Personality : Felicia is the very upbeat, leader-like character who is the perfect choice for being the boss around the cafe. She understands and has gone through many situations so if you become absent unexpectedly, she will understand if your situation is understandable. Felicia is kind and sometimes bossy. She hates laziness and shuns it in the cafe so don't let her catch you sleeping anytime. For some reason, not many people see her tend to customers, she usually is at the cash register. If you ask her best friend, Mary, why, she will say, "Miss Chocolate is shy around men." meaning that Felicia may seem like she can do anything in the entire world without breaking a sweat, but when it comes to serving men, she can't do a thing. She'll be clumsy and will start tripping on words. It's Felicia's one weakness. Besides all that though, she's the Superwoman Chocolate who can bake cakes, make amazing coffee, and design adorable costumes for Mary to wear. She organizes the cosplay events around the cafe and is the one whom you see smiling every single day. Don't think she's always nice though. Miss Chocolate here can be very serious when the situation needs it and if you get on her bad side, she'll hate you. ,
Mary is the shy, distant character of the cafe who only shows up during the night because during the day, she goes to classes in college. During weekends though, you'll see her help around in the day and night with Felicia, helping customers or making the food. She's a pretty good cook, but Mary is the type who uses exact measurements, unlike Felicia who cooks with her heart; reason being, she's mostly the waitress. She is very selfless, meaning that she will usually sacrifice things for other friends and is the fall-back maid of the cafe also meaning that if you need someone to cover a shift, she's your girl! Mary will help, no matter what, but most of the time, she will overwork herself and if Felicia finds out, someone's dead meat; reason why they only ask Mary to cover little shifts. She is a college student after all, Mary has to study even though she is plenty smart and even though Felicia tells her to go rest on the weekends, Mary still persists on coming to help out her best friend. Mary is the type who never gets angry, but us also the type that rarely smiles.

Background : Felicia, as a child, came from a rich Japanese traditional family. She was the pure bloodline type of girl whom had high expectations from her family to learn how to do many things and as she grew older, they expected her to go to college in America. Her mother was Japanese and her father was American. "Felicia" was the name of her dead grandmother on her father's side. She was given that name because she inherited her quick-growing brown hair from her grandmother. Felicia grew to be rebellious though, and decided to not go to college for unknown reasons. These idea's started when she met Mary. ,
Mary, like Felicia, also came from a Japanese, wealthy family. She was a very delicate and sick child back then, and was raised by servants rather than parents. To this day, she's never known what her mother had looked like. One day, she was introduced to the Chocolate family daughter as a playmate and both became best friends. Felicia was supposed to be Mary's caretaker and her parents expected Mary to grow up and marry someone at the age of 18 since college was not an option for her. Although, for some reason, Felicia pitied her and gave Mary the money to go to college secretly. Mary's parents think that she's working with Felicia in the cafe during the day, when she is going to college and during the night, Felicia goes home to Mary's house with a wig and contacts to act as Mary.

Personality : MaryAnne is the type of person that always thinks of, and does things for others instead of herself. Whether it's helping someone pick out something, to allowing a friend to spend the night, or even rent a place for someone to stay, she will help out anyone in need. MaryAnne is quite shy at times around others, and she only speaks up if she's spoken too or if someone needs help. She's pretty much the type that ends up standing outside a classroom for twenty minutes if the door is closed, due to her not wanting to interrupt the lesson. But even though she's shy, she can befriend any type of person.

Wishes : To one day be able to return to London and see her father again
Background : MaryAnne's mother passed away when she was born, so she as always lived with her father who loves her very much. MaryAnne always does her best to please her father and make him proud. She worked hard in school, was always kind to others around her, and treated everyone with respect. And even though her father was wealthy, she never took advantage of that.
Things started to go wrong when she started Middle School. Some of the school's delinquents started to take an interest in her. When she refused to go out or hang out with them, they began to follow her everywhere, called her everyday, and would approach her whenever she was alone. Though she was highly frightened, she didn't tell her father because he was always busy with work, and she didn't want to bother him. Her father didn't find out until very recently when she was home alone, and they broke into her home. In order to protect MaryAnne, her father decided that it woud be best if she left London for a while. MaryAnne now lives alone in an apartment, and attends Night School. At the cafe she suggests to be called "Anne" so that the customers and fellow employees don't get confused by she and Mary Vanilla's names.
Why did they become a Maid / Butler : "I chose to be a Maid because I've always been interested in cafes, and I'm very good at making sweets and desserts. Plus I didn't want my father to have to pay for my rent and all, so I'm earning my money myself."

