Kadryn was getting tired of the sand and sun. While it was nice to escape the cold of winter, this never changing scenery was really boring. Perhaps she should go back to Ayr., at least they had an always changing wind and was constantly a challenge! The only thing here to challenge her self with were Kiandri's and Firani dragons... Oh! Maybe she could see if she could find Grrel's family! Hmm, wait, that might not such a bright idea. They knew this desert really well and she didn't. Kadryn shook her head; knowing her, she'd get lost. So no, there went that fun idea. Perhaps she should go towards that volcano and try for a Firani? Kadryn thought for a few moments, maybe that wouldn't be a bright idea, considering how much trouble a Kiandri was, she'd heard Firani's were even tougher! "Well, at least they don't shoot lightning at me that always hits my mace..." Kadryn grumbled. She looked at her gloved hands. She never left home without her special leather padded gloves, the burn scars on her hands didn't hurt, but they were certainly a reminder about the dangers of lightning. Kadryn looked up as she was a shadow pass over her. A Kiandri Dragon, blithely flying without a care in the world.
Well, that settles that. I ambush a Kiandri and head home! Kadryn unhooked her mace from its place on her back and unfurled her wings. While she didn't hate Kiandri's anymore, she still took a certain amount of glee in killing them. Launching herself into the air Kadryn barreled into the unsuspecting dragon's unguarded belly. The short and bloody battled that followed covered Kadryn in blood. As she landed, she sighed, "Man, I just bought these new clothes! ..Ma is not going to be happy I've bloodied them already.... Shaking her head, she rolled in the sand to get most of the wet and sticky feeling off then headed for the sea, "Lets see if salt water is good for getting out most of the blood..."
