The sun had just begun to rise when Leonora woke up and was looking forward to her morning yoga. Normally, she would just do it in her living room, but today was one of the few days where she just wanted to get out. Sure, her house always smelled clean and was spotless, but some fresh, crisp air would do her well.
Leonora got out of bed, got dressed, and rolled up her yoga mat. Slipping on her shoes, she headed out the door. The morning was still cold despite the sun shining brightly then. She took a deep breath and started walking, eventually arriving at the park.
She looked around and saw that there was a few people around, but for the most part, quiet. Leonora found a nice spot warmed by the sun and rolled out her mat. Taking off her sandals and stepping on the mat, she started to feel relaxed. Leonora closed her eyes and took a deep breath, ready to begin her routine.

Grant was up early this morning, just working on himself and seeing on TV that doing things like running in the morning would make him more healthy. Apparently, anyway, as that was what all the really fit people in movies and television shows seemed to do, and if it worked for them then he was more than willing to give it a try.
He did not mind it, really. Getting up early was fine, and the rabbits got an early breakfast which they seemed to like. They were all getting much more cuddly and friendly, and he wondered if it was because of the cold weather or if they were just getting more and more used to him.
He liked to think it was because they loved him as much as he loved them.
Jogging along, he noticed someone setting out a mat. It was a bit early for a picnic, and he padded toward her at a less than useful pace for his goals, really. He was not sure what was so hard about this jogging thing: he wasn't even tired. True, he sometimes used his heelies to scoot downhill, but there was no harm in that was there?
"Are you having a breakfast picnic?"

Leonora didn't look up as she heard steps coming towards her. She had thought at first it was just another jogger passing by, but when she heard a male voice. Her eyes were still close as she cracked a smile. Leonora couldn't remember if anyone else had asked her that, but she was new in town. "Maybe this is just how people break the ice here?"
"Nope, though that does sound good," Leonora said as she opened her eye and looked up. "I'm here for my morning yoga session! I find it a good way to start a long day! I usually do it at home, but it felt nice this morning and it's my first time at this park!"
She held out a hand to him. "I'm Leonora. I just moved here not too long ago for a new job. Completely excited about it too! You're actually the first person I've talked to outside my job!" Leonora laughed, half happy, half wondering why she was talking so much. This time of the day she was normally very quiet until she was sone with her morning yoga. And maybe some food.

"Yoga?"
Virtus had seen that before. It looked pretty interesting and kinda fun, from what he could tell from the TV. Which was of course his main source of information about the world he lived in. Sure, he liked to go around and explore but he often got things wrong, or was so busy being nice and helping people that he forgot to take notes about the things around him.
He kind of made up the way the world worked.
"The park is nice, and the fresh morning light is probably really good for you!" He smiled brightly and nodded his head. "My name is Grant! It's nice to meet you Leonore. I've never heard that name before, and it's pretty!"
"What is your job? How come you don't talk to people when you're not at it?" He looked very puzzled.

"It's a form of meditation. It's really calming and it can help strengthen muscles depending on what you do. I guess you can think of it as a form of exercise for those whom don't really have high stamina or a desire to touch weights and other stuff like that!" Leonora knew that yoga wasn't for everyone but the working out and feeling at peace at the same time was why she stuck with yoga.
Leonora was really happy that her first meeting with a Destiny City resident was really friendly. She had been half afraid that people here would be hostile and unfriendly like where she was from. "I definitely am glad I came out tonight, or I wouldn't have had the chance to meet you today!"
"I'm a massage therapist. A friend that went to massage therapy school with me lives here just started a new place. There's a few more days of downtime before the grand opening!" It was clear in Leonora's tone of voice that she was filled with excitement.
She wore a broad smile when Leonora answered the question. "Well, most people come in for these," she said as she wiggled her fingers. "some people are more pushy than others, but my hands are magic!" She winked. Truth was, most of the people she had seen recently were just possible sponsors and she didn't say much so she didn't ruin the chance they might have for more money.

"That sounds really nice!"
He was all for strengthening himself, after all. His muscles especially. He needed it, anything he could get, really. He wondered if he should pick up something like this to help supplement his training regiment.
He would have to rework his schedule.
"Massage therapist! That's awesome! Is that a difficult trade? I can't imagine learning how to do stuff like that." Be that useful, maybe. He loved helping people and learned all he could do be better at that, but maybe that was his problem. He never studied any one thing.
It took a lot of work to specialize in something, he knew that at least.
"I see! Maybe I'll visit your place some time too! It sounds really great and you really seem to like your work! I think that's the best part of a good experience, you know? It really makes things better when you like what you're doing."

"Well, if you're interested, I can teach you some of the basic poses and see how you fare? That way I do my morning yoga and get to teach you a bit to see if you'd like yoga!" Leonora didn't mind opting out of the more difficult poses for today. Well, if he wanted to see a more difficult pose, she'd definitely be willing to show him!
Leonora could feel her muscles getting a bit too cold for her liking so she stretched her arms over her head and then bent over, stretching her legs. "Mm... That feels good. If not yoga, I don't mind joining you for a short run!"
"I wouldn't mind giving you a free mini-session! I don't know how packed we'll be yet, but we're hoping for more people! I swear we have the best people working together! I like working with my hands, so it seemed like a perfect profession for me. I also love making people feel better." Leonora realized that some of what she said sounded a bit off, but she didn't mind.