Personality : Aeron is the easy-going character in the cafe who faces life as it comes, which makes her one of the more approachable butlers in the cafe. People have a hard time telling her true gender, which got her cast as a Butler instead of a maid, but she doesn't mind, in fact she enjoys peoples' reactions to when they do find out her real gender. Due to the fact that she sometimes adds innocent compliments to her customers as she takes orders, Aeron is one of the more popular Butlers. This doesn't mean that she's always pleasant, in fact if you piss her off she's more likely going to give you an extreme case of cold shoulder, in which she pretends you are dead and never mentions you.

Touma is a gentleman, literally. He would open doors and help out anyone in need. He's also acts like a kind of older brother to his childhood friend, Junpei. Touma would always look out his other co-workers in case they need assistance, not because it's his job, but for what he really genuinely wants to help them. Sometimes, he can lose his paitence with Junpei, due to his cluelessiness so he tends to rush in on giving him adivce like an older brother would, or he would make Junpei a fool out of himself, so he would learn to laugh at himself once in a while. Touma is a big complimenting; flirting person to almost anyone, he uses his gentleman charm on newcomers as well as giving them the best service so, they would come back to the cafe.

Background :
Tomua grew up into a middle-class farming family out in the country side, but the neighborhood he grew up was very upsetting since most of the families living around his was poor, and that's how he met his best friend, Junpei. Whenever Touma wasn't helping his little 'brother', he was in his room practing on his vocal notes as he heard the radio played random songs. But, his father forced him to give up on his practices, instead Touma was sent to help his mother in the fields and the kitchen. Touma eventually got the hang at cooking dishes as well as baking sweet treats to hand out to the less fortunate familes, encluding Junpei's family. Both, Junpei and Touma never hand siblings, so they bacame brother, of course they officially annouced it when they realized that they always had each other backs. In high school, Touma had adverage grades, only because he was too focused on singing, and he'd eventually learned to play the violin. He had won a few awards at talent shows, as he displayed his singing and violin playing to the whole school. Touma along with Junpei recieved sholorships for college in the big city. So, they packed their bags after finishing high school, and headed to a new apartment they purchased together, from the earning they had done back in their hometown by doing odd jobs for the people. Touma soon applied to work at Chocolate and Vanilla's Cafe, shortly after his arrival, so he decided to challenge himself by going for the Vice-Butler job.

Junpei can be an extreamly nice guy to anyone, but he's mostly quiet and keeps to himself. Though, his childhood friend, Touma, has always countless of times directed Junpei on a better path to opening up to people. He can be somewhat clueless towards girls feelings for him, since his mind is always thinking about something else, or he's just ultimatly oblivious to their feelings. Junpei has an easy going laid-back type of attitude, that makes people relay on him when it comes to keeping secrets. He's rarely gets mad, but he's more of the peace keeper, he hates when people fight or argue. Junpei gets flustered easily by compliments towards him, cause he's never used to them except from Touma, who he believe does it just to make him feel better about himself.

Background :
Junpei grew up in a below weathly house. He hardly had enough clothes, so he had hand-me-downs from the older boy next door from where there family lived. The older boy was none other than, Touma. Junpei followed Touma like a little lost puppy, as his friend showed him the ropes at things, such as playing childish games and finding all the cool hiding places. He was a quiet boy, growing Touma usually spoke for him when ever they got in trouble. Junpei really admired the older boy's courage, and decided that he would speak for himself from now on. During Junpei's high school days a lot of girls grew fondly of him due to his kind and innocent nature. But, they all had their dreams crushed since Junpei never really understood their feelings of 'liking' him. Touma scolded him for that, and from then on Junpei was known as a heartbreaker, though he never intentionally did hurt them. Junpei marked the best grades in his classes, which landed him scholorships for fancy college that allowed him to enter, which was located in the city. So, he and Touma made their way into the city got an apartment together. Junpei hopes to improve on his writing skils as well as improving himself.

