While exploring the garden one afternoon, Ray, Sarria, Aurora and Kami discover a hidden door. After much effort, they get the rusty old door open and discover that it leads not only through the garden wall, but all the way through the wall of the city....

((there's actually a bit before this that starts here: http://www.gaiaonline.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=3779008&postdays=0&postorder=asc&start=6390 )) emme Ray nodded absently. He watched the TV show for a bit before taking his glass back to the kitchen. Through the open door to one of the other rooms, he caught a gimpse of sky through an open window. Forgetting Sarria in the other room, he went to the window, looking out over the tangle of overgrowth and bushes that made up the back yard.
Remembering his manners, he made his way back to the entertainment area and found his place on the couch arm, glancing back at the window from time to time.
"The back yard of the shop... you been there yet?"Neith-Kia Aurora went upstairs, not sure where she was going. She really didn't have much to do, life was pretty slow and normal. For a change.
...well, other than the Ura incident, with the throwing of teacups and being drugged. But that wasn't her fault, that was whoever drugged... whatever it was in?
She heard voices, and headed in the right direction for them. Aurora found herself looking at a much older Ray, and Sarria. He... looked kind of... cute?
"Hi!" But what was more important, Aurora decided, was that she'd heard two voices. And unless they'd stuffed Ura under the couch so that he could hide from her, it had to have been Ray and Sarria! "...you're talking?"
She bounced at him, hugging the larger boy. "Yay!" Xannyia "Yeah," Sarria answered, "Lots of times. In fact, I go there as often as I can. It's a great peaceful place to sit and relax. My favorite spot is by the pond, for some reason the sound of water calms me." She informed him, "Xannyia has a rather nice garden too, but I prefer the one here at the shop. How about you? Have you been to the shop's garden?" After asking him that she finished up her glass of water and replaced the empty glass on her knee and pushed it back and forth in between her hands until she heard Aurora. "Oh hi Aurora!" She greeted cheerfully and held the glass in just one hand to give the other girl a wave. emme "Eep!" Was about all that Ray could muster before being attacked by Aurora. He gave her a quick hug back before pulling away. He stood, a bit akwardly, distancing himself a bit from the two girls.
"Yeah..." He stuttered. "I can speak now...." And i'm taller... and look different and feel different... and this is scaring the crap out of me.... He thought, backing up. Towards the stairs. "Uh... want to go to the garden " He glanced over to the dark haired girl. "You can show me the pond?" Neith-Kia "Hi Sarria! How are you?" Aurora asked, as she stood back again.
Aurora stood back. She wasn't sure what Ray would be thinking... so she tried looking around as she took in the newly furnished room. It was strange, how nice and new it looked. It didn't look this new when she'd last been here. ...and there was that ghost! "That's good... although I guess my learn to speak sign language book is useless now. Ray, have you seen the ghost lately?" Xannyia "I'm fine thanks." She replied, "And you, I hope you're feeing better after that little...incident at the ball where you seemed a bit sick?" She smiled at Ray's reaction and held in a small laugh. "Sure, let me just go put the glass back in the kitchen." Sarria told Ray and uncrossed her legs to walk over to the kitchen.
