Jake was NOT satisfied with the explanation he had been given. At. All. Standing outside the infirmary, he glared at the moon hunter who was offering him an apologetic look. "How the HELL do you lose track of an UNCONSCIOUS hunter?!"
"It was a mistake! The tech in charge took their eyes off him for a second and-" "I don't CARE what damn excuse you come up with. You're a moon hunter, are you not? It's your JOB to take care of other hunters. If I find him outside of this room again, I'll kill you." "I- wait. Aren't you just a trainee? Why are you talking to me like you're-"
Growling, he threw himself at the hunter, pinning him to the ground, and wrapped his hands around his neck. "That hunter, is not to leave that room again unless he is AWAKE and CONSCIOUS, you hear?!"
"Hey, you runt, GET OFF ME."
To any hunter passing by, it would probably look like a scuffle. Nothing strange here, folks.

There was no warning, no shout or snappy footfalls of heels running down the hall. No. All Jake got was a hard boot to his side, the glowing sole of Atropos connecting with the hostile trainee's side to shove him off the Moon hunter. If Jake looked up he'd see the deceptively calm face of Candace glaring down at him. On the outside she was simply bristling like an angry cat, but on the inside she was furious. Who the <********> did this kid think he was assaulting someone, someone who ranked above them?
Trainees were given a lot of slack. Understandable, they were new and didn't always know how things worked. This was not acceptable by any means. You did not assault someone. Hostility outside of the training field was something Candace felt very strongly about, it just led to too much trouble.
"Get up." She ordered, eyes narrowed. Candace moved, forcing herself between the trainee and the Hunter. If Jake hadn't been shoved off before he was most certainly going to be moved down. Candace was not being gentle. The Mist Hunter only softened to look back at the Moon Hunter, helping him up with a look of genuine concern. "You okay?" The Hunter nodded, rubbing his throat and scuttling away to return to his duties.
And then Candace turned back to Jake, her expression icy. "Explain yourself. Now."

Without so much as a warning, Jake felt himself being shoved over, something hard connecting with his ribs.
Toppling over, he cursed loudly, and looked up to glare at the mist hunter. In his mind, Chester breathed a small sigh of relief, and Jake only watched irritably as the other hunter scurried off.
Pushing himself up, he crossed his arms, giving Candace a scowl. "I don't have to explain ANYTHING to you. Who the hell are you?"

"I'm the Mist Hunter who outranks you and won't report your a** for assaulting a Moon Hunter unless you give me damn good reason." Candace didn't like to pull rank. She hated when it was pulled on her, she didn't want to pull it on others...but she was angry. She didn't back down, completely unimpressed by the kid's attitude. He was like a dark-skinned Otto. She kept Atropos summoned, the glowing gems on her boots blazing brightly with Atropos' excitement over being used to punish someone for being naughty. Naughty, naughty little boy! Haha!

"If you're a Mist hunter, then shouldn't you be dealing with Mist trainees? I'm not even in your division."
Though, it wasn't like he gave the death hunters that much more slack either, namelyacertainshortblonde-hairedhunter.
He smirked. "You must be an incapable hunter if you need to pull rank to try and threaten me."
With all that happened to him lately, being reported was the LEAST of his worries. For all he knew, HE was supposed to be the one in the infirmary right now in a coma, not Wilson.
As for what he was doing... as if he was going to tell Candace he was "assaulting" the hunter because he was worried about Wilson. AS IF.

"I can deal with whoever I want, especially when they're being a ******** imbecile." Candace replied sweetly, waiting ever-so-patiently for him to explain. She actually wasn't at all surprised when he did. Candace smiled, squatting down in front of the boy and propping her head up in her hands with her elbows on her knees. Yes, she's giving you the head-in-hands look to please go on I'm totally interested in what you're saying. "That's cute. No, I don't need to pull rank on you, boy. But I'm very good at getting what I want, and you're stuck with me until I do. What would you prefer? I say 'tell me now or I'll kick your a**'? Seems counterproductive to my cause." Candace could always just ask the Hunter he'd been strangling but she'd rather find out what the hell this kid's problem was from the kid himself. "So tell me, what will it take for you to be cooperative, hmmmm?"

"Busybody" he muttered under his breath. "Don't go sticking your nose in other people's business."
Getting up, he scoffed. "As if. I'd like to see you try. If you want to know so badly, go ask HIM, that useless hunter who can't even do his job properly." With that, he turned around and started walking away.-Eight Candace has permission to kick his a**. :T

Candace arched a brow as the boy walked away. A brat. What was he, sixteen? She hated teenagers sometimes. Rolling her eyes, she followed after him until she was close enough to drop down, spin on one foot and sweep the other out against the boy's legs to send him to the floor. She stood then, putting her foot on the boy's back to keep him pinned there. "How's the floor taste, little boy?"[A.V.] I FORGOT THIS ON MY LIST I'M SORRY ::SOB::

He hadn't noticed the woman was stalking him until it was too late. There was a small gasp as her legs sweeped under him, sending him crashing to the floor, and he let out a grunt as she planted a foot on his back.
"The hell do you want?" he growled. "Leave me alone."Eight No worries! I'm sorry for the wait myself. Q__Q

"Pretty sure that Moon hunter said the same thing." Candace wasn't even slightly impressed by his little growl there. He was just some snotnosed brat who thought he was so amazing~~~~~~ "Give me one good reason why I should leave you alone. A good one."

"That's none of your ******** business." he hissed. "Now get the hell off me."
Damn this woman and her bladed boots. He knew girls liked wearing spiked heels and all, but this was ridiculous.

Damn stupid b***h hunter who had nothing better to do then to stick her damn nose in places where it didn't belong. He hated woman, thinking they were self-entitled to everything. She'd probably make great friends with Ofelia.
He grit his teeth at her response. Of course.
Twisting his arm, he reached to where his keys were clipped, and after fumbling a bit, managed to unclip one of the keys. One of the tonfa blades were summoned, and though he couldn't see, he did his best to stab it at her boot, a soft crackling sound emitted as it bit into her FEAR shield.
"I said, get off."Eight Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh sorry for the wait. Q___Q

The blade made a loud metallic clang as it clashed with Atropos' boot. Candace feigned a yawn. She was not impressed.

If the trainee could throw his hands up in exasperation, he would have done so. Instead, he continued poking and jabing at her foot. Surely he'd find flesh soon.
