A glare was levelled upon the red haired woman and her litwick. Cadence had been caught in their trap and she wasn't so nice as to let a grudge go quietly. "You! I've had enough of your tricks! You and your litwick have caused too much trouble this trip."
Branimir stood next to his trainer and narrowed his eyes at the little candle pokemon next to the other woman. He snarled angrily, his hackles raised, as he waited for his cue to attack.

 Juno turned to see one of her trap victims, monologuing at her. Such confidence! She'd love to crush it. "And you're so sure you will be the one to stop me? We shall see. Desdemona!" The candle Pokémon's flame shone bright in anticipation.

Before the other trainer and her Pokémon could react, Desdemona whipped up a Shadow Ball and flung it at Branimir.

Cadence nodded confidently "Of course I'm sure. Branimir and I can handle the likes of you with ease now that there are no tricks to be pulled."
She turned to her pokemon just as the shadow ball missed him due to his quick dodging capabilities. Arcanine were one of the fastest pokemon, or so she'd heard. Pondering for a moment she wondered what happened when a litwick got melted and then, with a wicked gleam in her eyes, she decided to find out. "Branimir, use flamethrower!"HP: 500

The Flamethrower grazed Desdemona, but she was part Fire-type herself. Two could play at that game. She let loose a retaliatory Inferno.

Branimir barked in amusement as the fire attack hit him. Obviously the litwick hadn't a clue about the flash fire ability. If anything she had just helped him. Sure, the fire stung a bit but really, it wasn't much worse than a normal day of training for him. Growling he lunged at the litwick, his whole body covered in flames, a spectacular show of his flame charge attack.HP: 500

Branimir did his best to dodge the shadow ball but it grazed his shoulder. He turned to lick the impact site for a moment but refocused when Cadence called out "Branimir, use Aerial Ace."HP: 400

The attack narrowly sliced Desdemona. She called up a purple-blue Will-O-Wisp to send toward the Arcanine.

Branimir dodged the will-o-wisp attack and growled at the Litwick. He was sick of her tricks. This time he let loose on her with a Swift attack. Yellow and white stars poured from his mouth and shot across the space between them.HP: 400

Desdemona hunkered down and rode out the barrage of stars. When it was over, she, a little worse for wear, sprang up to deliver one more Shadow Ball.

Branimir moved to the left as the shadowball came at him but it grazed his right side as it went by and he growled angrily. A ball of flame lit in his mouth and he aimed for the candle pokemon, as he exhaled the flames shot out at her.
