Nyoko giggled to herself as she jumped from puddle to puddle sending the water flying everywhere. She was near a river that lay not far from her families territory. It had recently rained and she was out enjoying the water.

Riga'Mortis laid out on the bank and sunned himself. The rays felt so nice washing over him. The water had been so rough during the rain it was nice to find something soothing.

Nyoko stopped as somethin on the opposite side of the back caught her eye and she bounded to the edge of the river. she squinted, trying to make out the figure on the bank. It was no one from her family, that was for sure. " Heeey there!" she shouted across the river and bounded into the water swimming over

Ears perking up Mort turned to see who was calling to him. "Oh! Hello there." he softly cooed in a sing song voice.

Nyoko emerged on the other side soaking wet, but it didn't seem to bother her. she pranced over and examined the other zune " Hi! my names Nyoko, who are you? wait.. your not a ninja... are you?" she asked staring at him suspiciously

upon hearing that he wasnt a ninja she brightened up again " oh good! i don't have to chase you away. Nice to meet you Riga'Mortis. Do you have a nickname i could call you? saying Riga'Mortis all the time must get tiring"

Smiling, "Well you can call me Riga. Or Mort. either is fine by me. Or anything else you'd like to call me for that matter." He lifted his tail from the water and let little drops fall to the surface.

Nyoko smiled and blushed a little at the compliment " your really nice, Grandma Fuega says i shouldent talk to strangers, but if i dont talk to strangers i cant make any friends, i mean does she expect me to only be friends with my family members, i mean theres a lot of of but still. everyone else gets to go out and make friends except me and its not fair." she said all in one breath and huffed pouting slightly

Nyoko smiled " exactly! and i can promise the same! that is, as long as you don't turn out to be some evil ninja disguised as someone whos not a ninja. If that happens, all promises are null and void." she said matter-of-factly with a very serious face. however she couldn't hold it and quickly resumed grinning

She tilted her head as far is it would go and looked him over "nooooo, should they? you look normal to me! well, aside from the fishy tail, which is actually pretty cool if you ask me"
