Name: Colette DuLapin (ko-let doo-lah-pahn)
Nickname: none have ever been given to her
Birthplace: Wardwood equivalence of France
Age: 18
Gender: Female
Orientation: Heterosexual
Occupation: Sells what she can of her very small farm (she grows enough to eat, and a little more for some crown)
Home: A small cottage between Oldcastle and Wardwood, with a decent sized meadow nearby where farms.
Religion: Follows the Old Ways
Parents: Florentine DuLapin, Luc DuLapin - farmers (both deceased)
Siblings: None
Appearance: Colette is petite, but has a decent set of hips despite her small frame. Her hair is the shade of pale wheat, and she usually keeps them in two braids. Her skin is cream-colored with rosy cheeks. Her eyes are peculiar however, because she was born blind. They are pale, pale blue like a snowy expanse and glossed over. Her manner of dress is simple and modest, consisting of a white blouse and dark blue bodice, a lighter blue skirt that ends just above her ankles, and thin brown boots. On cold days she dons a capelet and hood as well. She carries a worn, oak walking stick carved by her father, and wears a gold brooch that was once her mother's. The trinket is the only item of high value she owns.
Personality: Colette is incredibly shy and soft spoken. She's also jumpy and afraid of anything. Most likely because she can't actually see what's happening. This makes her somewhat of a crybaby. But the girl is kind and would be devoted to anyone who returned that kindness. She is reclusive and modest, living her days with nearly nothing to her name, in between ruins and woods. She's lived alone most of her life and desires companionship with someone smarter than her dogs. While normally a pacifist, Colette has always been enamored with the stories of the Wolves. She admired their strength and ferocity. They were strong, and she was weak; they were everything she was not. She would find herself wishing to be more like a wolf, despite them being depicted as monsters. Something that always troubled her. Why did they fight the humans? Surely something that can speak our language had a motive. They couldn't be as bad as everyone thought.
But Colette is naiive, and still lives hoping for a fairytail.
History: Colette had a tough life, ever since the moment she was born. It was bad enough that she was blind, though she can get around a little thanks to her two small, shaggy looking dogs named Hati and Skoll, as young and mischievous as they are. Her parents even let her help on their farm. But after a fire broke out in her family home, she lost everything, even her own mother and father. With nowhere to go and only her late parents' meager savings, she left her hometown and came to Sunderland. Strangers were kind enough along the way to help her get to where she needed, feeling pity on the blind orphan. One even let her buy an old cottage by the Wardwood. He inherited it from his own parents, but never moved in since he lived in a better house. She has since settled in, using what she knew about growing crops to eat and make enough crown to buy any supplies she needed. She only has a walking stick and brooch to remember her parents by, and treats them as more valuable than all the gold crown in the world.
Assets: A small cottage and farm, with various vegetables and one apple tree. She owns one goat, two dogs, two chickens, and one rooster. She has two sets of clothes and barely enough furniture, utensils, and tools for one person to live decently.
