Unless you’re a priestess, Eydis really could care less about your opinion. Oh, it’s not because her’s is better, but because she does not give a ******** about your views. You can love her or hate her, but she doesn’t care. She does her work and by god she’ll do it well. She tends to try her best not to cause a fight but really, she ends up making them anyway. While it certainly means she can come off as dismissive if not outright rude, it does allow her to brush off insults or ideas that others might not have value. Opinions mean s**t to her. Unless you’ve got the proof to back it up, she couldn’t be bothered.

She does fret however to the opinions of priestesses, if only because she interprets it as that she might be failing them.

Critical: Hard working, devoted to tasks given to her Eydis isn’t so much a perfectionist as someone who will look for ways to improve. Perfect doesn’t exist in her mind so much as a constant need for improvement. In herself, in others, she looks for ways to improve and become better, greater. She’ll happily inform others of where they come up short. She also expects others to do the same for her.

Compassionate: While she may be stubborn, and lacking in care towards others, she truly believes she is doing her best and is helping the clan as a whole. She has full faith in her clan, in her priestess (should she have one), and in the fact they are doing good for the horsemen. Her faith is rather unshakable, and only something rather bizarre and extreme might make her question it. Her passion doesn’t end with faith for the whole, as when she takes up a cause she will stand by it and very rarely back down.

Socially inept:
Feelings. What are those and how does she handle them? Eydis was determined from a young age to become something. She wanted to make a name for herself but as she grew up she found herself not forming bonds easily with others. Her ambition yet lack for power separated her from others in a way. She tries to make ‘friends’ but just finds herself lacking a strong emotional connection to them. When she does get feelings for others she’s not quite sure what to do about them. Ignore them? Feed into them? Mentally deconstruct them and try to get rid of them? Eydis doesn’t know how to react to emotions presented to her at well. Fundamentally she understands what is happening and what she is supposed to respond with, but the feeling and emotions behind the reactions are not present.

Confident: She believes in herself. Even if she knows she might come up short, she is 100% positive she can work through it, that she can become better. Mostly? ******** you. She’s great. Deal with it.
