Shirki was enjoying the festivals this year. Being in adulthood now made the festival much more interesting then when he was younger. A smile was almost always on his face, the friendly male was extremely excited to go and meet all of the other members of the pride. He was pretty sure that was one thing that he still enjoyed from when he was younger was meeting other members of the pride. He loved company and he loved to have others to spend time with. He absolutely loved the times that he got to spend with others.
He was wandering away from the festival for now, he was thirsty ad it appeared this part of the festival was going to go on forever, even though it was getting late she felt like it was just going on and now and on the other hand he wanted to go back and participate a little more but at the same time he thought it was time to take a break. He wandered toward the edge of the water and leaned over and started to lap up some of the water. He flopped down on his haunches after he did, watching the water and the moon reflect off of it.

Tafuki had about enough of the festival for one night. It was a whole lot of fun, however... Her shy nature made it a bit too much to take after a while. Smiling to the companions that also joined the bird clan she excused herself quietly, then moved forward, away from the other members and towards a body of water she had made note of when she first came.
Sighing happy once she had successfully departed from the large group of lions, Tafuki happily gazed at the water. So thankful was she to have found a new home in the Ela. Perhaps she would be of more use to them than she was as a rogue.
Her affinity to water made it incredibly easy to her to relax as she took a drink. Not completely paying mind to the lion watching the water. However, as she stepped forward, almost in a trance into the water, she fell straight in. It seemed.... the water was deeper than she expected.

Shirki closed his eyes for a few minutes taking in the feeling of the air on his coat and his mane. Enjoying basically everything going on around him, the sounds of the water and the quiet of the night. That was until he heard another sound, one that he wasn't really expecting. The sounds of another's foot steps graced his ears and he couldn't help but to turn his attention to the lioness. She was a pretty lioness however one thing was for sure and that was that he had never seen her before. Then again with all of the clans around there were many new faces, not only that but there was of course the new faces of the newly joined pride members. He really did enjoy seeing the new member's faces.
He watched her as she approached the water he wasn't that sure if he should interrupt what she was doing. She seemed to have no idea that he was there, and even though he didn't want to scare or startle her he also didn't want to seem creepy. Right before he was about to say something to her he watched as she started to fall into the water. He bit his lip trying not to giggle and he then shook his head and then started to walk toward the water's edge, "Are you okay?" He asked trying not to be a jerk, he didn't want to start laughing at her. He thought that it would be horrible. He didn't want to make her upset with him right off of the bat, especially since she appeared to be pretty new.

As she submerged she couldn't help but let out a shocked gasp, however, once she leveled herself and started to swim, a smile of satisfaction curled onto her maw. Yes; This was what she needed to calm herself down. And then the voice of another reached her ears...
"AH!" Jerking away from the pink-maned Ela, Tafuki's green-blue eyes glittered with a bit of fear. Had she accidently splashed him when she fell in? He had been on the other side of the pool beforehand.
"...I-I didn't splash you did I?" Biting her bottom lip, hoping that she hadn't she waited on, now a fair distance out from the shoreline.

The large pink male was hoping the lioness was okay, she seemed almost scared. He began to worry that he scared her, and that was what he didn't want to do that was for sure. He turned toward her and then he shook his head his smile sincere and gentle. "Don't worry!" He said nodding toward her as he pushed himself off of his haunches and then started to walk a little closer to her. "You didn't splash me at all." He paushed and settled back down on his haunches taking in how the lioness looked. He was pretty sure at that point that he had never seen her before. "I thought I was the only one around here that decided that hanging around the water edge was the best idea.
He paused and then smiled once again deciding that offering some small conversation was the best thing that he could do, he was hoping that if he was nice she wouldn't seem so afraid. "What's your name? I've never seen you before." He noted, maybe he had seen her before? He honestly was hoping that he didn't meet her before! It would be really upsetting if he had met her but didn't remember her. Her eyes were so memorable.

Tafuki's face flushed as the pink lion moved closer to her, a feeling of distress washing over to due to shyness and for a moment she was quiet, struggling to reply. Eventually, however, she was able to stammer out something like a reply, her eyes focused now completely on the surface of the water.
"G-good." Sinking a little lower to cover her mouth and nose she rolled her eyes back up at him, flushing harder as she forced herself to look at him.
He didn't seem threatening at all, if anything he was kind of cute. Large and fluffy with kind pink eyes, and definitely a pride member from there. It was evident in the exorbitant amount of tattoo that traced over his body.
Perhaps she'd be able to ask questions and learn more about the pride? And her clan. Bird Clan. Maybe he was one of them? Perking ears up at him as he asked her name, there was her chance to make real conversation. Forgetting that her mouth was under water she attempted to reply, only to swallow a large amount of water and make some strange gargled noise.
Widening her eyes, she shot herself out of the water and began coughing, having air in the lungs definitely wasn't the plan.

Shiriki was extremely confused at why the lioness was so quiet at first although he was glad that she seemed to be in good spirits he was confused on why she was so quiet, or for that matter why she seemed so scared. Never in his life had he considered himself scary. He always thought that he was pretty nice, and it wasn't like he was a large lion either. Was pink a scary color? He was pretty sure it wasn't. Not as scary as the red lions that he had met before. Red was a scary color! He sat quietly and awkwardly not sure of if he should keep talking or walk away. He really just wanted to strike up a conversation with this friendly looking lioness. She at least seemed pretty nice.
He was about to say something, something about the weather really because he was unsure of anything else to say when he heard the lioness make a strange noise and then started coughing. He had no clue what to do or why she was coughing and he stumbled back unsure and a little startled. "Uh" He blurted out the noise, not really on purpose but not really able to get anything else to come out of his mouth. "Are you okay?" He managed, taking a step forward again. He was hoping that she was okay! He couldn't handle some one dying on him!