When she returned to where the other two were she raised her eyebrow curiously at the mention of a ghost. She hadn't heard anything about a ghost. She looked toward the window overlooking the garden and smiled at the two of them, "Okay, I'm ready to go when you are." emme Ray smiled at Sarria, glad she was coming... for some reason, he couldn't resist the urge to get to the garden. He wasn't sure if it was the simple temptation of sunlight gleaming through the window, or the overpowering presence of the walls leaning in around him... As much as he hand wanted to be anywhere but home, now he didnt' want to be anywhere but outside. The garden looked wonderfully dense with leaves, like the perfect place to escape. Xannyia The girl went to take Valoray's arm to lead him toward the stairs and out to the garden, looking back to see if Aurora was going to come with them. "I hope you like the pond, there's lots of fish to see in there." She informed him as she headed toward the garden. "Maybe you'll even get the chance to meet another Simu. There's always someone in the garden, or at least most of the times that I've been there." Aurora Ray pause for a moment before letting Sarria guide him down the stairs. He smiled at the thought of the ghost. "I forgot about that..." He said after a moment. He glaced back at Sarria at the stairs, and then to Aurora "I want to check out the garden.... Coming?" Xannyia ((*is back* smile )) Sarria glanced back at Aurora, hoping she would come too, then she turned her head off to the side to look at the boy, "Do you like nature too then?" She asked curiously. She wondered if that was a Simu thing, since most simus she had meet seemed to like nature; and that was a good thing in Sarria's book. "I do." emme Ray nodded and gave Sarria a crocked grin, pointing to the leaves in his hair, blending in to the streaks of green. "Yeah, trees, especially..." He said, some what sheepishly, for lack of a better explanation. He held the door for the girls, looking out over the overgrown mess of a yard through the storage room window. Xannyia "Oh, I can't believe I didn't notice that!" Sarria's tannish brown eyes widened a bit at her own lack of attention to the smaller details. She eyed the leaves a bit and smiled at them. That was certainly different from the other Simu she had come in contact with, "Tree's are nice." She agreed. "Thank you." She said politely after he had held the door open for her and Aurora as she stepped through and looked around a moment, waiting for the other two.

emme Ray followed the girls out the door, and glanced around at the thick over grown folliage. They had to make their way over a small bridge before they were in the midst of the the overgrowth. Ray let Sarria guide the way to the small pond in the back, though he was more interested in his new surroundings rather than their destination. Mother's garden was so simplistic, well groomed... and small. This was more like it. A jungle... a forest, and it had been here all along. Xannyia Sarria's face was litterally glowing with joy as she saw the pond and immediately went over to it and peered at her reflection in the water. "Here we are." Although it was quite obvious they had arrived at the pond, she felt like announcing it anyway. "I think I enjoy spending time by this pond so much, because it reminds me of little ponds and streams on mountains..." She trailed off, drifting off for a few seconds to imagine herself standing next to a mountain stream. That didn't last long however, since she was aware she was with someone else. "So what do you think of the garden Ray? Is it okay if I still call you Ray? Or would you like to be called by your full name now?" emme "Everyone calls me Ray..." he shrugged. "Valoray almost sounds like a girls name."
Ray stood by the pond, looking around, hands in his pockets. It was nice out here, surrounded by the greenery... "I really like it out here..." Ray told Sarria, finally feeling a bit more at ease. "Thanks for showing me."
Ray looked up at the clear sky above them, then at the skyline. There was a line of tree tops visible just over the city wall, which this very yard backed up against. He wondered absently if it was possible to actually climb it, his eyes tracing the chipped and loose bricks that made up the bulk of the wall. Xannyia "Okay, then I'll call you Ray." Sarria told him, "And I think Valoray is a nice name, it's easy to say and it sounds nice" She took a few seconds to look up at him from the pond, "You're welcome, now you know why it's one of my favorite places." She returned her gaze to the pond as she bent over to touch the water with a few of her fingers then straighten up again, tracing an invisible symbol on her palm for something to do. "So what about trees makes you like them so much?" Xannyia Sarria had taken to humming a strange tune quietly to herself and moving her head side to side before she snapped herself back into reality and cleared her throat, hoping he hadn't heard that or hadn't been paying attention. "Yes, trees are nice and quiet. I feel the same way about mountains. I love nature, but if the forest is up in the mountains that's even better."
She looked back to where she thought Ray was standing and blinked in surprise when she discovered he was no longer there. Turning around she frowned curiously when she finally spotted him again. "What are you doing?" She asked, slowly making her way closer to him, wondering what he could possibly be up to. emme Ray looked back over his shoulder at Sarria, pushing back more of the overgrowth to show her what he'd found. He stood back a little, using the weight of his body to hold back the branches.
