"Well...we almost had it," Sera said with a small sigh as she looked over to Prix, who tottered along beside her. The pokemon gave what could only be described as a sympathetic giggle. "Heey don't laugh, I'm really bummed about this!" They had that Abra right where they wanted it, and then it teleported away before Serafina could do anything to capture it. Sighing with disappointment, she looked up at the sky. Even after her unsuccessful attempt at catching a pokemon, it was still a nice day to be traveling. The Togetic bounced along before flying up next to her and nudging her playfully with his head. She laughed and rubbed his crown affectionately.

How in the heck could one girl end up lost and suddenly appear very, very, very far away from home, since she was being guided by her Raichu. "Riley, ever since i got you, i have not seen a single town or city since, not even a route....oh, wait, were on Route 6. Alright, Riley, we have a choice of either going to Saffron or Vermilion. Which one do you think i should go to?" She asked quietly but knew she would never understand anything. With a sigh, she sat under a tree to rest a bit, only to hear a voice someplace and got up again, a bit worn out and sore from endless walking. Following to what seemed like a girl's voice, she peered their way when close enough to see them and saw what looked like a girl and her Togetic. Riley looked up at her and smiled and in return she petter her Raichu. Walking a bit closer, she looked at the girl, only a bit of distance away from them now.

When the other girl came into view, Serafina returned her smile and waved a small bit. Prix squealed happily at the sight of new company, and fluttered over to say hello to the Raichu. The pokemon playfully spun around in the air, waving at it with both hands. "Hello," She said, chuckling a little bit at how excited Prix was to meet the new pokemon."Taking a break from traveling?" she asked.

Looking at the girl, she looked down to Raichu and let her Pokemon take. *"Rai!"* Said Riley and she giggled slightly then listend to the other girl with a nod. "Kind of. Riley got us lost so we've been trying to find where to go and ended up here." She said softly and watched her Pokemon actually have fun and looked at her other Pokeball, wondering if she should let out Anim.

Serafina laughed a little bit at the girl's answer."Where are you trying to get to?" she asked. Maybe she could help her out. Even if she didn't know where exactly something was, she could always pull out her pokegear and they could figure it out together."Toge Togetic," Prix answered gleefully, excited to have met someone new.

"We're just battling whatever pokemon we see around while we head to Saffron, which is pretty close. After that, i'll need to figure out the next quickest route system there is to get to a good enough route to catch my next pokemon. After that, i'll be a wandering soul all over again." She said with the same quiet tone as she let out Anim and watched him smile and her, making her smile.

She smiled widely when the girl said where her first destination was. "Prix and I are headed to Saffron too!" she said excitedly."You can go with us," She offered. "I'm meeting a friend, I know the way there." Sera wondered if the girl had just gotten started on her journey, and if she was questing for the badges or doing something entirely different.

"That sounds good. I have to figure out where to go next." She said and hardly noticed as something flicked in Riley's sight and with curiosity, the Raichu went to go find out, Anim following. It was like a flick of orange and a little tan-white, that got her Pokemon's attention. Hopping to make sure her friends were ready to go, she looked behind her to see nothing. "One question....Did you see where Riley and Anim went?" She asked as she looked around about for them.

Serafina watched as the Raichu, then Charmander wandered off into the tall grass. Her eyebrows rose as they seemed to just leave the side of their trainer, and looked to Rhonda when she asked where they had gone. "I believe they wandered off into the tall grass over there," she said, nodding over in the direction."We can find them, come on." She waved for her new companion to follow as she and Prix entered the taller grass, with the Happiness pokemon hovering above them. "Wanna go see what they're up to, Prix?" She asked. The Togetic responded gleefully before flying ahead to find the two other pokemon.

Seeing some rustling, she followed them and spotted what looked to be the tip on Riley's tail. Something got their attention, something that was interesting, and made her Pokemon wander off. If something did that, then something must be worth seeing. Seeing the full tail of her Raichu, she started going a bit faster, trying to catch up in order to catch a hold of them.

The Togetic hovered over the other two pokemon, but suddenly distanced itself and let out a surprised"Tog!"when a paw came swiping at it from the tall grass. Serafina followed Rhonda to where the wild Meowth seemed to think that Prix was a funny thing. It seemed displeased as the pokemon maneuvered away, but it's interest quickly shifted over to the Raichu and it's trainer."Meowth!" It cried when it's eyes made contact with the small party."Looks like we found a playmate-" she started, before the cat pounced for Riley with a Fury Swipes."Okay, maybe a little more than a playmate!" She added in surprise. "Think you can handle it?" She asked. Serafina figured since the Raichu found it, it was only fair to let the trainer battle it.

