Calidora had recently wandering around the edge of the borderlands. What could she say? She liked a little danger now and then. Just a little, not too much. Exploring was fun besides if you didn't do anything life would be boring. Atleast that is what she thought. With a somewhat giant red paw she batted at a tiny pebble with pursed lips and contemplated on what do to with her time. "I wonder if there will be an excitement near the edge of Pridelands..." She thoughtfully gazed at the sky before moving along at a steady pace..

Fiore hadn't meant on getting so close to the Pride Lands, but the lion was intensely curious. What were the lions like? How did they socialize? In all honesty he'd never seen a pride as massive, and didn't want to over step any boundaries. That being said, when he came across the red lioness, Fiore put on his brightest smile. "Hello, miss! Nice day for a walk, isn't it?"

Of course. Of course! She had been distracted. There were lovely flowers about all over the ground and they sure smelled lovely! Cali was so lost in the scent that she hadn't noticed an unknown male approach her until he was almost in her space. "Gah!" She whirled around in surprise while blinking her orange as at the male. She hadn't realized the flower she had been smelling previously had left some residue on her muzzle and nose. "Um, yes it is. A lovely day indeed." She spoke absentmindedly before shaking off the surprise with caution. " I can't say you look familiar." It wasn't as if she knew everyone in pridelands but she tried her best to be on the up and up.

In all honesty, Fiore hadn't expected to find many flowers in this area. It wasn't something he had seen much of in his travels, but they were a welcome sight, especially when such a friendly face inhabited them. He smiled warmly, his bi-colored eyes crinkling in mirth. "Oh, that's probably because I don't live around here. In all honesty, my pride is a good distance away, but I've got a wandering bug. Sometimes you just need to get out for a while, you know?"

It wasn't that he didn't love the Shrine Keepers; he truly did! It was his home, but old habits were hard to break. "You've got a little....flower, here, on your nose," he reached up to point to his own muzzle.

"Oh I see," Calida tilted her head and wandered closer. "Where are you from? Ah yes, I think our paws get the itch for travel now and then. That's how new things get discovered and such! Oh-" Her eyes went cross-eyed to try to see the flower he mention. When she did she laughed "-oh! Haha, I see." She used her paw to wipe away the clinging piece of nature. "Thanks for letting me know. I must have looked really silly with pelts all over my muzzle! You have a lovely pelt by the way. So many spots." Sometimes she cursed her ability to have conversation ADD and her way of talking tended to throw another off. "Have you found anything interesting in your travels?"

She was just....just a little odder than most lionesses, that was for sure. While it wasn't a calming quality, it could have been considered charming. After all, she certainly was lively enough. "I'm from the Ulili-Mlindaji, or the Shrine Keepers, as we've been called. We take in visitors who wish to pay their respects to the Gods. As such, we've got shrines to as many as we can find care takers for." It seemed like an odd concept, even to him, allowing rogues the freedom to come and go as they pleased.

"Oh?" Fiore wasn't used to being complimented, and it showed. "Thank you, but in my opinion it doesn't hold a candle to yours. A lovely shade of red for such a sweet little flower." He smiled. "As for what I've found on my travels....well, I found you."

"Oh I don't think I've ever come across another from that pride, it sounds interesting enough." Calida nodded her head taking in the information he was giving to her. "Must be a lot of upkeep and though I don't pay homeage to the Gods I still appreciate them--Oh! I don't think I gave you my name?" Cali looked at the other male hestiantly. "It's Calida'Zora and it can be a mouthful." She laughed awkwardly and blushed (though you couldnt really tell because of her dark red fur. "Why thank you for the compliment good sir~ And I see, nothing else interesting? No beautiful plants? Waterfalls to go swimming in? No fields that held hidden treasures?" Cali loved the idea of exploring and adventures, but the thought of leaving home... that wasn't what she wanted.

"Calida'Zora." He repeated to himself. It was an interesting name, for an interesting female, to be sure. He'd have to remember it if he ever came back to the area. "I'm sure it can," He chuckled, "but I think it has a ring to it. Unlike mine - Oh, well, I haven't really introduced myself. My name's Fiore."

The older male paused to contemplate her answer, "Hmm. Well, yes, I suppose I have. I haven't seen any waterfalls, but I have seen streams so wide only a God could swim across. There are prides that follow ancient traditions, some that live underground, and others that are hybrid exclusive."

"Yes Calida'Zora," She nodded to reaffirm her name, "-but you can call me Calida if you wish. Fiore-" The 'r' sound almost purred out. "-I think it is lovely! Oh I see! How exciting I haven't really been away from the Pridelands. I have never come across a God or hybrid yet but have heard they, hybrids, visit here sometimes. Can I join you? Maybe we can hang out for a little while? It should be fine for you to stay for a little while on Pride lands." She bit her lip and hoped that she wasn't breaking any hidden rules but Fiore was interesting and she wanted to get to know him.

Fiore's smile softened. He wasn't a warrior, a hunter, nor was he a scout; just a simple lion that liked charming company, and that he had found in this lioness. While she wasn't exactly what he had been looking for, spending a bit getting to know her certainly would hurt him at all. "I certainly don't see why not. Maybe I can even tell you a few more stories, that is, if you'd like to hear them. I certainly have enough of them." He chuckled.

What was it Xennek had always called him? A stuffy old wind bag who had a story for the dirt between his paws?

She was pleased at his accepting her company, it certainly beat doing nothing all day. Not only that but the possibly of chatting with someone that was new always had been exciting. "I would love to here your stories." She settled in to listen in comfort with her eyes focused on Fiore. She always did love a good story.
