Not even opening up the door to these quarters will do any good when it comes to the light, for the second and true door to this stone complex may only be opened when the first is closed. These doors are considered stone as well, taking a person with under 10 strength an entire post of focusing to open and close the first door. These doors are only breakable by a strength of 13 or higher.
With or without realizing it, you've stepped into the home of one of the most technologically obsessed citizens of the Devil's Eye Desert, a Voidsworn who has both stolen pieces of Citadel technology and borrowed the technology of the Frozen Tundra. Walking into the first room, barely large enough for 5 people if they are squeezed together tightly, a camera is scarcely visible in the corner of the room nearest the second door, turned on by an automatic trip that occurs should anyone open the first.
Should the Master of the house be in, and you are a trusted person of his, you will hear his voice echo in the darkness around you "...Close the door." Hearing a pair of clicks upon closing the first door, you realize that the second door has been unlocked and opened as you feel a draft of air flow onto you before a hand grasps you gently and brings you into his true home.
There is not much to see in this place even if one could see it: basic furniture of the style reminiscent of the Devil's Eye Desert, including a chair, desk, bed, and bedside table. There are but two rooms in the front, bedroom and bathroom, with the only technology in sight being that the bedside table has the function of automatically repairing and downloading new information onto his gauntlet during the nighttime. Is it his backroom, with a hidden panel on the wall between his bed and his bathroom that hides a backroom and his true technological masterpiece: the CIS (Cerebral Information Synthesizer). Consisting of a cold metal chair, pads for cerebral detection, a power generator, and a data-chip port, this beauty can process any cerebral information Kinetav has and download it into the data chip for the Gauntlets of Projection. The reverse can work as well, flowing highly necessary information concerning his own childhood into his brain as the Anima sometimes forgets his own place due to the souls fighting within him. Fortunately for the data chip, this process can be filtered mentally as to only include necessary information and not cause an overload either way.

Walking up to his home, he partially bowed and waved at his neighbors as they were welcomed warmly, inquiring about the fox walking next to him; a slight blush crept upon Kinetav's face as he knew the truth and beauty behind the form, trying to explain and as he reached for the stone handle, he missed entirely and slipped forward a little bit: "It's a fox that I...found...and it just seemed to take a liking to me, I guess...""But...it's...so large.""Erm...rare breed. Smart too. Watch this."Finding the door handle to his home, he swung it open with ease and revealed the blackness within the small security room that led to the rest of his quarters. His eyes penetrated the familiar darkness easily for a change, no longer having to rely on memory along as he walked in; he spoke to Lizzy as if she was an actual pet, playing along with her "charade": "Now, there is NO light within my home and I will not be lighting it up for you. Lizzy game Kinetav a sharp bark as he conversed with his neighbor and made her way inside, changing form once inside. Once she was her humanish self, she poked her head out the door and waved to the neighbors, giving them a bright smile and a friendly wave. "A rare breed indeed," she said, bobbing back into the house. It was good to be out of the public eye for a change; she could finally unwind and relax. Moving her mask to the side of her head, she let the cold chill of the darkened room wash over her face. "Aaah," she sighed, wandering around in the dark. "Is there a chair or a bed or anything here? I'm beat..."

Kinetav's face turned bright red as the Kakurenbo blatantly blew her own cover, but the neighbors would insinuate only that which had occurred before as Lizzy followed him inside to the first room. Cracking a small grin as he noticed that she didn't bring any light with her into the first room, he began to swing the heavy door shut as he spoke: "Yeahhhh...might want to grab a hold of me if you don't want to stumble around. Also, don't be afraid."With the sealing of the first door, Kinetav looked around the room as if it was plain day although it was blackest night, viewing the camera and walking up to the second door. Once her hand touched the soft sheets of the bed, it was pretty much game over. Within mere moments, she was sprawled out on the bed, mask and jacket off. While her jacket was tossed carelessly aside, she made sure to keep the mask tucked net to her. She wanted to say something, but all that game out was a short grumble as she nuzzled her face into a pillow. Her mind was lost somewhere between pure ecstasy and reality, and she loved it. It wouldn't matter where her mind was though. Within a few minutes, she was sound asleep.

