Jormungandr, the shiny Rayquaza, sped off, purple flames still licking at his side where he had been hit by that pesky Palkia's Dragonbreath. As he twisted and writhed in pain, he climbed higher and higher through the sky. He let out a loud roar that split the clouds in his path and could most definitely be heard for miles. He was blind with rage and pain. He had had it with Escher. This was the last time he would be caught on the painful end of that move!
After a long flight, the cool air finally suppressed the flames. Jor’s temper was still raging, however. He needed to speak to the only being he trusted, other than himself. Where was his brother anyway? It wasn’t like that lazy Rayquaza to go off exploring. “NIDHOGG?!” he bellowed into the sky. If his brother were anywhere close, he certainly would’ve heard the pain-filled roars from earlier. They needed a plan. They had to find these stars that the Victini had spoken of. Surely they possessed power enough to overthrow that pompous Palkia! He HAD to have one of those stars! And he was going to drag his brother around to find one if he had to.

As he raced along through the sky, something that was far from normal for Nidhogg given his lazy nature and desire to spend most of his time sleeping while flying, the Rayquaza continued his search for his shiny brother. No luck as of yet making the worry that he was feeling start to grow. What if that little human b*****d had caught him first? What if he had wanted a matched set and that was why he'd been chasing after Nidhogg? He had no idea if it were the case but he wouldn't be able to relax again until he found Jormungandr and made sure that he was alright and free from those infernal devices that the humans were oft seen using to capture their kind. His fretting came to an end when he heard his own name bellowed across the sky, something that had him looking from side to side before he hurried in the direction that it had come from.
"Seems as though he is alright." He said to himself, well alright but in a mood given the tone in his voice. He wondered what it was that had put his brother into such a mood but given that even Nihogg, who was normally so laid back, was put into a mood today it seemed as though it were going around. Upon spotting the dark form in the sky that was Jor he put on a bit more speed to cover the ground between them. Once he reached the other dragon's side he flew a couple circles around him, inspecting him closely, then found himself starring at the wound he had on his side, "The... Hell...? Who did this?" He asked of Jormungandr, his yellow eyes filling with displeasure at finding his brother in this condition, first thinking him safe only to find that he had been wounded!
He felt his temper rising up in him, "What is it about today? Is it 'Torment the Rayquaza Day' or something?" He muttered to himself, lifting his gaze from the wound to meet his brother's gaze, waiting for a response so he knew who he had to strike down with his Thunder.

"That self-righteous Palkia, Escher!" he snarled in reply. "He thinks me a fool, brother! And I'm fine!" He batted the other Rayquaza away; he didn't care for this fawning, he wasn't a child. He also had more important things to talk about. "There is a power that's been turning Pokemon into human-hybrids! It looks like a star-shaped stone. We need these! They will give us the edge we need." He spoke as if there were a great war brewing. A greedy glint shone in his eye as he seemed to look past his brother. His clawed hands grasped for nothing.
He blinked, coming back to reality, a wild look in his eye now. "Imagine the power, brother! We could show those humans AND those lower Pokemon who should really rule them!" Jor had always been one for more power, but these stars seemed to be making him crazy. He would be losing sleep over these if Nidhogg didn't at least agree to help.

Nidhogg made a bit of a face at the mention of the Palkia, wondering what the fat beast wanted with his brother and why he'd felt the need to take a shot at him. How he wished at the moment he had a clear shot at getting a sucker punch in on the Palkia. Instead of going off to do that though he instead found himself dodging a bit as his brother batted at him to chase him off, seeming as though he didn't want to be fretted over for the moment. He supposed that was fine, he wasn't dying by any stretch of the imagination and it seemed that he hadn't been captured either so, despite it being a rough day all around at least they were free and in one piece, yes? Of course where he was more then content to call it a day, wanting nothing more then take a nice siesta now that the danger had passed his brother wasn't having that, instead the plotting continued.
"Eh? A power that is turning us into human-hybrids?" He asked, cocking his head to one side, then started to laugh, "Good one brother." He said, certain that his shiny twin had been out in the sun far too long or perhaps got a few too many blows to the head from his last run in with the Palkia known as Escher. It wouldn't seem as such though, Jor was continuing on, talking about how 'they' needed the star shaped stones and that 'they' would then give them the edge that they needed. What was it that he was planning at the moment? Nothing good from the sounds of it, that much was sure. Nidhogg rolled slightly, looking as though he was laying on his side in the air, "Do we really want to do that though? I mean... the humans they are so... puny." He said, holding his hands close together as though to show his twin exactly how small those creatures were in comparison to how big the two of them were. He'd seen one of those frail humans just today and really he saw no reason why they should seek out a power that would make them so small.
Rolling again so that he was on his back, "I wonder though... were we to become such a strange being does that mean we would be immune to being caught?" He mused to himself, tail lashing, "You know some brat threw one of those things at me today?! I scared him off by using my Thunder on a tree next to him. You should have heard him scream." He said before he started to laugh once more in amusement.

