Sapphire was heading to a lake where she had asked Laurent to meet her. She had a book that she found and thought he might like. It wasn't what he typically read she was sure but it was nice to change things up every once in awhile. She had a feeling that he would already be there gazing at the stars she would almost bet on it. In her mouth she held a basket where she kept the book and a few things for them to eat. Nothing fancy but they might end up deep in a conversation and need a little food.

 He had to admit, he had a thing for Sapphire.
Or at least, he HAD to, seeing as how she managed to convince him out of the house and into the open air for once.
But lakeside, he was enjoying his view of the constellations,as he wouldn't know that she had come to predict of him.
How was he to know what she did or didn't expect of him, when he was who he was.
What neither of them would suspect, however, was that he had started muttering aloud the names of certain stars, waving towards them half-heartedly with a paw.
He wouldn't notice the blue femme until she was right over him, almost literally.
Almost.

As Sapphire grew closer and closer to the lake she could make out Laurent's form. He had his back to her and his nose pointed to the sky. See she knew he would be star gazing. His hot pink ears and bits on his tail stood out slightly against the dark background of the area a crossed the lake.
As she made her way towards him she began to pick up bits and pieces of his voice. She didn't know exactly what he was saying for it was to low but she could only guess. She gently set the basket down next to him and gazed up at him. "Hello Laurent."

"AH!" Laurent nearly jumped out of his fur, quickly turning to look at the female who'd surprised him and avoiding blushing for about 3 seconds. After seeing it was Sapphire, however, his cheeks tinted a soft pink and he quickly cleared his throat, "Sapphire. I was half-assuming you wouldn't show, it's rather dark out here..."
Not that it bothered HIM any. He preferred the night life, and his gaze caught sight of the basket with a smirk, "So am I Grandma or the Big Bad Wolf?"

Sapphire bit her lip to not laugh. Not that she found it funny that she scared him so bad but about his blushing cheeks they looked adorable. A small giggle did manage to make its way past her lips before a smile graced them. "Aw Laurent why would you do that? I did say I would come and I don't mind it to much,"She told him in a gentle voice. Her smile widened and happy feelings bubbled up inside her. "Oh I don't know which do you prefer?"she asked than teasingly added, "Mr. Wolf"

He laughed, "Well if I'm the wolf, guess I have to dress as Grandma to get the goodies." He flexed his paws eerily, grinning like a maniac at Sapphire before turning his attention to the sky again, "It's a brighter night, you can see a good amount of stars and we won't be lost in total darkness, it seems."

"Mm I suppose so. Can I get a picture after we find you some granny clothes?" She asked with a smile while rubbing her side against his. "It is and it makes it even that more lovely dont you think? It is dark but the moon and stars makes the area glow when the clouds don't get in the way."