"There's a door..." He told her. It was rusted over, but there was a handle set in one side, and the hinges looked they could possibly still work. He brushed away some cobwebs and leaves and tried the handle. The latch moved when he pressed it, releasing the lock, or so it seemed. When he pulled on the heavy door, though... It wouldnt' budge. Mud and leaves had built up along the bottom, blocking his efforts. He pulled harder, and still nothing happened. Xannyia "A door?" Sarria repeated in a quiet whisper. She hadn't even considered the possibility that there could be a door here. The girl moved closer to him to peer off to the side of his shoulder. "Maybe I could help you pull?" She offered. She wasn't the strongest Simu and probably wouldn't help out much, if at all, but she figured she would give it a try. If it came to it...she could always just help him move the stuff away from the bottom of the door. "That's funny...a door out here...don't you think?" Pata lover Kami, wondering where it exactly was the others were disappearing off too, curiously followed behind them, keeping a few steps behind Aurora, Ray and Sarria.
Seeing as they were walking around outside, Kami's small wings fluttered, only person that was able to tell was her as she could feel it. Sighing softly, her ears took in the sounds of nature, animals, birds and the wind through the grass and the trees.
She had always preffered it out here than inside where her mother kept her most of the time. Catching up with two of them, the teenage simu blinked as Ray was leading them onward again. She had to smile, even though it was slightly chilly.
"Hey, guys." Her footsteps made noise on the leaves, grass and twigs underfoot, wishing she could see an animal, a fawn maybe or a rabbit.
"Let me help, Ray.." She offered to the other simu and dug at the mud and leaves that where along the bottom of the heavy door. "Now try." emme "It seems like it should lead through the wall, outside the city." Ray said, welcoming her help. They pulled together on the large metal handle, but it stayed fast. Ray giggled the latch. "Try now, " he said, feeling the door give way slowly. The hinges groaned in protest, and they were only able to get it open a crack. Ray kicked at the mud and leaves stuck along the bottom, trying to loosen it.
Now that he'd found it, he was determined to find out what lead beyond this door. He gripped the handle again and pulled with all his strength, the door finally widening to open about a foot and a half. Xannyia Sarria hadn't really been pulling, at least not that hard. When the door did finally start to move she started pulling a bit harder, "It certainly is...being stubborn." She managed to say while pulling, eventually just using all her weight to pull on it rather than trying to use her strength.
She couldn't help but grin when it had opened a small bit, "Hey, it actually opened...sort of." She went to give Ray a pat on the back and gazed curiously at the small opening, "Like a...secret passageway, but not a passageway." She remarked with a nod of her head.
That's when she noticed Kami and smiled down at the other Simu for helping them out, "Hey Kami." Part of her was surprised that Kami would have gotten dirty by digging in the mud, but she was thankful for the help nonetheless. "How long have you been here? I didn't even notice you until now." She shook her head to herself, deciding she really should be more alert.
Neith-Kia
Aurora grinned, answering him as they went downstairs. "I guess less childhood means I remember more of what happened? I guess you don't remember sitting at the store's table as well?"
She followed them outside, brushing away the damp bush that was thick and overgrown in the garden, but Aurora didn't bother pulling leaves out of her thick hair. She kind of liked them there, Aurora decided, and even stuck a early blooming flower in amungst the mess. Kia would freak out when she saw Aurora's hair... but that thought only made Aurora grin more.
"Hi Kami!" Aurora told the pretty teenager, kneeling to help her out. As soon as the gap was opened, she stood behind the others, waiting to see who'd go through first.

emme Ray was yanking at the handle, getting the door open with the help of Aurora and Sarria when Kami seeme to appear from no where... or perhaps it was just his obsession with the door that had kept him from seeing her approach. She quickly knelt and helped Aurora to move some of the debre, and Ray jumped at the unexpected appearance of pink hair, hitting his head on a few low hanging branches.
"Kami!" He said blinking before the partially open door for a moment. He rubbed his head, "I didn't see you..." He quickly brushed away a few more leaves and webs before investigatnig the now open door. "Careful with your dress..." He told her, remembering their tea party and the spilt tea.
There was a cool breeze coming through the open door, and it was dark beyond the opening. It seemed to be a tunnel of some sort. Ray leaned forward, peaking through the opening, squinting through the dim light, and brushing away more loose cobwebs. "Anyone got a light?" He asked absently before pushing his way through the opening, doing his best to clear the way for the girls.
