Extra: Uani has a 'never quit, never say die' kind of personality. However when she encounters an Uchiha, she can't hold back her hatred for them.

Life's story: The Aramori clan, a clan who's ninja were not only relatively weak but also few in number, was never regarded highly by the world. Very few would bother paying the clan to do missions, and they were thought of as easy prey by the much larger and stronger clans. The only reason that the clan had been able to survive was because of its alliance with the Senju clan. While the Aramori clan lacked strength or skill, their unique abilities made them excellent spies and thieves, they were very useful in gathering information for the Senju. It was said that the Aramori's couldn't be defeated in battle, merely because they ran so fast one could never catch up to them in order to defeat them. With their own elusiveness and the Senju's strength defending them, even the small number of Aramori ninja that there were were able to operate in relative safety.
Uani was born to the clan head (the clan was very odd in the fact that women were the leaders instead of men, something that had to do with the inheritance of the clan kekei genkai) and as the only female child of the clan head, she was eventually to become clan head herself. However, that never came to be, because of the treachery of the Uchiha clan.
The Uchihas, who had lost many battles with the Senju due to the meddling of the Aramori clan, knew that the small clan was something that they would have to deal with. They arranged a meeting with Ashino, the clan head, with what they said was an offer for them to break their alliance with the Senju. While Ashino had no plans on actually breaking her alliance, she had hoped to make some kind of accord with the Uchiha. However the meeting ended up being a trap. Naturally, the Aramoris didn't try to confront the mighty Uchiha clan and instead used their skills at fleeing to escape, however the meeting had been a diversion, and while the clan head was away some Uchiha ninja had broken into the Aramori compound and kidnapped Uani, who was young and hadn't mastered her kekei genkai yet.
When Ashino returned home to see slain guards and find her daughter missing, she ordered her two sons and all the best fighters that they had to come with her to rescue Uani, while sending one of the fastest ninja she had to make it to the Senju compound and request aid. She knew that alone they couldn't hope to defeat the Uchiha, her people were only there to make sure no harm came to Uani and that her position wasn't lost, only the Senju would be able to handle actual combat with the Uchiha. However, the Uchiha had forseen them sending for aid, and they set a trap for the ninja heading to the Senju compound, eliminating him and any chance at receiving aid.
As Ashino and her men chased after Uani's kidnappers, they were slowly picked off one by one by what was only a handful of uchiha ninja. She had to watch her own two sons die right in front of her eyes, and right in front of the eyes of Uani as well. The sight of watching her brothers slain left a scar on Uani's heart, and what she saw next made it even deeper. Her mother attacked the man that was holding on to her, and while Ashino was outclassed in strength, she was able to outsmart the man and use her kekei genkai, going for what looked like an attack at his back before warping herself in front of him and stabbing him through the torso with a kunai. However, her attack didn't incapacitate fully, and using his arm like a blade he stabbed her through her torso. The man then threw her to the floor, knowing she was already as good as dead, as was the rest of the attack force the Aramori had sent. He was just about to let Uani's death be the last thing Ashino saw, however before he could, he felt his entire body lock up. The kunai that Ashino had stabbed him with had been coated with poison, he could already feel his body burning up from the inside and he couldn't even move. Gathering as much strength as she could, Ashino rose to her feet, grabbed her daughter, and began making her way back to the Aramori compound as quickly as she could.
As Ashino and Uani made it to the compound, however, they saw that it was ablaze. The Uchiha were mopping up the last of the people inside, even the children and those that couldn't defend themselves. Since it had taken so little of the Uchiha's manpower to eliminate the group sent to attack, it was easy to sneak a few past to attack the compound directly, and with its strongest fighters gone it didn't stand much of a chance. Ashino knew she didn't have much time, she wanted at least one of her children to survive. She made her way to the Senju compound, a long trip that she knew she wouldn't survive, she just had to hold on for Uani's sake. Uani, who had been crying so much that she had nearly run out of tears could only look up as her mother, covered in blood and barely able to stand kept on going for her sake, never giving up, and it was a vision that would stay with her for the rest of her life.
Ashino had just come into view of the Senju gates when her vision began to blur and her body could take no more. As she fell to the ground, Uani tried to lift her up, trying to carry her like she had been carried, but it was no use, she was too little. As Uani looked down to her, her eyes filled with tears, Ashino looked up with a smile.
"This is...a difficult lesson...for someone so young to learn. Death...comes to us all...eventually. I know...everything that's happened hurts...but when you're hurting...is when you should...smile the widest..."