"I'm not joking around!" Jor fumed when his brother began to laugh at the notion of changing. He threw his hands to the side, his tail thrashing. Nidhogg was the only one he'd let talk to him this way. "They humans may be puny, but we'd still be part us! And yes, I do think it would make us immune to those blasted spheres!" This last statement was a little snide.
He growled at the sound of a human trying to catch the other Rayquaza. "Why do they even bother?" Jor began flying slow circles in the air, done sitting relatively still. "Humans are so pathetic. They think they're the top of the hierarchy of life." He cackled, before continuing with his plotting. "Just imagine, if we found where these stars were coming from, we could decide who would become these hybrids and who remain a lowly Pokemon!" He stopped circling and gave his brother a rather evil look. "And for those that stay in those forms, we could catch them in those horrid balls! Then I'll force that arrogant Palkia to listen to ME!" He laughed manically. It was obvious he had his plans.
He coughed, a little embarrassed by his outburst. "So, yes..." he looked around, making sure no other fliers were nearby, eavesdropping. He lowered his voice and his tail coiled around itself uneasily. "That annoying little Victini said the stars find the Pokemon rather than vice versa, so this might prove to be the biggest problem we'll face." He wrung his hands, hoping his brother might have some insight into all of this.

Nidhogg couldn't help but chuckle at his brother's exclamation, "Jorm, my dear brother, you never joke around. You're going to end up with an ulcer one day if you aren't careful." He scolded his brother before listening to his continued plotting. He shifted himself once more so that he appeared to be sitting up as his brother set to moving around, seeming to be full of too much energy to sit still. He really caused the green Rayquaza to become a bit on the exhausted side just watching him some days. The guy really should try to relax, take in a deep, steadying breath, then have a nice nap with him! One of those thoughts that he would never voice out loud though, not wanting to end up getting a tail to the face.
"Eh? Find the source of the stars? That's an interesting idea." He mused to himself, though a part of him was still a little unsure about the whole turning human thing. The idea of being immune to capture, that was the biggest bonus out there, but he would no longer be his big, beautiful self. Such a waste he thought, crossing his arms over his chest for a moment, giving a long sigh. Blinking a couple times when the Palkia was brought up once more he couldn't help but to chuckle, "That would be an interesting sight indeed, brother. You in your part human form ordering him about as his... what do those idiots call themselves, trainers? Yes, you can be a dragon Pokemon Trainer who is also a dragon. How funny would that be?" He set to laughing at the thought, finding it more then a little funny, the idea of a dragon training dragons. Who better to do so those though? As those with the most power among the various Pokemon if anyone should be a trainer it would be those akin to Gods, not some stupid human. How those creatures grated on him in a way little else did.
At the mention that the stars found the Pokemon instead of the other way around he could help but to be impressed, "Surely then it can't be some average, run of the mill sort that is giving out the stars. Do you think it's someone on par with us?" He asked his brother, curious as to who Jormungandr thought was distributing such strange gifts to the Pokemon in this area.

Jor gave his brother a nasty look at the mention of ulcers. He really didn't see how his brother could relax at a time like this... or most of the times that the other Rayquaza decided to. Really, how was he so lazy? He was thankful for the subject change.
"It'd have to be, brother!" he replied to Nidhogg's thought about who'd been passing out the stars. "It's not like it could be some stupid little Luvdisc!" He snorted at the very thought. "No, no, no, it must be a Legend like us." He grinned, if he liked anything about the humans it was that they called Pokemon like his brother and himself "Legendary." There was definitely a nice ring to that word; but it did come with it's annoyances. With being so rare and powerful, they tended to be much sought out targets for trainers. Luckily, the two of them had been successful thus far in avoiding being caught.
His gears shifted, a clawed hand coming to rest on his chin. "Stars... who would be using stars?" He floated back and forth in the air, thinking this over. His initial thought would've been Arceus, the most powerful Pokemon, but Escher said that he'd been changed too. And by the sounds of it, it hadn't been necessarily planned by the Arceus.