There was no light at the end, so there was no way to tell how far it went, or if it went through the wall at all... though Ray couldn't imagine it leading anywhere else, and the path didn't seem to slope downward to go underground. Pata lover Hearing the two other's greeting, she grinned at them as they helped out with trying to get the door open as well. "Hey, thanks for the help..Uhm..a while, since you guys left." Kami admitted to Sarria.
Wincing as Ray bonked his head on the of the trees with a solid thunk, she knew it had to be because of her. She bit her lip, somehow she didn't feel like anyone accepted her but she stayed silent about that fact. "Ouch! You okay, Ray?"
Her voice was full of concern, and she didn't care about the dirt or even getting dirty but picked up the hem of her dress and curled it about her fist so she wouldn't at least get the bottom dirty for Ray more than herself, softly smiling at that memory of the two.
Blinking as the door opened, the breeze coming from it messed with her now darker pink toned hair, making her dress ruffle as well. She peered curiously into the door and watched as Ray disappeared into it, it must be safe then if he's going through it were her thoughts so she took the liberty of following after him first.
"Boy..it sure is dark in here..." Was the only thing Kami could say, her wings slightly giving off a dull glow so that mostly everyone could at least see a little and not pitch black.
(( I hope that's okay, Emme? If not, you can negate it but it would be a cool little twist hehe. 3nodding whee heart heart )) Xannyia Sarria gave a nod to Kami, "Oh, I hadn't seen you either." She smiled and then cringed slightly, shaking her head as Ray hit his. After Kami had entered the dark passage way Sarria entered, "Yeah it is." She mumbled, looking around her at the darkness. "And no, sorry, I don't usually carry a light with me." She told Ray, "Although maybe I should sta--" She went quiet when she saw the glow coming from...Kami?
Backing away for safety reasons, Sarria narrowed her eyes some to get a better look. It wasn't everday she saw a Simu glowing... "Um...Kami? Are you...glowing?"
((And if her glowing wing things aren't allowed...then Sarria never asked that blaugh whee )) emme ((works perfectly! ^__^)) Ray nodded and gave Kami a smile to assure her that he wasn't hurt, though he did rub the back of his head a bit more. After entering the dark, cool tunnel, he turned to assist the girls should he need to. Though once he saw Aurora's hair scattered with leaves, and Sarria's calm about the whole situation, he doubted they'd need any help. They both seemed pretty independent.
Kami came in right after him, her tiny wings glowing with a faint light that made it easier to see. "Kami! your wings... You should lead." He said, as he swept his arms about in the empty air, trying futiley to brush away as many of the loose cobwebs out of their path. Sensing that she wasn't entirely confident on going ahead on her own, he reassured her. "I'll stay close," he said, taking her by the arm. Pata lover Eyes glancing backward to see how everyone could take the fact that she was slightly glowing, well..it was her wings doing anyways. Watching Sarria as she slightly backed away, she nodded to her. "Don't be afraid, it's just my wings that are glowing." Kami said to the other simu with a slight smile and kinda flinched as Ray told her she should lead the little group. Her hand clenched tighter to the silken fabric that was her dress to keep it up from dragging on the ground. She didn't know where she was going and therefore was scared for that reason but as comforted by Ray's words and so bravely took the lead of the small group, look of determineation on her face. Xannyia Sarria seemed relieved to learn it was the girl's wings and nothing more. She then moved back to her spot closer to Kami and Ray, looking back to make sure Aurora was coming with too. The Simu couldn't help but smile as she watched Kami 'take charge' and lead the way.
"I'll watch our backs." Sarria informed them, glancing behind as she spoke. This was fun. Other than the fact they had no idea where they were going, or if it was safe...it was fun. It was an adventure, and besides, there was safety in numbers, and there was four of them at the moment; so that was good. emme Ray stayed close to Kami's shoulder, keeping a hand on her elbow incase she should slip on the uneven ground. Her wings emitted just enough light to see just before them, and for the girls following to see the the ground. They quickly approached the end, which appeared to be a dead end... or another solid door. He only hoped this one wasn't locked either. "Thank you Kami." He told her, giving her arm a friendly squeeze before he made his way past the pink haired girl to investigate the end of the short tunnel. It was damp at this end, and much darker, despite Kami's lumination. He ran his finger along the edge, seaking out a metal edged frame as he'd instinctively done with the previous door. There he found it! Another handle! Just like before!
