Mari had shifted this morning to find not just her flit nestled on her bed, stealing all the covers in a sort of nest but four eggs. She hadn't even known that Sokka had been gravid, the little green had been eating more but she had thought Sokka was growing or merely being greedy. Not bursting with eggies and they were lovely eggs at that. All sort of colors, some even a bit oddly shaded but eggs never less.
So, she took the moment to shift the eggs, gently, ooh so gently into a large egg pot to keep warm. She needed her blankets, thank you. And when she had a moment of free time, she rounded up her little green and tried to ask her who the father was. Mari really didn't expect Sokka to remember, she was a forgetful little thing but there was four eggs. She would like to attempt to give one or two to the owner of the father if possible.
Sokka chirped, fluttered her wings and had darted off with a plan in mind. Mari followed the flit in the healer quarters? This seemed a tad odd, but still eggs... she didn't need five flits.

As an apprentice Becka went with her master when he went to the weyr, whether it was for her training or just a visit she didn't know but she was dealing with new things, not always the easiest thing for Becka to deal with .
She woke that morning with the intention of doing inventory. She reached to the foot of her bed to where Happy was usually snuggled up, unless he was laying on her, which he wasn't..... and he wasn't there, instead he was chirping from a rafter, staring intently towards the door "Happy what is it?" She got up and dressed quickly, just some light pants and a tunic. She was tugging on her boots when Happy's chirruping intensified and he went Between. "Is someone sick Happy?!" she asked to the empty air, sighing a little. Most likely there was either a female Flit rising... or something.
She opened the door to find Happy flapping circles with a Green ... well she didn't LOOK like she was wanting a mate right now, Perhaps this was one of Happy's many flit friends. It made her smile a bit however "Happy... can't you tell your friends that it's too early?!" she scolded half heartedly, it was just so CUTE seeing the two almost playing, she didn't notice a girl heading her way.

Sokka cooed, happily flying around the bronze and cheerfully started to chatter to the larger male flits she had eggs. They were pretty and shiny, and they were hers. She had eggies, and her human had moved them into a nice pot and she would teach them to sing. Would he like to see her eggies? Sokka would love to show them to him.
Well, that might answer the question of who possibly knocked up her flit. Mari looked the girl over as she walked up. She was a small thing, young and with dirty colored hair. "Hello, is that your flit?" She question, motioning to the bronze. Sokka was being a chatty little thing, nearly screaming her delight over something. "If it is, do you want an few eggs?"

Happy warbled happily, yes he liked eggs, His liked eggs, he would like to see them in their pot and see her teach them to sing! Happy loved everyone and everything.
Becka startled, caught up in her flit she hadn't noticed the other girl approach at all. She blinked and looked at her, the other girl was older than her for sure. "Oh .. yes that's Happy" she said, turning her eyes to the flits cavorting "a few.. eggs? ... oh no i'm not looking for breakfast yet, i have patients to check over when my master wakes" she said, smiling and completely missing the point because Happy was too caught up in himself and the green to bother sending anything back to his owner about eggs.

"I wouldn't put flit eggs in a omelet," Mari said and eyed the girl as if she was stupid or a bit simple. Finally she decided it was just too sharding early and the girl hadn't fully awaken yet. "That little green up there is my Sokka. She laid four eggs this morning and the moment I tried to get an idea of who she mated with, she ran over to your bronze." The Bronze was a pretty little thing, a acceptable mate for her Sokka and perhaps they would have a good clutch of eggs.
Sokka cooed and nuzzled against Happy before landing on her owner. The little green started combing and nibbling on Mari's hair, trying to get her owner to produce her eggs. Happy wanted to see them. Eggies, eggies, eggies!

Becka almost facepalmed FLIT eggs... of COURSE the girl had meant flit eggs... she groaned just a little to herself and gave the girl a wry smile "Sorry, still sleep fuddled" Wait... did she just say her flit had eggs... and that she thought Happy was the father?! Becka's eyes widened. "Oh...." it was lame.. but all she could say right now. "eggs.. Happy... um.. she's a real pretty green" she said, smiling now Happy finally settled down a little.
Happy chirruped again, and landed heavily on Becka's shoulder, causing the girl to wince a little at both the talons and the urgings from the bronze of gogogogo now eggs green, look look LOOOOOOOK!

