WAH! WHAT IS THAT THING. IT JUST CAME OUT OF THE BUSHES LOOKING LIKE IT KILLED ITS FELLOW KIN AND WORE IT LIKE A HAT.

Shaun was about to go get more water when a pokemon burst out of the bushes. It didn't look too friendly, either, and started to growl at the group. Not a nice pokemon like the Teddiursa, then. Startled, Shaun said, "Salvo, Razor Leaf."
His Tropius was unprepared for the sudden order and quickly shot some leaves, but they were poorly aimed and went wide of the mark. However, the Houndour shot a burst of fire at Salvo and had much better aim.

Arwen jumped when the Houndour suddenly appeared and tried to back away. It could've been his imagination, but it looked vicious, and hungry, too. Suddenly, he wasn't so sure if he should've wished for fire.
Whistling sharply, he called Parthenius over and ordered an attack.
Current HP: 300/300

Koorie had been relaxing, still puzzled by her vulpix's strange antics when suddenly the houndor attacked the group! Grabbing the nearest weapon (a nice hard rock) she threw it at the pokemon, then searched for the next thing to defend herself with.
As she looks around, the wild pokemon attacked her, pushing to the ground and biting her shoulder before it lept away as others attacked it.

On a second look at the pokemon, Shaun realized that it was part Fire-type, and Grass attacks wouldn't be much good. Also that the Fire attacks would be pretty bad for Salvo, so they should probably try and keep away if he got hurt much more. Still, he ought to at least try and help keep this pokemon away. "Salvo, try a Rock Smash this time," he instructed. Naturally, he also pulled out a camera and set it to a fast shutter time and turned on the ultraviolet, to better be able to capture the moving pokemon at low light.
Salvo took aim carefully, then ran up to the wild hound and stomped it hard. He was bitten for his trouble, and backed away to get out of range before he could get attacked again.

Keria jumped up as a houndor came out of no where and attacked them group.
Voltron attempted to attack the Villein but the others attack hit and the little emogla was sent flying.

With a quick glance to asses the danger around her boy, Cloud followed when the Poochyena was called to battle. The dark colored hound was already attacking the campers. This she could deal with. She attacked.

Seeing that his last attack had hit pretty well, Salvo moved in for another strike. Unfortunately, the Houndour was far more nimble that the lumbering sauropod and it darted out of the way. Before Salvo could turn to try again, the Houndour fired off another blast of fire that made Salvo bellow in pain. A moment later he began to topple over, totally spent.
Shaun had been trying to photograph the battle, but was surprised that Salvo had fallen so quickly. His pokemon must have been more tired than he expected. He fished out his Tropius's pokeball and recalled him before he could be hurt any more.

Lizzie was just about to leave to search for food when a Houndour came out of nowhere and attacked the campers. Well this wasn't going to do wasn't it? She swore as the Houndour turned its sight towards her and she sent out the Lugia that she had recalled earlier that day.
"Psywater! Take it out!" The large bird Pokemon appeared in a flash of red light and let out a stream of water to knock it away from Lizzie. Though wet and dazed from the super effective attack, it launched an Ember attack that singed some feathers off of Psywater before it turned its attack towards other Pokemon.

Walpurgis sighed as he saw the houndour. The assembled trainers were seeming to be no match for it, which was nothing but beneficial for his mission. However, on the off chance they defeated it, Johannes Faust would be cast into suspicion for not getting involved. Such misfortune.
Leaping down from the tree, Walpurgis spun around, delivering a kick into the houndour's side. The houndour sent a jet of flame after him, singing his leg. Walpurgis rolled out of the way.

Mortimer huffed and stared at the houndour. No way was he going to let him hurt his beloved d**k, or Sebastian.
"Herbert, use tackle!" he called out, pointing towards the other pokemon.
The growlithe obeyed and ran towards the creature as fast as he could. He was able to jump upon the pokemon, but unfortunately, the other decided to bite his leg, hard, wounding him.
Herbert: 100/300 HP

Houndour's HP: 2100/3200 Auron's HP: 200/300 Doyle was quick to move to attack the Houndour but it seemed many other trainers were as well. He looked at Auron and nodded. It wouldn't matter if he was hit. "Auroz use Counter." He called out. The disguised zorua rushed in and lashed out after another pokemon had been hit. However Auron was hit quickly after that and he was unable to keep up his disguise revealing his true form.

Parthenius rushed to her human's aid and struck at her foe with a blow powerful enough to shatter rocks. Sadly, the close contact resulted in a powerful retaliation, and she slunk back quickly towards Herbert for a temporary break from battling.
