This is Evie's side of the room. It is decorated very femininely with pinks and flower patterns. It's kept very neat, and the window has some floaty airy curtains.

This is Skuld's side of the room - it's kept decently neat but has a plethora of items most people would say are leaning towards the Macabre, one of the most notable item is a stocked Apothecaries Chest at the foot of her bed. She seems to have a nice collection of Monster High dolls though, some modded some not.

Evelyn was very excited to hear that Skuld, the room mate she knew next to nothing about was arriving today. She'd cleaned Skuld's side of the room within an inch of its life and even made some cookies to share in hopes of making a good impression.
She was sitting at her desk quietly working on her sewing machine while keeping an eye on the door. She had a dress that she was working on for her little sister and it was simple enough to be put down at a moment's notice, while being interesting enough to help keep her mind off the immanent arrival.

Skuld had finally convinced her father that she should live at the dorms, under the guise that if anything was really wrong with her along the lines of what Giovanni had been worried about that the Elders would be more equipped to deal with it than he was, as long as she visited on the weekends, which was just fine with her.
Knocking on the door, the Shadow waited a couple of seconds before opening the door and speaking, "I'm coming in - I was told I had a room mate?" she asked though as she saw the side of the room closest to the door she squinted slightly. The closest side of the room to the door was worse than her sisters side of the room at home, bright and always screaming with 'happy' colors.

"Oh yes, please come in, this is your room too." Evie hurried to say, dropping her sewing and standing up. "Um, do you need any help carrying your things in?" Oh my. This was her room mate? She was still a child, a beautiful dark child, but still a child. She couldn't help but be a bit disappointed. She was hoping to have a girl her own age. Oh well.
"My name is Evelyn, but please call me Evie." Even if Skuld was younger she'd make the best of it. Apparently she favored dark colors. What an interesting room they'd have once Skuld settled in.

"Thank you, but I can get my things myself." The darker child stated, offering a sort of smile to the colorful Evelyn which was a little on the hard side considering that since she had been given her medication her moods were even more bland than normal.
As she made her way into the room, taking a quick glance around and seeing the open half of the room, she took the empty bed and set her things next to it. "My name is Skuld. I was told by my father to let you know that I have to take medication to keep certain things away." As she spoke, she dug into the pocket of her dark purple jacket and showed the other girl the orange and white bottle, "He says it'd be good to let whoever I room with know..."

Evie watched Skuld bring her things in by herself and fussed with the dress she was working on. She felf weird not being able to help. But she took the time to watch her room mate and start wanting to make pretty clothes for her. A dark pallette would be just fine. The brighter colors would probably drown her out.
When Skuld told her about the medication she quickly looked at it closely. "Oh, that's not a problem, what time do you take them and where would you like to keep them, so I can tell people if there's an emergency?"

"I take them when I wake up and about 4 hours later.. the ones I need to take when I wake up will be on the bedside table and the others should be next to them unless I'm not going to be near here when I need to take them.." Skuld said simply as she set the bottles of pills down before looking at them, wondering what would happen if she stopped taking her pills one day. Would all the voices come back and be worse like the doctor said?

Evie nodded in response. Skuld needed to take them after waking up and then four hours later. She could remember that.
She settled down with her sewing machine again. "So are you looking forward to any classes?" Maybe she could learn some things about Skuld, even if she seemed somewhat introverted.

The shadow shrugged as she sat down on her bed, and looked at the bright, colorful meta. "I guess so, though most of what I've learned already was from my Father, we practically have the same powers so I would always follow him around when he went to do his job." Skuld stated simply before grabbing one of her dolls and adjusting the clothing on it.

"Oh? What does your dad do? Mine is a boring business man." Evie watched Skuld fiddle with the clothes on her doll. Evie tsked mentally. The problem with doll clothes was that they were usually mass produced cheaply, which meant they rarely ever fit properly. She resisted the urge to offer to fix them right off.
Evie had a tendency to get over her head with projects because she wanted to do something for everyone. "By the way, would you like a chocolate chip cookie? I made them to celebrate getting a room mate!"

"My dad is someone who works with spirits and those who are dead..many call him a Shaman but that's not the right term. He calls himself a 'Spirit Worker' because that's what he does.." Skuld stated as she set the doll down after adjusting the skirt on it, seeing as it had shifted its self during the movement. Looking up at Eve, squinting slightly, she continued on the talk about her father, Giovanni. Even going on to say roughly that his job is how she was adopted from him after she fled from the Academy after being not well taken care of by Tendren after her original family returned her.
"Cookie..?" She asked as she was offered one, sitting up and sliding to the edge of her bed, "Just chocolate chip - nothing funny added in them?" Skuld asked again, used to her sister trying to add different herbs and spiced into her cookies, the last one wasn't too bad but her first try ended up with a cookie that tasted like burnt toast.

Evie didn't know what to say about the whole spirit worker thing. She'd never even contemplated that being a real job. But if anyone would have it, it would be the parent of her very creepy room mate.
"Uh, that's cool. And yes they're just chocolate chip cookies. I stuck by the recipe. Oh dear, you're not allergic to chocolate or anything are you?"

"No, I'm not allergic to anything that I know of." Skuld managed a smile as she ate the cookie, her mind starting to wander a bit as she looked about the room. It was colorful but not as colorful as the room she had shared with her sister before she had managed to bug her dad to let her stay in the dorms, which was nice. Granted her room mate was much more colorful than her sister, but she could get used to that.

"Well I'm glad you're not allergic to anything. My sister is allergic to bees. If she gets stung by one she swells up and has to go to the hospital. It's not pretty." Evie smiled thinking about her family. As much as her little sister was irritating, she still loved her. "Anyway, if you need any help unpacking or decorating or anything let me know. I'd love to help."