Kinetav's jaw slightly dropped as the Kakurenbo flowed off to sleep so easily after that entire battle and being guided across his light-less threshold to a near stranger's bed; peering through the blackness, he even slightly blushed as she had taken off her mask in front of him as well. Whatever peace was to this Kakurenbo, she had found it...fast. Recollecting himself, his feet moved towards the cabinet near the restroom; with a quick motion, the Anima laid out a blanket on the floor and laid down on it as a voice drifted to him within his mind... Lizzy awoke feeling incredible; it had been too long since she had a good night's rest. Letting our a small squeak as she stretched, Lizzy slowly opened her eyes. Almost instantaneously, She let out a skull shattering scream of panic as she grasped at her eyes.

Kinetav bolted upright from his sleep, confused at whether the dream was real or not; he had no time to contemplate as an alarm seemed to be wreaking havoc through the room in the form of Lizzy screaming. Slipping on his way up from the adrenaline rush and just being awakened, he scampered to his feet and spun on his heel; nearly tripping back over, a hasty scan of his surroundings revealed nothing out of place as he finally looked over at Lizzy. Lizzy had stopped screaming, but in it's place came small whimpers a tears welled up in her eyes. "Kinetav...I...I'm blind," she said, buckling her face into her hands as she continued to sob. The fact that the room was lightless had totally left her mind.

That's right, she was in that pitch black room. She had been so exhausted that it must have slipped her mind. Lizzy quickly wiped her eyes and stifled her sobs as though Kinetav still hand't noticed. Her free hand flailed around, searching her side for her mask, finally brushing against the soft ceramic. She quickly tied it up to her head, but keeping it off to the side. While she had an undying love for this mask, she had always hated the way it bounced her breath against her face, hot and humid, or smelling of death after a kill. "I...of course...I knew that," she said, blushing with embarrassment.

Patting Lizzy on the back and standing up right, he announced that it was time to get up more than he suggested it, stretching out all the way before walking over to the bedside table. As he stretched his right arm across the table, he grasped the red gem on his gauntlet; a thick layer of darkness seemed to peel off the gauntlet and into the form of a dagger before the gem popped out of the socket and a platform raised his arm up slightly. Taking his hand out of the gauntlet, the Voidsworn pressed a button on the table and a small whirring was heard as multiple small mechanical arms rose to begin repairs on the gauntlet. Edge silently obeyed and formed a black gauntlet on his right hand that looked noticeably different from the left as it hugged his skin tighter. Walking over to a wardrobe in his room, he opened in and grasped two long bathrobes, tossing one right on top of Lizzy's head and chuckling as it hit her; looking over at the bathroom, his voice echoed in the darkness to her: "It'll take just a little while to repair the gauntlets. Lizzy's face grew bright red in embarrassment. She had bathed around other people, but never around anyone of the opposite gender before. Sure it was a harmless gesture, but he could see in the dark while she couldn't, and he WAS a master of stealth. "I...um...I...I'll wait till later. I mean, it's really dark and what if I slip? Bathroom falls can be fatal you know. And besides, I don't have a change of clothes, so I wouldn't stay clean," she said, rambling as she performed mental gymnastics to avoid the question.

Kinetav had to cover his mouth to keep from chuckling at Lizzy as she blushed, shrugging and putting the robe back into the closet; walking over, he grasped her hand and mused to himself as they faded into the darkness. They reappeared not twenty feet away from where they had been, but they were outside his home and in the sun as he shielded both of their eyes from it from the light and waved to his neighbors as he broke holding hands with Lizzy. The kakurenbo would feel the warmth and see the light again, and notice that his right gauntlet was a little different than the other, with that same red gem inside of it as Kinetav wrapped his right arm around the top of his head and popped it in each direction. He then stretched his arms before yawning once and casually mentioning: "Well, not much of a peaceful sleep but it'll do. So, what do you need or want to do, Lizzy?