Nidhogg blinked a couple times then just started to laugh in a manner that made it hard for the poor Rayquaza to even breath, "Ah... ahhahaha... magical Luvdisc and... ahahahahaha..." By the time he finally got himself under control there were tears of mirth in his eyes and was completely of breath. That had to be the best joke that his brother had ever told, though he doubted highly that it was actually a joke on the part of Jormungandr. If his brother had his way, and feet, he would probably spend his day kicking Luvdisc and taking note of the various distances he was able to kick them as though it were a sporting event.
"Ahh... I needed that." He said, tail swishing, feeling as though the incident with the obnoxious trainer had never happened now given his mood was back to his normal degree of happiness. All that was needed now to make the day perfect was a nap though given his brother was still around that was out of the question. Alright, focus, focus... what were they talking about? Oh, right! The one with the stars, "Let's see... there is always... Deoxys, isn't that one from space? It doesn't seem that one's MO though... hrm... I'd say a boat load of Clefairy, they are from the moon I hear, but they aren't exactly Legendary..." He seemed to 'hum' and 'hah' over it before finally snapping his fingers, "AH!" Wait! He had it.
A grin on his face he said, "I know what we need! We need to find someone that was changed and shake them down for information!" He announced to his brother in an excited manner, as though it were the best plan ever!

The shiny Rayquaza's expression went flat and he stared at his brother as Nidhogg laughed til near asphyxiation. His tail swished back and forth like an irritated cat's and he crossed his arms. "You done?" he hissed. It was a rhetorical question and he was happy his brother decided to finally help and think of who or what could be sending the stars to the Pokemon. A pleased smile finally spreading across his reptilian face.
"I don't believe it'd be Deoxys either." He brought a clawed hand to his chin again, once more in thought. "And Clefairy wouldn't have enough power. No, no, it has to be a Legendary!"
The smiled faltered. "Great idea, brother. Tell me, do you know any Pokemon's that's been changed?" It was a very snide comment. He knew of Pokemon that'd been changed, but he didn't personally know any except the little Cryogonal that hung out with Escher. Shaking down that kid was out of the question! He absently rubbed his side where the Palkia had hit him earlier with the purple flames.

"Erk..." Nidhogg gave a pause, lashed his tail, then shook his head, "Yeah... I suppose not, not as though I actually go around seeking out the company of humans when I head down the the ground for berries." It was the only time he went down to the surface, something that he was debating on doing only at night from now on to avoid idiot trainers that wanted to try to catch him. Rolling over onto his back he scratched his chest, looking thoughtful. So they had two fragments of a plan but not a real, fully realized plan quite yet. What to do, what to do...?
After a while he just gave a shrug of his shoulders, "I suppose the best thing to do is for us to just seek out one of these changed Pokemon. Surely they can't be that hard to find, right? He look around, find one, catch it, and BAM we get our information!" It was as simple as that! Or so his confidence in the idea would lead a person to believe. All they had to do was search, find a changed Pokemon, and force that creature to lead them onward toward their destiny that was finding and capturing the Pokemon that had such a great power at his beck and call. While he couldn't say that he was all that interested in catching the Pokemon himself he figured if it made Jormungandr happy then it was worth all the effort. Making his brother happy after all wasn't a very easy to handle sort of task after all.
"Alright, so do we want to go about this together? Or split up for our search?" He asked of his brother in a curious manner.

Jormungandr was still lost in thought, rubbing his side, while his brother posed the question of how to look for a changed Pokemon. It wasn't until he noticed there were several minutes of silence that he came out of his reverie and looked at his brother. "Huh?" He blinked a few times before realizing what Nidhogg had asked. "Um, well..." he trailed off. He didn't really want to split up, what with being a target for trainers and Escher alike. But, on the other hand, if they split up, they could cover more ground faster. It came down to whether he deemed safety a bigger priority than finding the stars.
After a long mental battle between his fear and his greedy, his cowardice won out. "I believe we should stick together." He cleared his throat, coughing into his hand. Adding, as to not sound like the coward he was, "You know, so if we run into any trainers, we'll be able to escape without having to lift a finger." His eyes shifted from side-to-side, a telltale sign he was lying.
"So!" he clapped his hands, then rubbed them together. He was getting his mind off of his fears. "Where shall we start? I'm sure the city has quite a few of those changed Pokemon, but it'll be harder to hide there. We could try one of the forests, I suppose. There are few humans there." His voiced flattened and his expression became unamused. "Don't even mention the mountains, I'm nixing that idea right now."

