The year is 10XX AZ (after zombies) and one about a hundred humans in total are the survivors. The human survivors are trying to survive, food is still sacre and there is only so much that isn't much supplies that isn't contaminated with the virus.
The humans survivors have gathered to the center of a large area in which they dubbed, "Safe Haven."

No (Not Yet) Some Bio: She was a child when the zombies first started to attack. She's been through gathering group top gathering group and they were all killed by zombies. Since she was able to use weapons, she went on her own for a long time, not getting attached to anyone. Pic:  Name: Ever Wolfe DOB: September 8th Age: 25 Occupation: Midwife, Healer Pregnant? Yes - 6 months along Some Bio: She was a survivor while pregnant with the love of her life but he died protecting her. She now serves as a midwife/healer for 'Safe Haven'.

((RP Starts now. Anyone who wants to post a profile, post it and start right after it! ^_^))
Ash walks to what looked like a safe zone. She had been on the road for a few years, living off nature and whatever she could scrap up and eat. The only reason that she was there was to get some supplies and to get some food.
She was walking down the road, noticing that the civilans were starting to smile once more, something she hadn't seen in a long time. It had been a while since she'd been around others that weren't riddled with decaying flesh and oozing with slim.

Efren looked around. He walked up and down the main street. He was hoping that someone could call him out for his services. He hoped to make a trade of his services to get some good or service of equal. He noticed another hunter, this one a girl, walking up and down looking around. She must have been looking for work. He knew his chances to find something today would be a little harder.

Ash looks over and sees a dark haired guy. "'Scuse me, could you help me? Where's the market? I'm in need of supplies and medinice." She asks, placing a hand on her hip as she waited for his answer. He wasn't bad looking and Ash could tell that he's a hunter. She knew she needed to watch he step because he could turn and kill her if provoked.

Since then she has trained herself to hunt and fight. She shows no emotion because she is afraid that if she does show it will bring back memories that she had worked so hard to put away.

Efren looked at the woman. She was looking for goods. He could at least tell her which way to go. "The market is over there." He pointed to a small group of stalls and shops. It wasn't very big, but for all he knew that this was the biggest town in the world.

Maya woke up and rebandaged her thigh. It was starting to look better. She then got dress and headed outside to practice. This was her normal every day routine. She tried to stay way from people because she was afraid that someone would make her smile or cry and it would bring on memories that she had worked hard to put into the back of her mind. On the way to the area where she practiced she passed by Ash and Efren. She really hoped that they did not see her. If one of them out of the blue tried to attack her she was already ready to defend herself with her katannas. Her hand was already on one of them. She was not paying attention to where she was going and her injured leg hit a mail box which made the wound reopen a little bit. Maya's solution of course was to tie the bandage tighter.

Ash thanks the male and started on her way to the shops, from her bag, she pulls out a list of some cash and a list of items she would need to get, she didn't even notice the other girl limping until she hit her leg against the mail and her eyes widen at how someone could be that idiotic.
She goes over, "you okay?"

Maya showed no emotion when the girl asked if she was okay. "I am fine. I feel no pain." She nodded her head in greetings towards Efren. She had seen him around looking for work. He was after all a hunter just like her. She felt though that any good hunter should train once in a while to imporve their skills cause after all no one was perfect not even her. "Excuse me I am behind on my schedule." She then starts to walk off. As always Maya, after passing Efren, had to fight back her emotions. She could never understand what she was feeling and as always fighting it back was the hard part. She kept telling herself that emotions were bad and that they would bring back the bad memories.

The man noticed the girls. He didn't want to bother with them and turned his back and walked towards some stalls that he hadn't asked yet. To him girls who were hunters were nothing but trouble. He finally got some luck after asking the stalls. He could now grab his bow and go off on a trek.

Maya went off to practice. Efren knew nothing about her or if she really caused that much trouble. In truth Maya always stayed out of trouble her constant practicing was to thank for that. By the time she was done practicing her thigh was trobbing though the pain was not bad. She sat down under a tree and closed her eyes. She opened her eyes after a few minutes and got up. She had a job of hunting down and killing some rats who had been infected by the virus. She stared to head in the direction that Efren had gone in and she did not even know that he did.

Damien has grown up watching everyone he loved and cared for either become a monster or die. To many this would have driven them mad, but he was different. Instead, Damien forced himself to learn how to build homes that would withstand and maybe even barriers that would protect the people in case another invasion ever happened again. He is quite skilled but is always seeking to better his skill.

There were those in the safe haven that could hunt, those that could scavange, thouse that could heal and those that could cook. All Damien knew how to do was hammer a nail. Though with his help, and some of the other people, they build a protective barrier around the city. Though this didn't satisfy him, the walls had to be stronger!
So he would spend most of his days hammering away trying to make the protective barrier a little stronger. Some say that he was a bit eccentric, other say that it was because he had lost so much that he was this way, though Damien just wanted to protect.
He tried to stay away from people. What if he fell in love? Or someone fell in love with him? What if they had children!? He didn't want to loose anyone, and didn't want to experience the pain of shooting the people he cared about when they turned.
Damien had shot his parents after they both had become zombies, the pain still hurt him deeply but he had to survive. For years he ran befriending other survivers and ending up shooting them when they turned. Enough was enough! Then oddly, the zombies vanished. The air seemed to slowly become clean again and the earth was healing. Was it over?
He really didn't know for sure, until he had found this place. It was a small community before, but now everyone had a home. He built them, along with a bigger clinic for the doctors and nurses, along with a bigger kitchen for the cooks, and barracs for the hunters to train and the gatherers to practice. Damien had helped build them all, but it wasn't enough! No he had to build it stronger and tougher! He just had to!
