Zephyros' wings spread high as he soars above the campus. His eyes are narrowed as he pays attention to each person that walks beneath. Some even in their true forms as well. He has to dodge a few that fly in the sky... It doesn't help that the snow is still following heavily from the sky. It's not the best time of season to be flying, he admits. Except, he needs to stretch his wings out.. He needs the feel of the wind underneath him.
The serpent's body stretches out before reluctantly heading down unto the frost covered grass. His head shakes off the snow that had cluttered on top. There was nothing more annoying than this weather. At least the rain didn't cling to his scale body like this white powdery thing. And the rain never made him feel the need to hug a tree.
In fact his eyes narrow again and he looks around before slowly slithering to the nearest tree. The feeling to hug it was too strong to ignore... And maybe it will warm him up so he could go fly off into the sky again. All he needs to do is keep out of sight from any other students, and then he won't feel as embarrassed about it either.

Another chilly day on campus. Snow was fine and all, but Shun would like it to go away soon. Having some warmer weather around here again certainly would be nice to say in the least. For now, he was sitting against a tree, unaware that there was a big Quetzalcoatl on his way to try and hug the very same thing. He did hear something moving through the snow behind him, but he didn't really think too much of it. There were a few people coming and going through the area, and he was just relaxing for the time being. Pretty soon, he was going to have to get back up and work on training once more. In any case, it seemed like an unpleasant surprise was about to occur for both monster and reaper.

And sure enough Zephyros was still heading his way towards the Reaper's tree. Except every so often he has to keep shaking off the snow from both his wings and his head. And this all the more annoyed him and pushed him further to the safety and comfortable of such a huggable tree..
Zephyros hurriedly approached it now, and wrapped his large feathery wings around said tree. It was so awkward that he pulled his wings back and decided to wrap his body around the trunk instead. Probably hitting Shun with both his wings and his tail while doing this.

Shun furrowed his brow as he realized that the oncoming sound was getting really close. In fact, it sounded like it was coming from the other side of the tree. Just as he was about to see what was going on, he saw two large wings burst out from the sides.. only to smack him as they wrapped around the tree. There was also a tail there hitting him as well. Cursing from the sudden assault, he began to bat away the limbs and scrambled away before turning around. "What the hell are you doing?" he uttered as he saw the Quetzal hugging... or attempting to hug the tree he had been sitting against. Well, at least he could see this wasn't a hunter golem off the bat but he was a tad agitated from the sudden encounter.

He instantly backed away from the tree once he heard the voice. His body slithering around the tree to get a look at what he did and stares at the boil in front of him. His head cocks to one side before he opens his fanged mouth to speak. His tongue slithering out in a hissing response. However he sounds a little embarrassed of his own actions.
"I'm ssssorry. I had an overwhelming sssssensssse of happinessssss. Thissss tree had called out to me. Did I harm you? " he peers closely and blinked one of his purple eyes, studying the other before pulling back and coiling himself tightly around the tree and then staring once more at the reaper.
"I cannot help it. "

"No, I'm fine," Shun said. His proverbial feathers were ruffled but he was unharmed. Though, he just gave the monster a rather flat stare as he coiled around the tree tightly. He wanted to hug it that bad huh? Granted, he felt some similar urges and feelings of warm fuzzy joy within, but he was able to refrain. There was something weird in the air. It had to be. "Just... get a hold of yourself," he muttered. This was a little bizarre to say in the very least. But. At least the other decided to vent his huggy feels onto the tree rather than himself. He liked his personal space.

His wings folded beside his body while a soft sigh escapes his throat. Hugging the tree seemed to relax him for some reason, and at least the snow was not falling on his head any more. Zephyros felt a little less annoyed from all these facts, plus the lack of a feeling to coil around the stranger he happened to bum into.
Actually he was beginning to feel the urge to hug him...
With a small twitch of his wings, he pushed the feeling away and nodded. "I will try... but I really cannot help it. The feelingsssss... they travel to the pit of my sssstomachssss. It issss hard enough to hide the urge when I am at the dormssss, but at leasssst out here it is easy enough to sssspare other ssssstudentssss."