Personality : Chieko is a friendly individual who strives to be the best at her job. She cares for her fellow co-workers partly because she doesn't want to see what happened to Aiko happen to them. Chieko is one of the most optimistic person you will meet, and she welcomes everyone into the cafe, regardless of who they are.

Wishes : "I want my mother and sister to get better, and for my dad to come back."
Background : Chieko was a happy child when she was younger, even though her dad had disappeared at the age of 3, she had a close bond with her mother and sister, which led to her having a normal childhood all the same. Her sister worked hard to support their family and often worked extra shifts at the maid cafe (Aiko was the vice maid before Chieko) to provide everything they needed while Chieko stayed at school. The girl had no idea that Aiko worked at the maid cafe, she only knew that Aiko had a steady job somewhere, and it was only after the incident that Chieko knew her sister's life. Coming home from working shifts, Aiko had been involved in a car crash, and that led to her collapsing into a coma. To carry on the role of being breadwinner, Chieko applied at the maid cafe and eventually got promoted to vice.

Personality : Luna is a very kind and caring person, and can express her feelings in the most dramatic of ways. She is often seen smiling, but when no one's looking, she is daydreaming with her eyes half closed in that relaxed look. She will sometimes bring a sketchpad and pencil with her wherever she goes, but sometimes she just walks around aimlessly. She often seems as if she's searching for something, something she believes will complete her life.

Background : Luna was raised by good parents who loved, and still love, her. When she reached college, she said her teary-eyed farewells to her parents, then left to College. When Luna found the sweets shop and started frequenting it, she always ordered something to go for her little brother, and her parents.

Just your average every day misunderstood trouble maker! I'm known to be the girl that always causes some kind of problem. Either I'm being rebellious and defiant to whatever it is someone asks of me, or I'm up to no good just because it's what I find fun. Now, I'm not all bad of course. I can actually be pretty awesome. I love to party and almost everything can be funny to me so it's hard not to see me laughing or smiling. I can be hyper and energetic too. Definitely a motivator for some people. Yet I have a big soft weak spot for kids and anything that's too adorable! I really just can't help it! However, I don't like to show it often. My reputation is to be the blunt, outspoken, wild child who does nothing but break the limits and boundaries set around herself. No one would respect me the same if they saw me turn all mushy over seeing a cute puppy. They wouldn't see me as the tough girl anymore. I won't even admit to anyone about my amazing artistic ability unless I'm using it as graffiti to destroy public property. No one truly knows of the sweet, creative, and imaginative person I can be. So, in a way, I'm also deceitful in order to keep up my image. It's pretty tiring sometimes.

My life story isn't all that great, trust me. It started off with my hippie of a mother falling in love with a heartbreaking rockstar. Then came their love child also known as little ole' me! My parents never got married, but they did try to live together for a while to take care of me. However, the rockstar life meant the world to my dad. He couldn't give it up. So eventually, it became too much to balance family and rock. He made his decision and we never heard from him again. Well, except for the media of course. After a while his career went down the drain since no one was interested in his style anymore. Karma can be quite funny, huh?
My mom never really regretted loving him or having me. She wasn't even that upset when he decided to leave. When I was old enough to understand, I asked her why it was so easy for her to let him go. The only explanation I got was if you really love something, you have to let it go. If it doesn't come back then it was never truly yours. Yeah, that hippie mumbo jumbo. But it did make sense and I couldn't blame her for feeling that way. I just didn't agree with it and there was no way I'd ever forgive the man if he ever came back.
The years went by and my mother and I had a lot of fun with just the two of us. She would show me all kinds of things about the art world and she even inspired me to become an artist. I would watch her every day in her makeshift studio as she worked on pottery, crafting, or just splashing paint on a canvas to release her anger towards the outside world. All of it was too fascinating. It was hard not to get swept up in the passion of it all. It was that creativity that eventually lead me to becoming a rebel though. I followed in my mother's flower power footsteps. I questioned the rules of society. I questioned authority. I questioned everything I could because I wanted answers to it all, but no one could provide them. Though, I wasn't quite as destructive or annoying with it like I am now. No, that all changed when my mother died.
My mother didn't like to use medicine and she never believed in a doctor's ability to help. That was the downfall of her hippie ways. She ended up getting sick and no matter how much I protested, she wouldn't get the necessary treatments. She thought that if she was meant to get better then her body would fight and then it would all be ok. I guess it wasn't meant to be ok though. She died a few weeks after my birthday and I knew she had been fighting so hard to last in order to celebrate that day with me. After I lost her, the only light I had in my life, I became a true die hard wild child. I didn't care what anyone said anymore. I did whatever I wanted and if anyone didn't like it well to hell with them then! My aunt took me in after my mother's death and she basically hates me. Her daughter always tries to make me some model clone of today's acceptable standards. They're nothing but greedy rich spoiled brats. They're the only home I have though so I have to just deal with it. It's not all bad since I found this neat little cafe and I've been going there ever since! Well, as long as it's at night when my aunt is too busy with dinner parties or other things I don't ever want to know about.