He fumbled with the latch in the dark, getting the mechanism to move with a firm 'clunk' sound. He pulled, this time, and found that these hinges were in much better condition, and there was no debre to keep the door from swinging open with ease. He lost his footing on the slippery ground as the door opened wide, letting in the bright afternoon light. Narrowly missing Kami in his tumble backwards, he found himself sitting in cold, sticky mud adn gazing out at the open forest before them. There was an overgrown path that lead deep into the forest, which seemed to get denser further down the slope. Pata lover (( Kk, see ya then ^^ ))Giving a soft sigh of relief at Sarria saying she'd watch their backs, that was a good thing most deffineatly. She wondered if 'rora was staying behind intentionally, it was a sweet little adventure allready in her eyes. Feeling Ray's hand on her shoulder as she lead the small group to what seemed the end and perhaps even darker than it was before in the tunnel or maybe it was her wings dimming? Either way, she was greatful for Ray's help and reddish orbs watched him walk around in front of her when they came to the end, giving her shoulder a squeeze which in turn made her smile. The dampness was everywhere, she could taste it that's how thick it was, watching Ray in suspence as he searched around for a handle, and feeling of happiness when he found another one just like the one before! So it's not just a dead end! The door opened easily too! Even better! Seeing Ray tumble backwards, she jumped out of the way out of insinct and he nearly missed her. Kami, looking concerned once again, put out a small hand to him and helped him up, not caring at all about the mud or even her shoes which were covered in it, it all lead to a bath anyways which she loved still even though she was a teenager now. "Careful, Ray.." The simu's glance went out to the bright sunlit path that lead into a forest and covered her eyes with her hand for a few moments, letting her vision adjust to the bright sunlight after being in pitchblack for a while. "..mmm, wow..interesting, a path..." Kami was intriuged. Xannyia Sarria had followed closely behind the other two Simu that were leading for the most part. She wasn't in much of a hurry, and stayed behind for a short while to wait for Aurora. When she had finally caught up to where the other two were she waited quietly for the door to be opened. When the light from the otherside flooded in, she let her eyelids fall shut to avoid being temporarily blinded by the sun. She was listening to Kami help Ray up off the ground and was hiding a smile, feeling a bit sorry for the poor guy. First he hits his head, then falls in mud. The whole while in the little tunnel, Sarria had been careful to step lightly to avoid getting mud from the ground on her feet since she was in sandals. For the most part that had worked quite well. At last, her eyes adjusted to the change in lighting and she slowly opened her brown eyes. What she saw caused her smile to escape; a forest! "How beautiful." She remarked in a quiet voice as she took a few steps forward so she was only a couple feet away from Kami and Ray. emme Ray sat blinking at the trees and slope before them, his eyes adjusting to the light. The dampness of the cool mud was jsut beginning to seep through his jeans when Kami held out her hand to help him to his feet. He quickly wiped his hands on his jeans before taking her well manicured hand. He nodded at Sarria's statement once he was on his feet again. He didn't really care that he was now covered in mud, leaves and cobwebs. He glanced back to see where Aurora was, resisting the urge to run down the path to see where it would lead... but he wasn't about to run off with out her. He was glad Aurora there with them, though he hadn't realy gotten to know her as a teen, she'd been protective of him when they were younger, and as long as she was there he felt confident that it'd all come out okay... Like with the Ghost at the shop... He looked back at Kami, who stood a bit taller than either Sarria or Aurora, her pale blue dress and shoes speckled with bits of mud around the hem despite her efforts to hold it up, cobwebs in her hair... but she looked happy... He wondered if he should say anything, feeling rather bad that he'd drug them all through that damp dark hole in the wall on a wild whim. "Umm..." He said akwardly and brushed a bit of cobwebs from Kami's thick, dark pink locks. "Sorry... I shouldn't have made you go first..." Neith-Kia ((Yes! He can come! biggrin Rora would like him. ^_^)) Aurora ducked into the tunnel as well, not quite as certian about this place than outside. Overgrown bushes, she liked. Dark dangerous tunnels, that was something she really hated, and she edged close to the others so that she didn't loose them. Kami's wings were reassuring, Aurora could now see at least where she was. She bumped into someone, Aurora wasn't sure who, so she stepped backwards a few steps and waited. The light blinded her for a few moments... and finally, she'd found herself staring at a forest from the darkness of the tunnel. "Ooh..." Aurora muttered, stepping out. It was then she saw Ray was in mud... and instead of helping him, she just grinned, grabbed a handful of mud and patted his head with her muddy hand from the back. Aurroa jumped back again, looking innocent and angelic. With her muddy hand, dripping still, held behind her back. What? She was allowed to have a bit of fun!

