Something was wrong. Something was very, very wrong.
...She just didn't know what.
Furrowing her brows in confusion, Eva took a few steps back, her head cocked to the side as she surveyed the hallway and tried to figure out what was bothering her. Nothing seemed to be particularly out of the ordinary. The hallway was, as per usual, bare, with the only things worth looking at being the numbers imprinted on the dorm room doors. Puzzled, the young woman because to continue down along the path...
And then she stopped again, her frown deepening as she backtracked once more. What the hell was nagging at her? There really wasn't anything different about how this place usually looked. It was bland and colorless and--
--Colorless. Wait a minute, didn't she...before Christmas, she had tied a bright red scarf to this door handle, hadn't she? It had been a Christmas gift to Ryan, but when she looked at the door now, she realized that her gift was nowhere to be seen.
Oh, for the love of-- "That's not very nice!" She fumed aloud, putting her hands on her hips as she glared up and down the hall, "Stealing from the dead is not cool!"

"Who's stole what?" Ryan spoke up from behind Eva. Eyes wide with surprise as the female trainee yelled in front of his door. Wait. She wasn't blaming him for stuff that he didn't know about too, was she? Though in truth, he was at fault for taking the scarf.

Eva didn't even turn to look at the one who had spoken, too focused on glaring at the door as if she expected the scarf to magically materialize. "Someone took the scarf that I knitted and left here for Rya...n..."
She trailed off, stiffening as her blue eyes widened. Wait a minute, that voice had belonged to...? Slowly, she turned to face the boy, her expression unreadable as she stared into his face. Then, after a second passed, Eva suddenly grabbed him by the shoulders and pulled him in for a hug.
A second after, she pushed him back by the shoulders and gave him a little shake. "You're alive!? Or...or I suppose that you could be a zombie, but..."

Ryan frowned.
Stolen something? Well that was bad. Who would do such a thing? That was just downright, wrong! Though he didn't recall there being anything to steal outside his dorm room. Except for the--
Oh...
Too late to say anything before she turned around, Eva caught him by the shoulders and gave him a shake. He was startled, to say the least. But then again, she looked just as startled as he was. He supposed this was how Bix felt whenever he encountered someone after 'rising from the dead.'
"Y-yeah?" He answered, wide eyed. Too stunned to say anything else. "I umm, never died...?"

Eva didn't seen to hear him, giving him another hug followed by another shake. "How long have you been alive!?" That was a stupid question, but she didn't seem to notice, too excited and caught up in the fact that the boy seemed to be unharmed.
Hopefully he was, at least, as she gave him another shake, one that was more enthusiastic this time. "Where have you been all this time?! I lost sight of you during that mission, and--" She cut herself off, furrowing her brows as she looked between the boy and the door of his dorm. Back and forth, back and forth.
"Oh wait, you took the scarf, didn't you?" Okay then, that was fine.OnionGrump OuO ohohohoho sorry Ryan, hopefully your brain isn't rattling in your skull from all this shaking

There was a hug followed by more shaking and Ryan was still a little too stunned to do anything but stand there with a stunned expression. "Umm.. since birth?" He said with an equally stupid answer, before getting yet another shake.
"I was in the infirmary, but Wilson is letting me stay with him. But I recently got access to my dorm again. Though I don't know how I lost it to begin with." He answered, furrowing his brow. He remembered the mission she spoke of, with the creepy little elves, the Julie look a like and he even remembered the banishment into the Sahara and as well as everything in between. But anything important before that and after he touched that orb was a blank.
"Oh, yeah... Wilson and I dropped by here first. That's how we found out my dorm was locked. Its a nice scarf though, thank you."

...Good answer. There was a long pause, and then Eva let out a bright laugh, leaning forward to squish her cheek against his in her typical affectionate greeting. "Well, I'm glad. Though I mean, I wish I had known sooner." As she drew back, she lifted her brows at the younger boy and shook her head, lips twisting into a lopsided smile, "I wish I had known sooner, though."
Though ahh, it made sense that he would have been in the infirmary for a while, and she couldn't say that she was surprised to hear that Wilson had taken the other boy in. That was her lil bro for you! "I guess Caelius just...had the dorm taken away from you and Kat after you guys were sent out into the Sahara," Eva answered, giving a casual shrug though the look on her face morphed into one of irritation, "I don't know if he didn't think that you guys would make it back in one piece or what."
But they had, and that was all that mattered. Lips suddenly splitting into a grin, the young woman bounced back and gave a little salute. "No prob! Possibly dead or not, I thought I'd make something for zombie-Ryan to wear and keep warm in the afterlife."
