The cafeteria was not Ancalagon's favourite place to be, but it was where the food was, and she hungered in a way that the Wyrm felt down in the marrow of her bones, pulsing through her. She'd gone for a flying run the night before, wings stretched out against the night sky. Her immense size in natural form was problematic for extended periods of flight, and led to a lot of running starts and crashing falls in cleared areas around Halloweentown.
She bothered to wait in line, this time, because her little sidekick wasn't around to take food from, and everyone else had a little...clan. Ala had decided she wanted one of her own, kin to boss around, to make them fetch her things.
Ala settled at an empty table, her tray piled high with a copious amount of food, and began to scarf it down. Not as good as a nice raw minipet, but it would do.

How he ended up being in the Creepteria? Good question! If he wasn't waken up by a capricious Pygmy Wish, threatening if it didn't have a nice breakfast ready for the next hour, his room will be burnt up completely, he should still having a sweet dream. Once again, who said Pygmy Wish is cute and mild? If there was a table, he will probably flip it over. Jacking!Anyway, he lined up in the queue, waiting for his turn to get some foods. As usually, AJ carried his tray which was piled up with sausages, fried eggs and potato chips. After all, it was breakfast time. The boil also not forget to order a takeaway sandwich for Trouble and an extra tray. " Hello, can I take a seat?" He said to a ghoul who was busy chewing her food.

Ala looked up to see another reptilian student, blinking lazily at him with her glowing orange eyes. She gave his trays a once over: he certainly appreciated food, which was a plus in her ledger.
"You may take a sssseat," the Wyrm hissed, folding her clawed hands under her chin, eyeing him hungrily. She had not noticed his tail at first, and jolted back in surprise at the sight of it.
"You have two mouthssss?" she asked, envy clear in her voice. It would be so much more efficient if she had two! Think of all the minipets she could eat!

Hissing? AJ guessed properly that ghoul was another reptile. He didn't hiss much, mostly it was the head doing that. Even though he was a serpent-dragon species, different individual is different; some hisses frequently, some seldom. For him, the hissing and instinct were all shown by the tail head, he was more like a human. " Thank you." He gave Ala a smile. First, he put the takeaway sandwich into his bag, preventing his brother to snap on it and causing small fire accident at his room. He shook the bad idea off before he got himself a tray and started to split a small portion of the pile of sausages, fried eggs and potato chips onto it. " Me?" He paused his action as the ghoul asked with a surprise tone. AJ took a few seconds to realize she was talking about the head. " We are.....separated.....yet connected...I don't have such a big appetite as it does." He chuckled, it was hard to explain how they work as two individuals in one body. The candy that the head took at the Scarentines booth worked on him too, but the bee sting head got didn't work on him. AJ didn't really think about it at all, it's nothing of his concern.

Ala peered curiously at the stranger's behaviour: it was as though he was cordoning food off for his young. Or, perhaps, for that second head that had startled her so?
She nodded once, to display her understanding, even if it wasn't entirely there. "I have a ssssecond head, too," the dragon said, knocking the bone helm she wore with her knuckles. "But. It issss not alive. When I return to my normal sssshape, it melds with me."
Curiously, Ancalagon raised a hand and flicked AJ's second head, right between its eyes. "Do you feel that?"
For once, her food laid on her plate, abandoned: a very rare occasion indeed! The reptilian ghoul was enthralled by this student. "I am Ancalagon," she murmured, sounding distracted. She reached a hand out to poke the head again, moving very slowly...

Eyes shifted to the helmet, he rolled his eyes as he recalled something familiar in his memories. " Wow! It's splendid! Can I have a touch?" His eyes were full of sparkles, there's no reasons that a dragon won't be attracted by dragon stuff. AJ, you are not the head, don't drool over something in front of a lady. " Oh, is it with you since you are born?" The Flicking drew head's attention as it moved itself, it looked at Ala innocently and blinked, blinked and just blinking while tilted its head. " Haha, nah. We don't share vision. So sometimes I failed to stop it from snapping on other's foods or licking creeple." AJ poked the head lightly. " AJ?" Head felt the boil had something to say but he didn't. " Oh, sorry for being rude. I am AJ, year one student. Are you in monster dorm as well?" Observed Ala's Dragonish features, he made the guess. It would be great if they were neighbours. Head was staring at the ghoul's foods when she storked it, it did enjoy it like a kitty, but its squinting eyes were still on the foods. astrabot Still sad about the awesome Clerise ;w;