Personality : Beke is a kind, smart and a bit of mad girl and in this case mad meaning open-minded. As long as others are happy she will be happy.
Wishes : travel the world making new adventures
Background : As a child Beke was always wandering off looking for adventure and excitement in her small town in germany. She was obsessed with the story called Alice in Wonderland and at the orphanage she would always have someone older than her read it to her before she went to sleep with the hope of venturing to Wonderland herself like Alice did. Except she could totally handle herself better than that girl ever did.
Beke lost her parents in a horrible car accident and no reletives would take her for believing she was strange leaving Beke to stay at the orphanage until now. At seventeen she moved out on her own and goes to night school in order to get an education. Things were going great until the rent bill came and it was time to get a job. Beke has a thick german accent so she might on accident switch to speaking german than back to english. Which is why she rather clean than read off the menu.
Why did they become a Maid / Butler : "to pay off my rent of my apartment and be close to Anne in case I need her help outside of night school. Besides cleaning is the only thing i did while at the orphanage, i'll probably die cleaning..."

Personality : Noah is a firm but caring man as he attempts to keep things on check. He is kind and gentle but, if the situation calls for it he will be very strict as he doesn't want the place to burn down. He is a focused fellow who keeps track of time by means of checking his pocket watch. He has a soft spot for tiny animals and if he sees any he will immediately be highly protective of it, nonetheless Noah always strives to keep himself and his composure in check. He also has a tendency to speak some words in french and speaks average English.
Job : Head butler
Wishes : "To fulfill the dreams of others by guiding them to their correct path in life"
Background : Noah was born in Paris, France by a poor widowed french woman. Throughout all his life Noah had to help his mother by getting part time jobs and working day and night. He never knew his father and when he asked his mother she told him he died of a weak heart, and that Noah too has a extremely poor heart. Nonetheless she told him of how his father being a butler to a high status rich family and of how his fathers family blood line consisted of servants of butlers and maids alike. Noah then realized that he wanted to live up to his fathers expectations and care for his mother at the same time, but matters struck for the worse as his mother died of a spread sickness. All she left him (or was able to leave him) was his fathers pocket watch. Now in present time Noah has learn to work at the cafe of chocolate and Vanillas as a head butler and now works as a man to lead others to their dreams.
Why did they become a Maid / Butler : To be just like his father and be of service to others as both physically and emotionally and to see smiles on everyone's faces as he serves them.

Be careful what you say though, because Yasu is sensitive to criticism and insults due to low self-confidence. Job : Maid #2 Wishes : " To be accepted as I am." Background : Yasu grew up in an overbearing traditionalist family with a week body. As a child he was dressed like a girl in hopes that he would soon grow stronger, but he didn't get that much stronger. Dressing in women's clothing keeps him calm, but his feminine appearance digs into his self-confidence. His parents aren't very proud of him, and pretty much kicked Yasu out of the house. He was bouncing between jobs, when Felicia pretty much hired him as soon as she saw him.