She didn't care about the mud on Ray's hands or anything, the thought never crossed her mind as she was having too much fun, obviously one could tell if they looked at Kami's face for it was beaming with happieness.
She had gone through most of the cobwebs with her hands, but glanced at Ray as he looked at her looking like he felt sorry for something and she blinked as his hand came up to brush away the cobwebs she didn't know she had in her hair out of it gently.
She didn't know what to think as she heard his words spill from his lips. So, Kami gave him a sweet smile, hand gently touching his cheek for a few moments in an accecepting sort of way. "..Ray..It's allright, really. At least you were..with me.." That last bit made her face turn red for some reason.
Glad that Aurora caught up with them finally, she gave smile to the other simu as she patted Ray on the head with mud which made Kami chuckle at her friend's actions.

Sarria went to step out of the small tunnel like area carefully. Once outside she glanced back at the others and gave each of them a smile. "It's nice out here." She commented as she looked up toward the sky and took a large breath of fresh air; just happy to be outside.
"Who would have thought the dark and dreary tunnel would have led to such a wonderful place." The girl turned around slowly, looking at her entire immediate surroundings curiously. Noticing what was happening to Ray, Sarria shook her head and grinned, now really feeling sorry for the poor guy. Now probably even more muddier than before.

Feeling a hand pat his head, and stick as it pulled away... Ray remembered all too well the times he spent playing with the other elvin boys. He he didn't need to even feel his hair to know what he'd find. He turned, catching Aurora slip her hand behind her back, angelic expression in place.
He didn't quite know how to react. He was used to girls with manners... And she was older... didn't she know better? He blinked at her for a moment, and turned to face the forest once more. And the forest was much more interesting than worrying about mud or Aurora's anticks.
So it was settled. Aurora was here, nothing was keeping him from the path now. Brushing out as much mud from his hair as possible, he headed down the slope, letting the girls follow as they would. He was soon enveloped in the trees, following the barely visible path. A creek could be heard to the right, and it grew louder as he followed the path.
Suddenly the trees opened up into a lush, sunlit glade. The creek pooled at the far end of the glade, making for a perfect swimming area. There were large rocks scattered about... which at first looked natural, but upon further inspection, it became clear that they were carved and aranged about the glade. Each rock had a different assortment of delicate carvings, none of which seemed directly linked... Except for the one at the other far end of the glade. It was a rather large arangement of rocks, almost competely obscured by ivy, and at the top was a large angelic figure, arms crossed over her chest, watching over the entire glade.
Ray stopped and stood in awe at the gorgeous clearing this this dense bit of forest... just a short walk from the shop. He walked out into the center of sunny glade, blinking up at the sky. This place felt more like home than his own home had.... even before their trip to dragons breath, when it was the only home he'd known...

Aurora was a bit taken back by Ray's reaction. ...did he think girls sat around in pretty dresses, and sipped tea all day long? Maybe he did.
She'd just have to be a bit more carefull. He'd have to get used to the idea of girls that weren't like that... there were quite a few like that now.
