A castle under a sleep spell. Abandoned but filled with unversed and heartless. There is another castle which was filled with Malificent's henchmen but they are gone.

Taint appears on the bridge, broken yet stable. "This place...that witch was here." He smiles and summons his keyblade. The keyblade reacts to his surroundings. "Time is close in this place." He moves it around and smiles. "Come to think of it...this place recently woke up from its sleep. He glances around and a Wheelmaster appears in front of him. Taint looks curiously at it, "You..? Why did you some out?" The Wheelmaster roars and escapes off into the forest. "Curious...the unversed are developing their own conscious and independence. Who am I to stop him?"

Taint smiles at the man of darkness. "I doubt it too. But this is important to me. As it was to him." Summoning his keyblade he chuckles. "If I have no purpose then I'll be trapped in the realm of darkness. Along with DiZ. Or better known as Ansem. The darkness is the only way. Leave me this."

Mortimer leaned against the edge of the bridge. "I do as the Door wills. And it wishes for me to destroy you. But I will let you go this once. Mess with true darkness and no matter what you are. You will be swallowed." Mortimer turned and faded off.

Taint laughs. "So this is how the door thinks. I'll bring down this control." Time flows past him and he disappears.

"So you are Rena?" Taint appears behind her and smiles, raising his hands in defense. "I want no trouble. Just want to talk with the light." He freezes time around them and nods. "What is a heart?"

Rena jumped a little and and posed strikingly but heard his question."An unusal question from someone like you Taint..the heart is where oneself is. Being light or dark, its what the person is.."

"Interesting...what you are saying is even the darkness have a heart. So do you believe I have one despite my intentions?" He takes a step back noticing some of the light, Kisama's most likely. "There are two sides to my plan...both are seen as a threat to both the light and the dark. I just believe it is a desire given to me by Adrian's heart."

Taint laughs. "Sorry. But I have to save them." He pauses. "If only I knew who they were" His darkness leaks from his body and Floods appear on his body. "Sad to say, if you aren't with me...you are against me." Time twists and a black dragon made of darkness appears behind him. "En garde"

"I don't know!!!" Taint summons his own keyblade and swipes at the dragon destroying it instantly. "Damn it. Time...I need time to save whoever they are. Those lost. X-blade..." He collapses onto the bridge, drained of his power.

Rena saw Taint collapse on the bridge. She was confused but she wasn't going to attack the defenseless, no matter who or how the enemy was. She walked over to him and knelt down to Taint. Rena placed her hand on his head."Taint..."
