mana and win on turn 2-3 maybe even 1.

it used to be a lot more broken then it is now...its a good card yeah but it just doesnt see much play now, it kills your hand too easily and doesnt really give you the advantage youd need...its more of a pre mature card that people use to try and jump the gun on with other people

you mentioned that this card could be played on turn one. how if it costs five mana?? i'm tsure there could be a combo, buts its 12 am ovner here and i dont feel like thinking that much.

its kinda busted on its own...plus by the time you get dream halls out your normally have nothing in your hand and if you do you ditch it before you can play a fow...normally you just play high casting cost creatures instead and win...