"Sticking together it is then." It wasn't too often that they actually did that, Nidhogg's inherient laziness tending to annoy his brother more often then not. It would be kind of nice to be able to just hang out with him though he thought to himself before the other mentioned that they would do it so that they could escape any trainers they ran across more easily. He tilted his head to the side then nodded though he could tell his brother was lying. That lie made him quite curious, wondering what it was that he was really thinking about at the moment but decided he would press the issue. Instead he would go along with his brother's plan hoping it would buy him some points in the darker Rayquaza's eyes.
When his brother's hands clapped together he came out of his thoughts, "Mmm... where to start..." He murmured, listening as his brother quickly nixxed the idea of them going to the nearby towns, to the forests, and the mountains, "Well, if you don't want to go to any of those places then I suppose that leaves the fields and the various water sources?" He suggested, deciding to throw out the two places that he hadn't already say no to because at least that way he would be offering up an idea. He didn't want his brother getting all huffy because he wasn't helping after all. Rolling over once more he swished his tail in a thoughtful way, "Mmm... I suppose if we look where there is water we can always swim along while looking for someone that has obtained their star. We might not be noticed if we are hidden underwater." He said, though there was that rare chance they might be caught on a fishhook... though he could only imagine the terror on the fish man's face when he realized what he'd done. Just the mere thought of it made him chuckle.
Turning amused eyes to his brother he waited to see what it was that he thought of his plans. Not the best in the world but given that they were searching for a needle in a haystack any plan was better then no plan he supposed.

"Ugghhh!" Jor roared, twisting upon himself once more. He wished there was more that he could go off of; where the stars originated, what they looked like, what sort of power they radiated. SOMETHING. This was all very frustrating and wasn't liking it one bit.
He listened intently to his brother's ideas, though he was still coiling around in the air. "I said the forests are fine, I just don't want to go to the mountains or the cities." he corrected his brother flatly. He sighed, at least Nidhogg had paid some attention, which was more than he could say most of the time.
His eyes flashed with a thought. "What's that little Legendary Pokemon that grants wishes? Perhaps we could go see him and get our questions answered!" He was thinking more of wishing for the knowledge of where to find a star or ten, the thought that Ialu was the one "sending" the stars never crossed his mind. "Yes," a large, devious grin spreading across his scaly face. "Yes, I think we have a plan, dear brother! Let us go pay a visit to that little thing. I do believe he still lives in the Wishmaker's Woodland." Why wouldn't he? The place was named for him, long ago. A snarl coming to the dark Rayquaza's face; he should have something named for him!, not that little Jirachi! He took a breath, though, reminding himself that as soon as they found the power of these stars, they, no, he would rule of the whole of Gaia.
"Come!" he roared, a smirk on his face. "Let's go!" And with that he led his brother off towards the woodland area in search of the Jirachi known as Ialu.

Nidhogg listened as his brother went about plotting, talking about where they would go, who they would hassle for information, then laughed, "Go after the Wishmaker, huh? Makes sense, it would be easy since he is rather tiny." He said, no reason why he wouldn't be easily intimidated and scared off by two massive dragons, that was for sure! As it seemed that their path was set, with his brother turning to race off in that direction the green Rayquaza gave a yawn and hurried to follow along after him, "Alright, alright, let's go." He agreed, though not likely loud enough for the excitable Jorm to hear him.
Not terribly far away, not given how fast they were able to fly at least, Ialu was walking down to the river south of the cabin that he was living in, a bucket in hand, whistling as he floated along. He was on his way to get some water for the flowers that he'd planted, needing to work on watering them, oblivious to the fact that a pair of dragon brothers were coming his way. As he reached the water he lowered down to the ground, bending down to scoop up a bucket of water, then gave a wave at the Magikarp that were peeking at him through the water, "Hello there!" He chirped out a greeting, then blinked as a reflection on the surface caught his attention, "Hrm?"
Lifting his head he looked up at the massive pair of dragons that were floating there in front of him, "Oh, wow! A couple of Rayquaza in my neck of the woods, how exciting! Hello!" He said, lifting a hand to wave at them happily, "Nice weather today, huh? Though I suppose that is your doing?" He knew that they were able cause clear skies with their mere presence alone, something quite amazing if you asked him. It was what let it be so nice today he guessed, which made it a good day to work in the garden, "I thank you for the good weather, Rayquazas."

Jormungandr was unsure if the little Jirachi was patronizing him about the weather or not. The overly cheerful Ialu was already rubbing the shiny Rayquaza the wrong way. A snarl curled his reptilian lips and his tail end trashed while keeping his torso deathly still. The fact that Ialu had been changed by a star as well did not escape his eyes either.
"How?" he growled and glared at Ialu; all tact had gone from his mind. "How are all of these Pokemon changing? Tell me!" His normally short temper was getting the better of him already. "I've heard of them finding stars of some sort. Where are they coming from? Is someone sending them? And more importantly, how does one acquire one of these stars?" His golden eyes narrowed. All sorts of ill thoughts went through his devious mind about how he'd "punish" the Jirachi is he didn't get the answers he wanted. Jor was dangerous enough without being upset, Arceus help Ialu at this point.
Once he realized that Ialu was genuinely thanking them, however, his attitude would do a one-eighty. The quickest way to Jor's good side is play to his god complex.