Mari chuckled softly and nodded, reaching up absently to scratch the Sokka's eye ridges. "I don't have your eggs on me, you silly thing. They are back in the room." She tipped her head, giving the girl a look over and nodded. "Would you like to see them?" She asked. "I really can't have four flits and Sokka seems rather attached to your little bronze. So, we could split the clutch evenly."

Becka giggled lightly when the girl spoke to her green then coughed "I'm Becka....." she'd have said more but the girl asked if she wanted to see the eggs and becka's eyes widened "Oh yes please!...but.. oh .. i couldn't take any eggs.." Happy churred in annoyance "M...maybe just one" she laughed, which set Happy off warbling and flying circles above the two girls' heads.

"One down, three to go... if you have anyone you think should have an egg, just tell me." Mari waved her hand and started back to her room. "I'm Mari. Drop by anytime if you care to."
Sokka chirped at Happy, watching the bronze fly and fluttered her wings. The little green remained perched on Mari's shoulder, content to be taken to her eggs.

Becka smiled "I..i wouldn't know, perhaps one of the less sick patiens would like one?... pets are so helpful for recovery" she said, smiling. She'd never been offered an egg before .. let alone TWO.. Happy she had found as an almost newborn hatchling, probably driven by a storm or something, only days old. She'd nursed him back to health and he'd stayed with her.
"Oh... but i don't know where you are staying" she said to the older girl, blinking.

Mari chuckled, pausing mid step of turning around. "Come along, Becka. I'm in the candidate quarters with my siblings." She smiled and turned around, reaching out to grasp and tuck the girl's arm in hers. "It is rather plain, but that is alright. I'll have it gorgeous in no time."
Mari beamed. "Eggs to patients, why not. It could be good for them."

Becka didn't know what to make of Mari when the girl tucked her arm into becka's and let her along, she was never one for 'girly' bonding but hey.. Mari seemed nice enough so she smiled and went along, Happy continuing to circle them, darting back and forth occasionally. "Plain is good... you might not be there long.. once there's a Clutch on the sands, your dragon might be there" she said cheerfully "gives them something to focus on besides their illness or injury" she added, shop-talk was good.

"Still, the only color in my room is my clothes and my collection of shoes. That is just horrible isn't it? I should have a nice rug at least to warm it up some." Mari chattered as she led Becka to her room. "You should let me do something to your hair... it is a bit plain isn't it? But some beads or ribbons would give it some fabulous color."
Sokka cooed softly, watching the bronze and finally launched herself at him. The green flit skimmed over and trilled before sharply turning, leading Happy off to Mari's room and her eggs.

Becka blushed "I wouldn't know, i'm not too big on colorful things.. besides flits that is" she smiled awkwardly. "Rugs are good for when it's cold though" she admitted, remembering the chill of a cold floor whenever bare feet were placed upon it. She wasn't too sure what to make of the girl but she sure was confident and her attitude couldn't help but cheer Becka, she smiled a bit more, blushing again when her hair was mentioned "p..plain?.. oh well .. i don't need anything fancy when i've got it tied back when i'm doing my lessons" Happy almost burst with excitement when Sokka launched herself at him, he dipped as she skimmed over and did a loop-de-loop as she turned, he was going where the eggs were how dreadfully exciting he wanted to see the eggs yes yes he did! He followed as fast as his wings could take him.

Sokka chirped and between through the door. She twisted and dove, landing on the bed and cooed, clambering over to the pot with her eggs on the floor, near the hearth. The little green clambered up the side and perched on the rim, looking over the four eggs and cooed. She had such pretty eggs.
"You should at least have a bit of color, something vibrantly shaded, red or purple. Would you let me do your hair? Perhaps braiding it? Two braids near the front that are pulled back and tied in a wide ribbon, I have a purple one with white trim that would look just perfect." Mari pat Becka's arm and opened the door to her room, sauntering in. "The egg pot is on the floor by the hearth."