"I'll be able to do it. Seeing as it wants to go for Riley, i'll let her handle it. If i loose it, though, and it sticks around you can take a go at it." She said and let Anim stay with the gang as Riley backed up and got in battle-ready position. It was crazy that Meowth wanted to fight Riley, but she might as well let them fight since Riley had been training now and then in secret, but not even Rhonda knew that. Watching it carefully, silence only lasted a minute and she watched it charge for them.
Meowth - 12/12 | Riley - 12/12
"Start off with Quick Attack; we need to weaken it before we use the stronger attacks." She said and as the Meowth was going straight forward to use Scratch, her Raichu charged, her speed almost remarkable as it should be for the attack, and she rammed into the wild Pokemon and pushed it back with her attack. Both of their Types making them equal in the fight, she knew it would be a tough one. After watching it stagger a bit, it got up again, still not ready to admit defeat to a trainer's Pokemon that easily.
Meowth - 8/12 | Riley - 12/12
Seeing it charge again, it was going to use Slash and it went head-on for Riley. "Quick Attack again; were not close to making it weak enough." She said and Riley preformed the move again, both going head on and both fell back. Both the Meowth and Riley were hit but they both got up. It was clear that the Meowth was starting to weaken but had strong spirit and was not going to admit defeat. Riley winced as she felt how hard the wild Pokemon put strength in the attack, and did damage. Only two more attacks and the Meowth would be defeated.
Meowth - 6/12 | Riley - 8/12
Riley looked to Rhonda and she nodded, knowing this would be the final hit. "When the Pokemon is close enough, then use Thunderbolt." She said and the Raichu nodded, her cheeks starting to show some sparks as she prepared for the attack. *"Char Charmander!"* called out Anim as he cheered on her, Riley focusing on the Meowth. When the Meowth went for her one last time, it was going to get her with Fury Swipes, and she went for it. *"Raii Raichu!!"* Shouted the Raichu as she jumped up slightly and used Thunderbolt, a blast of lightning let loose on the Meowth and damaging it. Both landed, but in the end of the battle, the Meowth fell.
Meowth - 4/12 ~ K'Oed | Riley - 8/12 ~ Victor
"The wild Meowth knocked out. Well, lets use that Pokeball now." Rhonda said softly as she picked up Riley after returning Anim to his Pokeball. Grabbing one of her spare Pokeballs, she tossed it at the Meowth and it sucked the wild Pokemon inside a red ray and it started wiggling a bit when it reached the ground. Seeing the Pokeball let it out, she grabbed it and put the Pokeball away then crouched down to look at the Meowth. "Well, at least its stays wild. What are we going to do with it, though? Should we take it with us?" She asked as she looked up at Serafina.

Serafina shrugged a little bit. "I don't think it'd be right to take it," she said, pulling off her backpack from her shoulder. She rummaged around in it before removing a berry pouch and pulling out a couple oran berries. She set them next to the Meowth before backing away. "But we can at least give it something nice to wake up to-" Simultaneously, both Sera and Rhonda's pokegears went off. She quickly pulled hers out, thinking it was odd that both had gotten a call. Very quickly, though, she realized it wasn't any personal call. Her brow furrowed as she watched Enel give his message, and let out a quiet gasp as she saw the poor Mew trapped in a machine. Her hand went to her mouth in worry as the Solstice leader delivered the rest of his message before the screen went dark. She looked at it for several seconds before looking to Rhonda"We have to find them," she said, full of determination. Serafina found this Enel guy unsettling, and the fact that he could just take over communications and broadcast such a troubling message worried her."There's no way we can just let him do this!" Opening her contacts on her pokegear, she selected Robert's number. Hopefully he was already on the magnet train, but she needed to talk to him about this. She knew she wasn't the strongest trainer, and neither was her new companion, but if anyone could give them more strength, it was him. "My friend can help, I'm sure of it. Three is better than two."

wasn't sure if you wanted to hop in on this or not, so I figured I would provide the opportunity.

The news on her pokegear was vile to her, shaking her up a bit. "Tell your friend we need to meet in Saffron city. We need to gather whatever things we have that will help to get started. We have to at least take a guess where to pinpoint their location. From there, we'll be able to make progress." She said as she looked at her map and pointed to Saffron. "I may need a few more pokemon before i start battling someone; Riley and Anim are my only two. Oh, well, we may find some to catch along our step to helping Mew." She said and smiled as Riley smiled as well as Anim. Who knows how long it would take to get Anim to evolve? Well, at least her two pokemon were ready to go, and Rhonda seemed to have a friend, though friendship may be not have been fully set for them.