Uani saw the smile on her mother's face and heard her words. She didn't know how her mother could be smiling at a time like this, but she was definitely an amazing person. Wiping her eyes, Uani tried her hardest to give her mother one last smile.
"Never let anything...take that smile...away from you. As long as you...can keep smiling...then you'll know that...I'm proud of you..."
Five years later, Uani, now the last of the Aramori ninja, officially became a Senju ninja. She was thankful to the Senju clan for taking her in and the funeral they gave for her mother and the others from her clan that were slain. Though she lost her entire clan, Uani always seemed to be upbeat and happy, something that many found strange after the tragedy that she had witnessed. It came from her mother, however, now that she was older she understood her mother a bit more. She wanted her not to focus on bitterness and revenge, but to reaching for happiness. Though her hatred for the Uchiha clan would never wane, she knew not to let it control her, wasting her life trying to get revenge would just be a waste of her mother's sacrifice.

The Aramori clan began as nothing more than a family of bandits and thieves. They were a minor annoyance in the land, and had nothing to do with the ninja world except for the occasional team of genin sent to wipe out some of the ones that were causing too much trouble for the land. All this changed when the group developed its kekei genkai. It is said that they stole a scroll containing information on a forbidden technique and learned to master it, but that wouldn't explain why only the females in the clan have it and why the ability was passed down through the generations. Anyway, the true beginning of the Aramori clan was after their kekei genkai was born.
Their kekei genkai allowed the women of the clan to teleport. In actuality, they were breaking their bodies down into light particles and moving them at light speed, appearing in a different place in an instant. This greatly improved the threat that the Aramori clan was, the women of the clan could slip into almost anywhere, take whatever the clan wanted, and get out before anyone could catch them. Even the ninja that they had feared before had trouble catching them.
However, the head of the clan (who was male, this was before females became the heads) wanted the knowledge that the ninja clans possessed, sending his thieves into the ninja clan compounds to gather information and any scrolls on the secret of the techniques that they used. This wasn't something that the ninja clans were going to stand for, and they all began to track the Aramori clan down to wipe it out. At the time the women of the clan, the ones with the ability and who were risking their lives stealing from ninja, asked the clan head to stop angering the ninja, saying he was just instigating a fight with them that they couldn't win. He, however, was obsessed with the ninja techniques and thought instead to learn from what they had stolen and face the ninja as equals and drive them back. Most of the information they had gathered, however, was incomplete and imperfect, the men trying to learn the ninja techniques found little success, and those who did succeed didn't learn the techniques correctly, so they were nowhere near as potent as the ones the ninja could use.
When the ninja clans found where the clan was hiding, they immediately began assaulting them, trying to wipe the group out. The clan head had grand designs of defeating all of the ninja clans at once and turning the Aramori clan into a ninja clan itself, the strongest one in the land. Even seeing half of his people taken down with only minutes of fighting didn't change his mind, he still believed they would win, his obsession driving him insane. However his own daughter saw how mad he had become and that their people were in danger of all being slaughtered, so she slew her father. Being the only child he had, she claimed to be in charge and quickly surrendered to the ninja, returning everything they could and swearing to change the clan's thieving ways.
When the new clan head came into power, it didn't take long for the rest of the clan to accept it. The women in the clan were the ones born with the clan's unique abilities, without them it would just return to being a clan of lowly bandits, it only made sense they no longer wished for someone else to be in command of their power. Soon, the Aramori unable to return to being a pack of thieves, decided to begin studying the way of the ninja again, this time without stealing from others. The new clan head, who was much more wise than her father was, knew that the clan's talents lied in hiding and escaping, and the ninja began to train in those fields. It took a few decades, but eventually the clan became recognized as an actual ninja clan. However with its weak combat strength, everyone knew they wouldn't last if they angered any of the more powerful clans, so they typically avoided other ninja, even if it meant bailing out on a mission.
Eventually a young woman named Ashino became the clan head. She was known for her stunning looks and her shrewd diplomacy skills. She approached the Senju clan with the idea of an alliance, trading the Aramori's specialized skill set for protection, which was a deal that benefited both parties greatly, that was until a few decades later when the Aramori clan was destroyed by the Uchiha.
While men of the Aramori clan aren't born with any special abilities or detriments, women of the clan are all born with their unique kekei genkai. However, the ability comes with its drawbacks; the ability to break their bodies into particles of light disrupts the normal flow of chakra, making it lesser than that of average ninja. Gathering chakra and performing techniques becomes more difficult and energy consuming.
