Hobbies:Broadway Musicals - Strange I know, but Dani has this love for Musicals. It all started with Cats, as she saw herself as Rum Tum Tugger. Why? Simple, she did the opposite of what anyone asked her. But she fell in love, and started making herself a collection of cds based off all the musicals she could find. Currently she has about fifteen, she wants more, but at the moment she knows better. She'll just have to wait to expand this collection.
Fashions Trends – Dani likes to try and stay on the forefront of fashion trends. She can often be seen trolling fashion blogs and pouring over magazines trying to get a feel for the “next big thing.” She always keeps an eye out for the latest new thing in order to be as big of an early adopter as possible. It’s not usual to see her rotate through three or four different fads before finally settling on what is actually the new “thing” that month.
Tennis – Dani’s choice sport to keep herself in shape. Since tennis requires her whole body to move around the court, Dani considers it her full body workout. She also enjoys the pace of the game – it’s quick and requires a lot of skill to be played well. She’s by no means a pro – but she’s not slouch either. She’s got a pretty good serve and backhand – but she’s working on her forward swing to try and improve her game.
Virtues:Proud: Dani has pride in herself and it shows in the way she carries herself as well as how she interacts with others. This pride is what keeps her going day in and day out - never allowing her to give up in anything she does. She constantly tells herself that she can do things that she normally shouldn't be able to do - and is more than willing to take risks to get there. Her pride propels her forward to do great things even when she is up against the ropes.
Social: Dani is a very social creature, talking with any and everyone she meets - even if it is just polite smalltalk. She's not above chatting with a stranger on the street or on the bus, even if it's about the weather or local goings on. Luci considers it only polite to be social-able, as well as filling in that gaping hole of where her family used to be. She dislikes rude people, but will socialize with them if she lacks any other option for socialization.
Charismatic: Dani was gifted with a silver tongue and quick wits. She is able to talk herself out of trouble, and when talking doesn't suffice - she is able to pout her way out of trouble. She's is able to make herself seem vulnerable at times, then strong at others. While she can be very charismatic she can at times be lacking a bit in tact and can sometimes come off as a bit overly direct.
Every cloud has a silver lining: Dani believes that no matter how bad things can be, that there is always a bright side to a situation. This keeps her going even when things are super tough, because no matter how bad things are right then, she knows eventually they'll get better. This faith in the future helps keep her spirits high even when life is pulling the carpet out from under her.
Flaws:Hubris: Pride comes before a fall, and Dani has pride in spades. Her hubris makes it almost impossible to reach out and ask for help should she need it, often making life harder for herself despite the fact that all she'd have to do is ask for help. Her pride blinds her to offers of help, often refusing help even if she knows she needs it. She feels she needs to do everything on her own - no matter what.
Overexerts: Dani doesn't know when to quit, and often pushes herself to the breaking point and then some. She never really knows she's doing it, often just pushing herself without even thinking about it.
Tactless: Dani can often be rather upfront and tactless at times. She often says things they way they are - calling things as she sees them. She can come off as rather rough around the edges at times - but this is tempered by her natural charisma. That's not to say that she doesn't upset people sometimes - but she can usually control her tactlessness - but eventually people get upset by her sometimes brutal lack of tact.
Rose colored glasses: For all the faith Dani has that things will turn out better - it can sometimes blind her to the actual risks and trouble she is currently in. She sees the world through a rose tint - nothing is wrong, everything will be just fine. So what if her mom disowned her? So what if she's crashing at her Aunt's house and doesn't have her own place - things will get better right? Her refusal to accept that things are going poorly in certain areas makes it hard for her to see the world for what it really is - sometimes with very negative results.
