Sailor Persephone happily trotted along her patrol, sipping the hot coffee in her hands. She disliked being out in the cold in her annoyingly skimpy senshi outfit, but a hot mocha with a shot of raspberry both kept her awake and alert and did wonders for warming her up. Of course, packing her wallet when she went out had been interesting, but her sash had done well enough for that, and ordering had been...fun. But after having ordered coffee while dressed like Ciel Phantomhive, doing it while powered up had been a snooze.

For now, she was merely hoping for a thoroughly uneventful patrol.

One hand was under the cup steaming cup of espresso, the usual pomegranate syrup added to it, while his right hand was placed further up the cup. Tilting it back as the opening on the cups cover pressed to his lips he took a slow sip, he didn't want to burn his mouth on the pipping hot beverage.

With his uniform it wasn't hard to find a place for his wallet, it was in a back pocket, as the General moved through the darkened back alley ways of the downtown area. The glare of the lights from stores, cars, and other things only just lighting the mouth of the alley ways he walked down. The click of his heels, soft and almost muffled, the only warning for any civilian of his presence as he kept to deeper and darker parts of the alleys he skulked about as he patrolled. He wasn't out for energy or anything else other than making sure those of lower ranks weren't in trouble tonight.

Giving a content sound as the hot drink filled his mouth and was swallowed he let his eyes close for a moment in bliss. Some senshi, lower ranked, was in the area but they weren't a worry for him. They were too low a rank to worry over. He didn't think if they'd come for him or not, he'd met some rather stupid senshi who weren't even super level who had come after him, he was ready if they did.

Persephone froze mid-step when she felt the very powerful Chaotic aura. It was several ranks above her, and if she were saner, she wouldn't be even considering approaching. But, well, if she were sane, she wouldn't be out in the freezing chill, looking for monsters. So she changed course to head straight for this mysterious very-powerful-Chaos-person.

Hey, if she got attacked, she could always use the energy boost from her coffee and her attack to get herself out of there, right? Sure. She was totally safe. Not that it was particularly safe to be ducking into dark alleys after mysterious villainous sorts, but ah well.

"Ah, hello?" She called out by way of greeting. Was he holding a coffee too? Oh, how wonderful. "I see we had the same thought," she held up her cup.

We come in peace, with caffeinated beverages. Or something.

Another idiot senshi, another weak and stupid senshi, he thought as he felt the signature getting closer and of course closer. Did these idiots have death wishes that they wanted him to fulfill for them? It almost seemed like some of these senshi might be suicidal, suicide by Negaverse? As amusing as the thought was, and however much it made his lips twitch up into a smile, he found himself leaning back against a brick wall and waiting. He kept himself just in line with the alleyway, rather than turning a corner and going behind some buildings. Slate eyes on the entrance as he watched the senshi come down his alley.

Hearing her call out he felt himself nodding to her. Ah, coffee also. And it seemed she wanted to make friends, bond over coffee. Feeling a smile tug at his lips once more he ducked his head, whispering to himself. "Will you walk into my parlour?' said the Spider to the Fly." Those words fit this, perhaps in both ways depending on this senshi. But he knew he could play friendly to her, all the while trying to bring her around to his way of thinking.

Lifting his head slowly he held up his own drink, just lifting it enough that it was noticeably done and came to level with his face. "Indeed, it would seem that way. It is a rather chill night so it is appropriate."

Persephone did not like this. She did not like this one bit. This was dumb of her, and she was probably going to die. Likely in a very painful way. Alas. Alternately this could all work out very well and she would walk away with a new friend.

She wasn't holding out hope for the second option. Lightning didn't strike twice; she was not going to meet another Virtus. She still gave him a shaky smile, letting herself at least try to be friendly to him.

"I dunno who decides on outfits, but whoever designed yours clearly had more versatile weather in mind than whoever designed mine." She said, her tone joking. "I am freezing; you must be so much more comfortable."

Looking her up and down he noted the usual skimpy skirt, lacking top, and the mostly bare legs. A sip of flavored espresso was taken, partially in order to cover up the laughter which fell from his lips, she certainly was correct about her uniform.

As the cups rim left his lips he was smirking at her. "Whoever designs the uniforms for all you senshi has the same idea in mind and enjoys dressing your lot in the skimpiest clothing." Which was clearly unsuited for this sort of weather. His coat, and shirt, may not be the warmest in this weather but at least it was warmer than her outfit, and any other white moon senshi. He'd wager his uniform was warmer than what several knights wore as well. To be honest he just disliked the uniforms the senshi wore and how much skin they showed, and this dislike of their uniforms wasn't hidden when he spoke.

Persephone let out a small noise that was a cross between a sigh and an annoyed huff. "Maybe I should start wearing a jacket," she said, and then she took a sip of coffee. She wrapped her arms around herself, glancing at her cleavage line. "I usually only show this much skin at conventions," she said under her breath. She had never quite felt self-conscious about her fuku before, but with Obvious Judgement coming down upon her it felt far smaller than it had before.

"So uh," she looked back up at him, "I'm Sailor Persephone, Senshi of Pomegranates!" Maybe it wasn't smart to blurt out her sphere to an enemy.

Whooops.

"That or you could never power up again." That would be the better option as far as he was concerned. If she never powered up again that was one less senshi to worry over, until the day she decided to power up for some reason. Clearly his words had some effect, she'd said something under her breath, and seemed to be trying to hide some of the showing skin now. How amusing, and so simple to affect her like this.

"Senshi of...pomegranates?" He questioned with a raised brow before looking to the cup in his hands and than back to her. "How interesting..." And he nodded his head once. "General Benitoite, a pleasure." This was certainly interesting. "Tell me, do you like pomegranates?" He couldn't help but be curious, considering it was her sphere.