The urge to hug was strong in this one then. Shun grimaced a bit and took a step back instinctively. "Well then I appreciate you choosing the tree over me," he said. He was not a very hug-able person. It was that reason that he knew something unnatural was going on when he felt the very same to desire to hug those who weren't a certain werewolf. He could just take out that urge on her later. But out here? Yeah. That wasn't going to happen. In any case, he realized he hadn't really seen this student around the campus before. There certainly seemed to be an influx of new kids as of late. He supposed that was somewhat good that Amity was losing its stigma, but at the same time, it likely meant he was going to be on edge a little more until he was able to sort out who was who.

Taking in a deep breath, he finally loosens his coil around thetree and moves to coil himself up against the tree. Feeling the distress in the other student, he lowers himself lightly and stares up at him curiously. "It isssss a nice tree. However I will sssstop because it doessss feel sssstrange to do. " And it was strange to look at.
A giant serpent with wings just snuggling up against the tree, it was an unnatural thing even to him. To shake the conversation off his weird hugging habit as of today, he decides that it was time to introduce himself to the one he had nearly attacked with his scaly self.
"I am called Zephyrossss. I am a Quetzalcoatl, incasssse you were wondering." His wings quiver lightly. "Who are you? "

At least for now it seemed like the monster managed to get a grip on himself. Letting out a breath, Shun put his hands into his pockets and nodded in acknowledgement when he introduced himself. "Shun. Grim Reaper," he said quietly in turn, keeping the actual introduction short. Pausing for a moment, he looked over Zephyros, then asked, "I take it you're new around here? I hadn't really seen any queztalcoatls around campus before."That wasn't to say that he knew everyone at the school because that was far from the case. But he had seen a number of the students in passing here and there. Especially when crazy things started to happen.

And indeed he has. he's finally calming down after being hidden from the snow. His urge hug everything in sight is now but a mere memory. For now he's staring curiously at the reaper.
"Yes. I am knew. I have been living here for a ssshort time, and it hasss been interessssting. Howeve it isss a sssad tale to hear that you have not ssseen many Quetzalcoatlssss. " Actually he was hoping that he would be able to find others of his own specie to make the transition easier.
"How long have you been sssstudying here?" Perhaps this reaper could help him instead, if not just a short view into the world he is now involved in. The last two reapers he met were as knew as he was. And the field trip was not as helpful as he hoped.

Shun nodded lightly before addressing the quetzal thing, "I have not. But there are a number of other dragon species around. A fair amount as well." He knew a few of them off the top of his head. He made no other mention for the time being now though. "About a year and a half. I'm a third year student, however," he replied. Perhaps the other male had a question about something or another. He supposed he had some time on his hands, and since he wasn't trying to hug him or anything like that, he could tolerate dealing with him for awhile.

Other dragons? Perhaps he'll be able to find them. It would be nice to interact with others that are like them, instead of only reapers. Actually he was beginning to wonder why he had only interacted with Reapers lately.
Waving it off, he looks impressed. "A third year ssstudent? And for more than a year? What do you ssstudy in? " He was about to ask another question about Shun, but decided it was best not to prod about someone, especially with someoen he had just met.

Shun furrowed his brow at that question. "I don't study any field in particular. If a class comes up that strikes my interest, I attend it," he said with a shrug. As far as he was aware, there weren't really any special curriculum if you wanted to go into one thing or another. Perhaps the school Zephyros had come from was different in that manner. "I suppose you could say I am here to train and better myself though," he added.

He looks confused but then slowly nods his head. So it means he could study anything he wants then? That's actually very appealing for the Quetzalcoatl. Now he's looking forward to another class. " I see.. What exactly are you training yourself for? "