She followed him down the slope, glancing at the other girls. Aurora wasn't going to comment on Kami's attempts at throwing herself at him. She liked Kami... but Aurora currently was feeling a bit strange and uncomfortable when it was Ray and girls in a romantic situation. She still felt like he hadn't grown to fit his body.
But that was probably only because Aurora was used to the idea of Ray being little?
She paused in the edge of teh glade, staring around. Aurora couldn't believe it... what was this? Where? And why? There were even carvings, and an angelic figure watching over the glade. She wasn't sure if she was intruding or not at first, it looked special and important.
Aurora made her way out, relaxing as the warmth of the sunshine warmed her skin.

Kami wasn't throwing herself at anyone, she was just genuinely caring about Ray seeing as he was her friend. She'd do the same for anyone else though she doubted that anyone else would do that for her. She heaved a sigh, eyes upon the thing they've discovered on their own, the statue was so pretty.
The simu walked away from the group, deep into the woods, her mind on getting away from the others and her feelings and thought at the moment, eyes cast to the grassy ground underneath her feet. Finding a stream, she sat down next to it and dipped her fingers in the cool water to wash them off of the mud.

"Tap even a stone bridge before crossing it." Sarria suddenly warned the others, obviously telling them to be careful and observant. She had stayed behind a bit and before walking any further into the place had observed them first before walking after them, still watching where she stepped and watching what was going on around her.
She was thinking about how peaceful and calming this place seemed. It would make a wonderful place to mediate at. Perhaps even a better place than the pond in the Shop's garden. Although she wouldn't dare think about 'abandoning' that place. "This place certainly is beautiful." She said in a hushed voice, as though if she spoke too loudly it might ruin the peacefulness of the place. "Don't you think?"

Ray made his way around the glade, running his fingers along the rocks and trees and paused for a moment under the large angelic carving. He staired up at it, blinking in the sunlight. He felt strange... kind of shivery and warm at the same time.
He eventually turned away from the angel made his way to the pool at the far edge, taking his time as he did so, looking over each rock he passed it, trying to make sense of what he saw carved on them. They seemed fragmented some how... He soon reached the pool, and climbed up onto one of the bordering rocks before kicking off his boots, and dunking his head into the cold water, washing the mud from his hair and hands. His jeans were another matter.. and would have to wait until later.
He watched as Aurora entered the glade, still brooding over muddy pat on the head, and exactly how to deal with a girl who was acting like a boy... he bit his lip... and not at all like a boy at the same time. Tackling wouldn't work... he was definately heavier, and it just wouldn't be nice... the sneaking up and tripping could be mean... so would pegging her upside the head with a pine cone... he didn't want to hurt her. He paused for a moment, his eyes narrowing, thinking of the paint ball guns Raven had brought from Earth to play with while they were visiting Dragons Breath.
He shook his head... no... that would hurt too...Though it would be fun... but not fair.
He sighed.
He didn't really want to get her back that bad anyway. He didn't really mind the mud...
He didn't really know what to think just yet. About much of anything. But he liked this place. He hoped the others would too. They'd have to keep it a secret.
He sat on the rock, watching where the clearing opened to the path, waiting for the other girls. He bit his lip again, realizing how abruptly he'd left them at the wall. Aurora had followed, and Sarria appeared shortly after, but where was Kami?

Aurora stood in the center for a few minutes, letting the sunshine warm her body. She really did like the sun, even if it caused burning and skin cancer...
She made her way over to the pool as well, and for once, Aurora wasn't worried about touching water. She dipped both hands in, washing the mud off carefully while she kept one finger curled so that the ring wouldn't slip off. Better to be safe than sorry.
"It's more than beautiful." Aurora replied, then went quiet again. Her voice sounded too loud.
Looking up at Ray, Aurora grinned. She would have teased him, but she didn't. He'd had enough of her playfullness, Aurora decided. She instead wandered over and flopped on a nearby rock, ignoring how the water was dripping all over him. He looked ... well, she wasn't sure what Ray looked. Just in case it was to do with her, Aurora told him quietly, "I'm sorry for mudding you. I was just playing around."