"As appealing as that sounds," Persephone snorted, "I know enough to know that as soon as as soon as I say that sort of thing, make that sort of promise, a youma will attack my baby sister or something crazy so I have no choice."

Persephone swallowed. She had enough experience with military rankings to know that if he was calling himself a general, she had just unintentionally stumbled on someone very badass. Time to tapdance and play very very nice. "Ah, the pleasure's all mine, sir," she said. Should she curtsey? No, that would look silly with such a short skirt. Being queried about her sphere made her laugh quietly. "It'd be pretty ironic if I didn't, huh? But yeah, I do - tasty and good for you, right?" She said.

"Your baby sister...a civilian? We don't attack civilians and the youma can't help themselves. They need energy to survive - they don't kill." At least not that he'd ever seen. Senshi and knights they would kill but he'd never seen one kill a civilian so as far as he was concerned they didn't, because he didn't know otherwise.

"Sir makes me feel old. My name is preferred." Came the quick response. Being a teenager he didn't need, nor want, to be called sir. He was only seventeen and so sir was too much for him; sir was his father when working or at a social event.

"I'll agree they are good for you but more importantly is the taste." They were a personal favorite of his, ever since he'd gotten curious while in school and snitched a few little fruit jewels (they looked so pretty, like rubies) from a classmates lunchbox while in elementary school. "I have pomegranate syrup in my espresso." Holding up his drink to emphasis this.

Persephone nodded. "She's a civilian...I mean, as far as I know." Ack, no, not a good thought; Thalia was just at the cusp between Chibi and Senshi and the idea of her littlest sibling running around as a magical girl - nope, no thanks. "I mean - if they don't kill civilians, that's great and all, it was kind of a joke? Because, you know, that's the plot of Every Hero's Journey Ever; refusal of the call and all that."

"Well then, Benitoite." Persephone said. "Sorry about that. I mean, you did introduce yourself as a General." Which to her, meant it was time to sir until she was blue in the face.

"Really? Pomegranate coffee?" She laughed. "Wow, that's a crazy coincidence."

He knew that anyone could power up, to one side or another, but the thought of his cousins (any of them) powering up was just something he couldn't quite grasp. None of them seemed the type really."Ah. I didn't think we were putting things into the plot lines of literature, especially the journey's of hero's. They really are all the same, or very similar." And he supposed those plots, as impossible as they were, came to be due to people wanting to write on things which weren't normally possible. Something...exciting and where anything could happen and you could be someone else - like a fairytale.

"I did indeed but I'm also not yet an adult.I fear that if you, and others, call me that too often I'll start to feel older than I am." Though some might say he was older, in behavior, than he really was. He was just mature for his age.

"Mmm, indeed it is. But it is how I like my drinks." Though sometimes he added cherry syrup/flavoring to it as well.

"Tell me now, have you met many others involved in this war?" It was time to really learn about this interesting senshi of pomegranates.

Persephone let out a quiet huff. "Yeah I sort of do that." She admitted. "Really it was meant as a joke?" She reached up to awkwardly muss her hair. "I mean I guess the joke relies on the assumption that I'm the hero here, which seems like a big leap to make." It was still difficult for her to accept that herself; she didn't feel like a brave, strong hero.

She shrugged. "Well, objection noted, won't do it again, Benitoite." As much as it felt like she really wanted to. It seemed strange to not 'sir' a general, though she supposed that if he was just a kid like her underneath it all..

Oh, she was confusing herself again.

"How many others? Um. A few?" She coughed. "On your side, I've met...Sailor Virtus, of the Dark Mirror. And you. And that's kind of it. I know a few other Senshi but...not many." Should she really be confessing that to an enemy? But he didn't feel like an enemy; this felt like...new acquaintances chatting over coffee, or something.

"Do what? Put things into the context of myths?" He asked with soft, almost silent, laughter. "Indeed, it would seem like that - no offence. But your new to this but also a senshi."

Glad that he wouldn't be getting called sir, really calling someone who was eighteen sir felt like too much, he nodded his head in silent thanks. He didn't want to feel too old, he apparently acted old enough as it was.

"Virtus I've met, he's quite nice from what I remember. But just us...I wouldn't suggest looking to meet many of us, not all are kind. But some of us can and will be. You should work toward learning more about your side through meeting more members." Maybe he shouldn't be telling her that. But he had to hope she'd meet more from both sides and dislike her side, see how disorganized they were, and that she would meet more members from his side who she liked. He wanted to seem as polite and kind as possible, even if it meant telling her to meet more on her side.

Persephone just shrugged, taking a sip of her coffee and frowning when she realized she was out. Hm, maybe this wasn't the best plan, she wasn't sure where the nearest trash can was. Ah well, she'd hang onto an empty cup for a while.

She gave him a slow nod. "Oh, meeting people is sort of top on the list right now," she admitted. "I mean, when I was Awakened, I didn't exactly get a lot of help. Poor kitten didn't seem to exactly know her stuff, yanno? I did get a pretty fabu hat out of it though." She sighed heavily. "It's actually kind of frustrating when there are good people on both sides of a conflict. Makes me start worrying I'm on the right side." She tilted her head tot he side briefly. "Though if we want to go off on another tropes tangent, I could point out that wearing lots of dark colors and calling yourselves the Negaverse and the Dark Mirror Court isn't exactly, you know, PR points re: not being obviously evil." Her tone was light, teasing; hopefully he would appreciate this joke a little more than her other one. Or maybe she was dealing with someone without much of a sense of humor.

If that was the case, she was in trouble.
