Paul Atreides - Name of the main character from DUNE
Arrakis - Name of the desert planet of DUNE
Blood colour: Red! E03C1B
Gender: Female
Symbol:

The symbol is meant to look somewhat like Kokopelli, the Native American Trickster God of Fertality and Music. It can be simplified further if need be. c:
Personality:
Treide, or Tre (pronounced Tree), is an adventurous little scamp. She hardly enjoys staying in one place at a time and has a nasty habit of just roaming around, burrowing into the desert ground when the sun starts to rise, and shuffling home before CoyoteDad can become too worried and hunt her down.
She is a musician, though her songs and singing leave much to be desired. She often calls and sings to her lusus, who will return the call back. It was how they would find one another if a sandstorm came and he had to find a way home. Besides the god awful shriek-yips she calls singing, Tre is a lovely flute player. The flute she has was carved from the bone of a troll wild monster. Treide can actually sing normal songs, and has a lovely singing voice, but rarely if ever uses it. Because CoyoteDad sings in shrieks/yips, the troll finds it soothing and utterly breath taking.
At heart, she is a trickster and finds herself playing little pranks on those who are around her. Her pranks are never intentionally malicious, though they can be perceived as such. Rather they are meant to show others how their habits are silly. If a friend is obsessed with a clean house, she may mess it up to point out how pointless such an obsession would be. If a friend was obsessed with having a planned agenda, she might drag them on an impromptu adventure. Though these tricks are bound to make some upset... that is just fine with her! She is always down for an adventure, and finds the best ones you stumble upon. So getting chased by an enraged friend sounds like a grand way to spend a night.
Reactions to her trickery vary depending on the trick or the prank. If her friends become upset with what has happened, Treide will at first try to point out the good of the lesson. She will make a grand overture about why she did it and blah blah blah. If this does not alleviate the issue, then the little troll will huff and eventually apologize. If this still does not patch the relationship, you might get to see the very rare repentant Treide. Treide feels that Chaos is good in small doses and will help her friends grow as trolls if they can handle any wacky curve balls thrown to them.
Despite her trickstery way and screech-singing, she is very loyal to her friends. She is also rather polite to people upon first meeting them, and reserves her pranks/tricking to those closer to her. In this way, those first getting to know her have no idea what the heck they are getting into.
As far as the Hemospectrum goes, she thinks it's a bunch of bunk! Her favorite thing is to turn strong supporters of it on their head. Hehehe. That being said, she has never come face to face with a troll of a higher hemospectrum... Leaving one to wonder if when faced with the possibility of being culled her opinion will change.
Strengths:
Adventurous: Treide is always up for an adventure. Though the adventuring does not have to be a physical one. Often times she's content with mentally adventuring and pushing her friend's boundaries. How they think and how she can get their ideas to change is just as fun as digging in the sand. She loves to pose questions to friends and bat around 'what if' scenarios for hours on ends. Of course, finding ruins and hunting treasure is just so much fun! Can't leave that out there.
Loyal: She may be a bit obnoxious at time, with all the silly tricking, questioning, and running about looking for fun, but Treide is a strong friend. If you need her, she will be there. She might cause chaos in your life, but she's not going to ditch you in times of need.
Resourceful: After having so many nightly adventures in the desert, she has become rather resourceful. She knows how to tell if a sandstorm will come, how to find high ground, how to find old burrows over other lusus/creatures to hide in come day time, and how to find abandoned hives filled with possible valuables.
Flaws:
Overly Confident: Treide is over confident in her abilities. Be it her ability to protect her friends, or fight off large monsters. She thinks, no, she knows she's the best there ever was or ever will be! Her singing is the sound of a million mirthful messiahs singing in the nighttime breeze.
Self-Absorbed: Personal space? Alone time? How u mean speak these wurds what? No, really, Tre doesn't get what those things are. She invades spaces and just does as she pleases, bothering friends incessantly, causing chaos in their lives without a bat of her lashes. She means well, most of the time, but she's a bit too thick to really get the hint. You know the one where you locked the door and drew the curtains and she's still trying to find a way in the house? Yup.
This also plays, negatively, into her adventurous spirit and pranking ways. Triede loves adventuring way too much and so forcing her friends into an adventure, or making them angry enough to chase her around the desert, is a common past time for the little troll. She sees no wrong in what she's doing!
Prankster: -- Ah Treide! Did you really need to mess up all your friends books? Was it really necessary to bury a friend's house in sand? The answer is no, but to Treide it was. She means well, truly, but sometimes those intentions go very awry. The path to hell if paved with good intentions, after all. She is reluctant to dump her pranking ways, even when friends make it really clear they dislike it. To Tre she is giving them a valuable lesson and ability to cope with chaos! Plus, Chaos is good in small doses and someone needs to administer them.
Weapon:
Flute/Dart Gun - Dartkind

Appearance:
Hair: Tre has the typical black hair of trolls. It's curly and long. She normally keeps it in a style similar to this, with a french braid in the front leading to a poofy ponytail. Though, because of her clothing, you typically do not see her hair.Hair
Face and Horns: What was that? A reference for the horns? WHY SURE

Clothing: Out in the desert, Tre wears a black head scarf. There's a gray part that goes across her nose and face. It is attached at the side with a pin of her symbol and blood color. Similar to this More terrible drawings. She usually wears goggles as well when out in the desert.
Her shirt is long and billowy with open, loose sleeves. It falls down past her waist. She then wears a pair of black pants and a pair of black shoes.
Accessories: Her goggles, a pair of simple ones she wears when out an about. Her headscarf as well could be an accessory.
Scars: She's got a few cuts and scars on her arms and legs too, but they're hidden by sleeves and pants.
Home:
Chittentown! She lives in the desert. Her home is two stories, with the second story being about one bedroom large. The bottom floor is rather open, housing her kitchen and a sleeping den/curling up area for CoyoteDad and where she will chill out if not in her upstairs room.
Lusus:
CoyoteDad was the one to pick her up! Like other Lusus, he's pure white. He's rather large an has two tails and four eyes. Tre picked up her style of singing/yipping from Coyote dad, and also her habit of pouncing on things.
CoyoteDad (CD) was very strict on Tre when she was younger than her current age, making sure that the young troll did not wander too far out of the hive and especially not during the wee early morning hours. CD taught Treide how to burrow down deeply and quickly, using her hands and feet. This natural skill was not easy for the young troll to pick up, but eventually she became proficient and fast enough (with the help of a shovel) to burrow deeply.
Once Triede understood how to burrow and judge dawns coming, CD became much more lax. This happened slowly over time. CD would escort Treide on longer and longer expeditions into he desert, and as her survival skills grew, he would sometimes 'vanish'. CD was never too far away and could save his lusus if need be, but he wanted to see her reactions. The first few times were bad, but eventually Treide became very talented at surviving without the aide of her lusus. She was able to burrow, look for danger, and hunt small creatures without help. Convinced that his charge was well equipped to handle the dangers of the desert, he stopped worrying as much. Instead of demanding the troll be home at Dawn, or even following her, he would allow Tre to roam freely. Partially trusting her skills, but also understanding that the girl had a deep need for freedom and adventure, he relaxed his reigns on her. It was also an opportunity for Treide to learn about Alternia alone, which CD felt would be valuable as an adult.
CD will still accompany her at random, and sometimes hunt down his charge to check up on her, but he is not as glued to her hip as other lusii would be.
