Biography: Aveluthara was born into an endangered lineage of Dragon Riders, known as Dragoons. Until the age of 12, she was schooled in the knowledge of dragons and learned how to communicate with them; she also picked up the skill rather easily. After 12, she started weapons training. She became most proficient with the lance, which is the weapon that Dragoons are known for. At the age of 16, Aveluthara was able to search for and tame her own dragon. She had set her sights on a dark dragon, a difficult dragon to tame, but was able to acquire her beast; hence, the title "Dark Dragoon". Along with it, she found the heavy lance, Bahamut's Pierce and immediately began to train with it, along with her original lance. This is how she became proficient in dual-wielding. At the age of 21, Aveluthara was dragged into a 5-year war by a clan of rival Dragon Riders; a clan that was, at the time, larger and more powerful than the Dragoons.
xxxxx During a battle, an attack received by her and her dragon, Kamori, caused them to crash into a mountainside. Upon awakening, Aveluthara and Kamori found themselves in a cavern with the carcass of another Dark Dragon, the treasure it was guarding being Targaryen's Straight. She gives up her original lance for the weapon, then returns outside with her dragon, only to find out that her fellow Dragoons were annihilated.
