Those that followed Walpurgis fell into pitfalls or became prey to string shots and thunder waves coming from some hidden Pokémon in the leaves above. Quick shadows could be seen as the Pokémon employed for the mission jumped about from tree to tree, attempting to do a thorough job. RESCUERS - Success will nab you points for non-rockets. - You must have a short RP response with your roll, either successfully or not. - Roll 1D4. If you roll a 4, you have successfully rescued someone! - Traps that have a chance for others to get stuck in them as well-- if you rolled a 1, you're stuck in the trap too! However, if you roll 3 OR 4, you have saved someone! - You are limited to one try per person, per trap. If there's two people stuck in a trap, you get to try to save each person once. - This trap CAN trap others! - YOU CANNOT BE RESCUED UNTIL YOU POST IN THIS THREAD.

Lizzie should've known that was a trap, but the oppurtunity to catch that masked guy was just too to give up. A precisely aimed Thunder Wave shocked Psywater, and to the lesser extent the trainer that was riding him. The Lugia let out an ear splitting cry before crashing into the trees and to the ground. Lizzie was thrown off of his back and, by sheer misfortune, was crushed by her own Pokemon who rolled on top of her.
She couldn't reach her Pokeball to recall Psywater. Psywater was paralyzed and was in no shape to move. Stupid, stupid, stupid. She saw some other people chase after the Rocket Grunt and hoped that they were doing better. Hopefully other people heard Psywater's call for help and would-be rescuers would be here soon.

Keria tried to slow down as she saw the lugia in front of her crash, not that it matter the ground under her gave way. It was obvious she had fallen into a pit fall. She let out of cry of pain as she hit her head when she landed, why did she have to land on bruise the cubone gave her. Trying to stand up the girl called out to the other trainer. "You okay up there?" She hoped that the girl wasn't crushed to death by the large pokemon.

Osmond's copper instincts were not on the ball than. He shouldn't gave chased after the alleged Rocket grunt. He shouldn't have. Yet, he did, and subsequently met the punishment for his ill-tested intuition. Marlo and him were paralyzed and fell to the dirt stiff as bricks. Huffing, the cop chagrined.
"Never . . . again. Never again . . . am I . . . taking a vacation!"

George knew this was a trap and as he went rushing into the trees isn't wasn't long before a pokemon jumped out from behind a tree. "Oh well this just figures" He definitely knew something was going to happen, he needed to solve this and get everyone say but at the moment he wasn't going to be able to do much of anything. He got nailed by a Thunder Wave rendering him unable to move laying on the ground.
Just perfect, I am going to have to get an electric type. This would have been really handy for stopping that guy before he even ran into the woods. George couldn't help but think about everything while just laying there. He was glad he put his gun away otherwise it was likely to have gone off and possibly hurt someone.

"I'm fine." Lizzie replied, though she wasn't sure if that question was directed to her. She couldn't even see the person in question and assumed that she was behind her. Where she couldn't see, because a big fat bird was blocking the way. "Is everyone else ok?" She could hear some other people saying something, falling to the ground, etc. But again, she couldn't see anyone from her position.

Cara huffed and puffed. "Not again!" She yelled, seriously pissed off. She had fallen for it yet again. Something had told her in the back of her mind that following Walpurgis was a bad idea, but being an officer, even a rookie one, meant chasing the bad guy to catch 'im. Cara stood up and dusted herself off, glaring up and around at the quick and shadowy pokemon hiding in the canopy of the trees. She looked over at the girl who had asked if everyone was alright. She nodded, "Yeah, I'm good. Banged and bruised up some more but nothing serious."

Zak found himself at the edge of the forest, carefully he entered, it was then he saw Psywater upon the ground, at its trainer Lizzie under him. He quickly rushed to their aid and began pushing the stunned Lugia, trying to get it off of the girl. He was sucessful enough to push the Lugia off so that its trainer was able to reach the pokemon's pokeball and recall it.

The purple haired trainer sighed in relief. "I'm glad everyone is okay so far, The Lugia looked heavy. I hope the pokemon don't start to attack with more than just the paralleling attacks. Does anyone know how many of us got stuck?"

George was laying on his back a short distance away, "Yea I am good over here. Can't move right now but I am good otherwise. When I find that b*****d, I am shooting him twice, one in each leg. Then he won't be able to run again." He was not happy, he knew it was a bad idea but how were they supposed to get out of this. He was sure Osmond, Cara and Shaun were not TR members now but he was not sure about many other people.

He was just about to ask the same question when Keria has asked it. He followed her voice to where she had fallen in a pit. The last time he tried to help another out of a pit he failed, but he wouldn't let that keep him down. He would try to help as many as he could. He reached down offering his hand to her to help Keria out of the pit. Once his hand was grabbed he was able to sucessfully pull her out. Two down how many more to go?

The weight on Lizzie's back suddenly shifted and without wasting anytime she reached for the Psywater's Pokeball and called him back inside. Now that she was free, she stood up, but almost fell back down due to her sore body. Having a giant creature crash down on her back gave her bruises and aches everywhere. But she was able to identify her rescuer and gave a nod of gratitude.
"Thank you." She said before heading towards where she heard Keria's voice. She wasn't surprised to find a trainer in pitfall, after all the crazy things that were happening.
"I should be fine enough to get back to the camp. But I'm not leaving anyone here with that lunatic running around. And I think there's five of us. Well, six if you count someone that showed up to rescue us." Lizzie went out to grab a big stick that was conveniently laying around and held it down for Keria to grab.
It looked like her rescuer had beaten her to it though. And then she lost her balance and fell into the hole herself. Today really wasn't her day. Or yesterday for that matter...

"Thanks" Keria smiled as Zak helped her out. Steadying her self the best she could she turned towards lizzie, Yeah I don't like the idea of leaving anyone with that creep around either. She shuddered at the though of what he might to do them. Turing back she grabbed the stick lizzie had and tried to help the girl that had fallen into the same pitfall.

"Cara that you?" he questioned when he reconized a voice. Actually he recognized a few voices, at least another had been trapped with him in the crevice. "Stay where you are I'm coming Cara" After reaching Cara he was able to help her up.