"That sounds really fun! I'd love to do that!" Grant was almost bouncing for joy and in excitement.
If there was something he loved almost as much as helping friends (and everyone else) it was learning about new and interesting things. And anything new was interesting, but this also held the second perk of being beneficial for his work as a soldier of the Dark Mirror Court.
He was still working to better himself, become sturdier. It was one of those goals that would never really be met, but something to always strive for.
Those were fun goals.
"I love making people feel better too! This sounds like a really great place!" He laughed and nodded his head, then moved closer to he could mimic her motions. He didn't mind not having a mat, he liked the grass and these were his 'work out' clothes anyway. They looked suspiciously like his pajamas on a cold day, ill fitting sweats, but that was fine.

Leonora was happy he was willing to try! There seemed to be a lot of people not wanting to do new things, especially with a stranger and in a public area. She knew that some of the poses were more embarrassing; Leonora had never minded herself, and she hoped Grant didn't either.
She watched as Grant took a spot beside her, but she almost instantly shook her head. "No! Not on the grass. You should definitely use my mat! Don't think of it as an inconvenience to me, but for a full experience for you! If you do decide to continue, at least you wouldn't have to wonder what it felt like!" Leonora got off the mat and moved to a spot in front, where Grant would be able to see what she was doing.
"Are you ready to feel better now with a small yoga session?" Leonora smiled as she put her hands together and lifted them as high as she could. Then, she lifted up her left leg and put her foot against the side of her knee. "They call this a 'tree' position. It kind of makes sense, doesn't it?"

Grant always wanted to learn new things. Even if he was bad at things, and they weren't right for him, there was no reason not to try things at least once to see how they went. He was not really scared of embarrassing himself or of failure. Those were rather common staples of his life, and he had learned to take them in stride.
At least always with a smile.
Grant looked at her as she moved off her mat for him, smiling gratefully at the offer.
"Thank you very much, that's very kind!"
He nodded his head, more than ready for the lesson, watching keenly and then moving as she did. He was not the most graceful guy out there, but he certainly had to get points for trying his best. He wobbled, but nodded his head.
"It does make sense! This is kind of fun!"

A gentle smile came on Leonora's face. Her eyes were still closed and she was trying to keep a steady heart rate, despite being excited that she was teaching Grant something that he might enjoy for the long run! "We're going to stay in this position for a minute, okay?" She was unsure of how well Grant's balance was, but it could be worked on if he wanted. Plus, she could always chose a different pose for the next one.
"Okay, take deep breaths. Quick, deep breath in.." She paused for a few seconds holding her breath. "Then exhale slowly." Leonora breathed out, still slowing her heart beat. "And another..." She told him as she continued the breathing exercise while holding the position.
A minute or two had passed until she thought Grant would be ready for another position. "Okay, now relax!" Leonora put both of her feet on the ground as she waited for Grant to do the same. "Feeling up for another one?" She asked him with a smile, at the same time trying to decide which one they should do next.

Grant followed instructions dutifully, following her every motion, though his were considerably less graceful. At least he was not shy about it, and nothing was holding him back. He was ready to make a fool of himself if only because he did not think he was making a fool of himself. He was just trying really hard to do exactly what she was showing him.
And he wasn't great at it.
"That felt really good!" he laughed in sheer delight. He'd never done yoga before and had no idea that it was actually so invigorating. at least he found it so, doing something new and fun and not too difficult but certainly not easy for him. He wasn't the most balanced or bendy person out there.
This would definitely help him better himself!
"If you would like to show me another one I would love it! I am definitely interested in taking classes for this!"

Leonora was happy with the delight in Grant's attitude. There were some people that looked down upon yoga, and was glad that she was 'converting' someone towards it. She stood up tall and reached for the sky taking in deeper breaths. "This isn't a particular exercise; it's just something that helps me feel like I'm embracing the day."
Her eyes were closed as she thought just for a few moments. There were more days than not when she'd be in some weird position and people were looking at her funny. Gladly, there were two of them that were looked upon now.
"Hm... Next one is the Cobra!" She laid face down on the crass, her clothes feeling a bit of the damp dew. Leonora put her palms on the grass and pushed her upper body a bit higher. Her arms made a 90 degree angle while she took deep breaths before speaking. "This is another simple one. Ask me if you have any questions!"
She was doing some breathing exercises as she went along before her cellphone chimed. It seemed like she got less done than she was originally planning. Oh well. "I'm sorry Grant! That was all that I had time for today. I have to get home and get ready for work! If you'd like, I do this almost every day! If you pass by me again, you're free to join!"
Leonora packed up her mat and picked up all her junk. "Have a good day," she told him as she headed in the direction of home. Hopefully, she would not be late.Lithiasaur (( I just noticed that I had never quoted you with a response to this... I really just want to close this and start new RPs, so up to you if you want to close this for Grant <3 SORRY I'M BAD I KNOW orz ))
