LOLLI qAq

It was a difficult task to deliver four lambs; at least this time there was no surprise in the form of two kimeti sacs. Too many days of fear had followed that unfortunate blessing. It had taken time but tiredness had left and now she stood firm in protection as her young ones gained an idea of the world around them.
Despite the nature of her name, she was not given to undue ferocity or battle. However, motherhood had a habit of turning even the fragile into lionesses ready to pounce, maul, and tear out throats. She had already rammed her head into a few kin that showed more curiosity than she preferred. And she was on edge, rigid with the determination to protect them.
Even so she was bedded down. Head high, ears perked, eyes alert. A dangerous mix for the curios of lambs to come across.
