A stallion clad in black cloth, leather and a heavy sword clad on his flank stood outside the forest for a time he could sense a powerful presence but no evil within the forest itself it gave off a clean and very clean and pure feeling. Very usual for the hunter to come across something so untouched by the nobles and their strange whims.

But he was still interested in perhaps what lay inside the forest, giving off such an aura could it be to conceal something else? The hunter wondered as he entered the forest, the aura didn't change as he entered either, nor did that powerful presence seem to bat an eye, as of yet as though it was busy already tending to something.

"Not a spec of Miasma anywhere hehe" came the parasites voice "Looks like a forest from someone's fantasy dream, I wonder who the dreamer is don't you?"

D didn't make any motion to reply there was no change in his stride or movement.

"Then this forest may not even be here at all interesting notion isn't it?"

He had come across something like that before it was true, a dreamer making an entire world for herself and living in it as another person. it was a strange thing indeed but the hunter had seen much stranger.

"We still have to pass through." he said to the thing in his hoof as he walked through the dreamlike forest.

The white mare was walking along a trail she had made with her constant wandering. As she hadn't yet been on this earth for long, the path consisted only of a little worn line in the grass, the stalks bent down without much hope of righting themselves anytime soon. As safe as the forest was, she found there was little to do. She had no desire to leave and face what hardships the world outside had, but there was so little to do. She felt like her life wasn't meant to be this uneventful. Like she was meant to be doing something. She just couldn't remember what it was. Shards of her memories were trying to return to their proper places. Without the right atmosphere, they remained buried in the back of her mind.

Along the trail, Prisca came across something that shone in the sun. Nearing it without much caution, she bent her head down and shifted it with her horn. It appeared to be a tiny jewel, perhaps carried and dropped by a bird or a small animal who thought it was something food. Her eyes were drawn to it and she longed to pick it up for a closer look. It was a pretty dark color, that she could tell from here. It made it nearly hide in the grass. If not for the glint, she would have walked right over it.

Bending down further, she picked it up with her teeth, carrying it over to a stump for a closer inspection.

It was a dark purple, much darker than her hooves. Small enough for a chipmunk's cheeks. She wasn't sure what to do with it, but she didn't want to leave it.

A sound reached her ears than, the one closest perking up. She turned her head to see the stranger in all black approaching where she was standing and her purple eyes narrowed. So gloomy, he was. And suspicious looking.

Without hesitation, Prisca moved in front of her prize and stared him down with a cold stare.

"Do you have purpose here?" In respect to Gildenfire letting her stay, she wasn't going to let someone ruin the forest so long as she could help it. Or, at least, try. Prisca had never been very strong.

D continued to look around carefully, some of the most beautiful places could be the most dangerous. It wasn't the first time he'd been attacked by a dream or memory of a dream long past. The cold gaze drew his eyes, it was not entirely unfamiliar to him, such a gaze seemed to follow him where ever he went whenever he passed any of the towns rumors followed and so did the cold distrusting gazes. It was the curse of his tainted blood.

"I am just passing through." he said stopping a respectable distance from her his expression didn't change in the least he was after all used to it, and well accustomed to his stoic way of life. A thought occurred to him Was she a hidden one? she was alive, from what he could tell, she wasn't a vampire so why was she here alone she didn't seem to mind either.

This place seemed so alive, almost too much so, it was different than what he'd felt before his eyes wandered to the side as he examine the forest. "Are you a Hidden one?"

((Sorry hoshi, he doesn't do much.))

Prisca kept her ground, hardly intimidated by the sword on his side or the fact he looked like some hunter. Little seemed to phase her. This made her wonder even more than usual what her origins were. What kind of a mare looked like her, but had the courage of a warrior? It was clear she couldn't even fight. It didn't take days, weeks, months of figuring out things about herself to discover this. One just needed to take one look at her.

So why was she not afraid?

The sword suggested he was a warrior of some sort. He seemed to be traveling, so perhaps he was on some kind of quest. Or hunting something. Either way, she didn't like the look of him in the forest.

At the same time, he stirred something in her memory. It was the blade. Something about the blade.

She tried in vain to grasp the memory, but it was gone as quick as it came.

Shaking her head slowly so as not to look too odd, the mare continued to size him up, her feelings not changed despite the memory flash.

"On your way where?" she questioned. At his own question, her eyes widened slightly at the unfamiliar word. Her curiosity, despite herself, was raised by the term. Her need to learn heightened. "If I am what you say, I would not remember, anyway."

(I'd say she's used to it with Xero.)

"Just through, I seek a stallion." was all he said, and that was the truth, he sought one who everyone knew by so many other names. His own face resembled that stallion. However what the mare just said was interesting.

This mare had no memories, could she be one such taken from her home by a noble. A forest like this was still a strange place for a noble. Then it could be another type of creature, but why tend to such a beautiful forest? It looked well taken care of, not a speck of Miasma in sight. "What creature lives in this forest to keep you trapped?" The parasite in his hoof even remained silent though he expected some sort of quip from him about helping people.

He just couldn't leave it alone, he was never able to he'd often help those out as he past by. He was just that kind of person.

(She would be)

"A stallion?" she answered, giving him a quizzical look. "You are the only strange stallion I've seen." And strange indeed was a good word for him. His question made her nostrils flare slightly as she blew out in annoyance at the suggestion of being trapped. If she was trapped she'd get herself out. She believed herself cunning enough to do so without the aid of someone else. If she was trapped she also would have shown signs of this. Such as the desire to leave. Sch a strange view he had on the world if he thought her trapped.

Walking closer, Prisca moved to his side, the one with the sword hanging. She sized it up, her curiosity still peaked. A hunter or knight of some sort, definitely. Maybe a traveling fighter doing errands for those who paid him?

"What makes you think I am trapped?" Her tone held a hint of the irritation at the suggestion that she couldn't keep out of.

She hadn't seen who he sought. That was unfortunate, as soon as he killed the monsters that plagued his wood he would continue his search.

D stood absolutely motionless as the strange mare inspected him. His eyes however followed the mare as she inspected him. She was much larger than most mares he'd seen. She certainly wasn't shy. Most people tended to give him a very wide birth. The only ones that that seemed not to mind him were other hunters or monsters. She was certainly no hunter. This mare seemed very normal and as normal as she might look the fact she was not frightened of him brought another possibility. perhaps this mare was the monster.

"I heard of monsters in these wood." though the monsters he'd heard of were more scaly according the reports. Not every monster showed it's appearance to him at first.
