Rev fussed with the lacy under thing, frowning as she ran a finger down the tear. Stella must had tore it with her nails last night among other pleasurable distractions. She couldn't blame her love, considering she had worn the tight lace to drive Stella crazy. Still, she needed the delicate piece of clothing fixed. Preferably by someone female who would know what they were doing. The guard sighed and folded the lace, hiding it in a bag of clothing that needed minor and common fixes. The usual wear and tear.
She motioned for Resk to stay in the den as she left to find the craft rooms and a discrete weaver. Men became all bothered when asked to fix tiny little lacy things. The slender blonde sighed and rapped on the door, peering in. "Hello? I have a question about some repair work?"

Canoake looked up from the intricate stitching that she was working on for herself. Again. She was angry that none of her beautiful designs could be seen by the outside world, that her lovely colors had to be seen by guards and prisoners. Ugg. Prisoners.
Not that she wouldn't mind tumbling with a couple of the more handsome and dangerous specimens.
A knock on the door and she looked up instantly, eyes narrowing. Who would actually come to the store rooms at this time of day? "Yes? How can I help you?"

"Hello," Rev said softly, walking inside and smiled charmingly at the young woman. "I was hoping you could help me by fixing something a rather delicate." She opened the bag and fished out the small lace top from where it had been slipped between two shirts. "My wife was a little over enthusiastic and managed to rip it." Stella usually managed to keep form destroying her wardrobe. Sometimes the slightly older woman forgot her strength.

Canoake's eyes looked over the woman's figure and registered the word "wife". Which didn't always mean committed but it did mean tread carefully. And a smirk crossed her lips when she saw the delicate lace top torn. That must of cost at least 10 marks and Canoake's mind took in the design. Oh, if only she could have something so pretty!
"Interesting piece. I haven't seen many like it. From the North, perhaps? I can fix it. But I don't repair non-prison garb for free. Can you pay to get it repaired? Marks or perhaps something else? Jewelry? Wine... I am not too picky."

"It is northern," Rev replied a tad surprised but so sure she had found the right place if the woman had figured out the design and make so quickly. "Stella more for good beer then wine," she said softly, not wanting to part with her own stores. Two bottles of rich well age reds. "Marks, I can do, or skins if you can get them tanned. Stella tends to keep the wild felines from coming too close to the prison and Stelask rather hunt her prey then be fed."

A feline fur??? That was something that Canoake coveted. A nice rug to lay upon in her own little room. It wasn't much of a room but she was doing her best to make it her small corner of paradise. Her sanctuary until she had something bigger and better. Dark green eyes sparkled with delight as she rose from her work to walk over and handle the piece.
Very delicate. The stitch work was complicated but perfect. It would have taken time and patience to make this piece.
Running her hand across the tears, she moved down and closer. Thankfully, the tears could be mended. An okay weaver would patch and leave an obvious mend. A great weaver would patch and it would be like the most delicate scars upon the fabric. Sighing, she stood up. "A feline skin. For a rug. And you will hardly be able to tell it was ripped.

"You repair what else in the bag, and it is done. It will be a raw skin and you'll have to get it cured. I'm not paying for that part but you will have your skin latter today when Stella finishes scrapping off the messy bits." Rev said mild. Stella hunted down felines often as the young, old, wounded or sick poked around the prison pens. The current skin had been from a young inexperience male that had attempted to snatch a herds beast and got gashed by a hoof for his troubles. Skin's were in abundance for her and her wild woman lover. She could easily give Canoake a skin for that being repaired.

Hmmm.... An interesting bargain. Canoake didn't have the marks she needed to get a skin cured but... "Not just the bag but I will repair whatever your lover needs and you cover the cost of tanning. Do that and I will make a special piece just for the two of you with my own designs. I have samples if you want to see."
She may only be 20 Turns but with the experience she had, Canoake knew how to haggle with the best of them.

Cleary this little weaver had not been anywhere near her Stella. Rev chuckled, warm and rich and smiled. "I don't think I can pass up that deal. I'll get the skin cured for you. It will take longer, but if that is the price for what you have recently offer. It will be done."

Canoake grunted. Shards. She was really hoping for a better deal. But she knew when to give and went to take. Standing up, she met the other girl's eye. "I am Canoake by the way. And just bring your bits and pieces as you need them mended. And I will take care of them. Plus, if you come across a white clouded feline, let me know and I will have something special for you."
Moving away, she held up the light green shirt she was working on. It has a pattern of darker green vines and red buds along the bottom, neckline and sleeves. Grinning, she put it down. "I am a quick hand with a needle. Perhaps, we can trade from time to time for things.. Things that only you can get from the North perhaps?"

"Revrend, but Rev is what I answer to most often. It is easier to shout." Rev grinned and nodded. "A lucky white? It be a rare find in these parts, but if one finds it ways here and does something stupid enough to get Stella after it. You will be the first I find."
She paused, glancing over the work and sighed shaking her head. "Perhaps in a few more turns. We are currently working on getting our living quarters up to standard." She fiddled with her bonding ring, hanging from a chocker in thought. Their anniversary was coming up. "How good are you about making intimate under things?" It would be nice to have something new to surprise her wife with.

Oh well, Canoake thought. Soon. Soon she would have a way back into the Weaver Hall. But for now, she would almost settle and live her life the way she could. This woman was clever. Which Canoake almost liked. "Rev? Short and to the point." Smiling at the part about being easy to shout, she moved towards the back of her area. Random designs and pieces were neatly put away and organized.
She noticed Rev fiddling and hmmm'd when the question was asked. "I can make this and that. I have no super fine clothes to work with here. Linens, cottons, some bits of lace and super soft beast yarn when I can get the others here to spring for it."
With a sly look in her eyes, she took a mental guess at the woman's measurements. "Anything in particular you had in mind? Any colors?"

"I was thinking soft beast wool and netting in a dress." Rev muttered, thinking of the strands over her skin with gaps and long expanses of bare skin. She wouldn't be wearing much at all really, but it was meant to be a tease, not useful in anyway. "Something dark or very bright in color. Pastels wash me out."

"Something seductive and clever. Showing off but revealing nothing," Canoake asked. She walked around Rev, taking mental pictures of the girls figure and what colors would look good on her. She paced and once even moved the girl to straighten her a little bit. "I can do it. Do you want to sketch it out or leave me to it?"

"And for a moment I thought you would ask me to strip." Rev laughed throatily, smiling at the bold girl. Stella would like her, it wasn't often when they had a third women in their bed, they usually added a male third and teased the man into a full body blush if he couldn't keep up. "No, I'll leave it to your imagination." She was inquisitive of what the weaver would fantasize.
