Uuni was an equal-opportunity pervert. The rogue-lands could have their terrible bias, where woman were viewed as inferior. The prides could commit their atrocities in the name of a male's superiority.

However, the goddess of blood magic was going to get her kicks playing the entire situation in reverse.

Oh, she'd found him, little handsome devil.

Lazily, she sat in the shade, eyes scanning over his near figure. She'd disguised herself as the trees and the bushes while he hunted. Her pale eyes moved up his hind legs, lingered beneath his tail and swept towards other places as if suddenly bored.

Then, as he thought he was getting close, she released the illusion for quite another. To most, she was just another lioness whose hair was too long, and whose eyes were too full of ice.

"Hey, handsome. You like hunting, hm? Seems kind of boring, how about I catch you instead."

It had been a long time. How long, Samedi wasn't sure - he never was, with these things. A day, a year, a thousand years, sometimes he slept lightly and other times he slept like the dead (at least, the dead he hadn't used yet. The thought made him chuckle). But no matter how he long he dreamed, something always roused him and drew him back here. Some unseen thread pulled him persistently back to the world of the living.

Of course, he wasn't one to complain.

Despite the irony of his domain (or perhaps because of it), Samedi was meant to be among the living. This was were the fun was! The other gods could have their stuffy haven, he wanted all his toys! What was the point of life, if you couldn't live it up?

He was never hungry, or really thirsty, but that didn't mean he couldn't enjoy a hunt or two. A large prize would certainly impress a girl. And impressed girls... well. Samedi grinned.

The only trouble was with the actual finding of a girl to charm. Killing prey would be easy.

"Erg." Samedi grunted and scratched himself, giving the problem a few minutes of thought. Being inherently lazy, he decided he'd kill something first.

His wings were hidden, as were his horns - hard to hunt with, they were. And the girls didn't like them much, it seemed (Pah!). He was just closing in a large buck when the bushes became a lioness. Or... did the lioness just emerge from the bushes? Samedi blinked, staring at her, as his prized prey launched itself forward in an largely ignored attempt at escape.

The god of the undead narrowed his as he inspected her. She sure was a pretty one, always was. So much for finding a girl! He grinned wolfishly, white teeth flashing.

"I'm usually the hunter, darling." He looked her over with feigned disinterest and flicked his tail. His eyes swept towards the fleeing buck, and back to her. "You've scared my prey away. I think you owe me something in return."

Oh, he was? How fascinating.

Uuni was already rolling her eyes, and not just in her mind. The lioness was physically, actually rolling her eyes at him.

"Huh," she said, getting up and stretching. The rogue lands hadn't changed. Uuni flicked her eyes over him again, this time without the roll at the end.

"Cut the crap."

Games were nothing the goddess was inclined to play, well, unless she was the one orchestrating them. Even then, they could hardly be classified as the manipulative, toying supposed genius of a rogue male.

"Your type only wants two things: Food, or a ********. Which is it?"
PostPosted: Fri Jan 04, 2013 7:52 pm

Huh. That was strange. Usually females fell head over tail for that line. Or, whatever variant he happened to whip out. They didn't roll their eyes and get bitchy. Samedi canted his head to the side, regarding her with one red eye and one milky white. Odd. He watched intently as she stretched, his gaze following the smooth flow of her muscles.

... a challenge. That's what this was. Well, he accepted. He could play games. He could play games ON games UNDER games. But the question was, how to play this one?

Because, damn him (his lips twitched at the thought), damn him if he'd play the princess for too long.

He briefly toyed with the idea of revealing his godhood, but with his domain what it was, he decided to hold that card in reserve. For now.

Her last question perked him back up (in more ways than one).

"My type?" He echoed, his grin returning. "My type. We like eating almost as much as we like killing what we eat, but not as much as we like eating what we ********." He paused, frowning. "No wait. Scratch that last bit. I meant '******** whatever we want'. " He gave her a lazy smile. "Sorry, no blood flow to my brain right now."

Oh, he was one of those crazy ones, too. Eating what he ********>. Uuni's nose wrinkled up into her face as she considered this. It wasn't common that she distastefully declined any sort of lion, but here she was considering.

Unless. . .

Uuni smiled at him. No, he had just fumbled his words. Though one could never be too careful. Then, she laughed.

"No, it's all gone to your backside." The word the goddess actually used was far more crass, and she flicked her eyes knowing towards what she'd mentioned.

"Still trying to talk s**t. I want you." She relented, Uuni's voice smooth despite its abruptness. What she had in mind was much, much different than what she imagined must be going through his.

"But if you want to play games, we can make a deal instead." Any smart lion would know not to make a deal. But he was one clearly run by his p***s.

Samedi's mind had several simple thoughts it tended to orbit, when given no immediate direction. Usually these were based around food, not working, and sex (the latter being the most frequented of the three by far). It did this all on its own, with no outside help.

At the moment, with the possibility of sex being dangled in front of him like a fish on a line, Samedi's mind was revolving rapidly (and, for the most part, unalterably), around the idea of a good ********.

"Ah, you've noticed." The big lion grinned. Some females wanted nice words. He liked this one, blunt in all the right ways (and rounded in the right ways, too). "Hard not to, eh?"

Her proposition made his grin widen into something closer to a leer. However, he wasn't without natural suspicions; after all, he'd been around in more ways than one. The word 'deal' rocked his mind in its orbit for a brief second. But he was also supremely, foolishly confident in his godhood and abilities. A mortal lioness, no matter how quick with her words, was just that - mortal.

The possibility of her own immortality never crossed his oxygen-starved brain.

"A deal, is it, darling?" Samedi laughed. "What do you have in mind?"

"Hard, yes."

The lioness grinned at her own joke. She shifted, stood, and tossed her mane to the other side of her neck.

Slowly, she began to circle a full loop around him, eyes pausing where they wanted, and moving where they wanted. When he was standing still, she could certainly see the beauty of him. It was no wonder his head had grown an ego.

In the dominant attraction of the rogue-lands, he fit every poor girl's wanting dreams. Briefly, she wondered how many hearts he'd broken. Thankfully, such attachments made her entirely too sick to fall for, and beauty was always a bonus and not a deciding factor.

"Mmmm." What to do with him. He'd have to give a proper, bloody sacrifice for this.

"I'll let you take me," she began, surveying his face as she came to a stop. "But everything that you do, every act, will then be repeated onto you." It might have sounded nice, if one assumed she was going to remain a female to return the favor. Maybe she'd sent one of her followers, instead. Perhaps this one liked men, too. Hard to determine. But being topped, demeaned, was never on the list of things to do for proper rogue men.

"Should you panic, and refuse, you will never lay a lioness again." A pointed look towards his prized possessions.

"Or, you could simply keep your mouth shut." What was worth more to him, his delightful games or his pride? Both brows raised at him, and her tail swayed momentarily. Being a goddess had its perks.
PostPosted: Sat Jan 05, 2013 11:53 pm

"Repeated onto... ugh." Samedi wrinkled his nose, his mind firmly knocked out of orbit. He wasn't a fool - what he wanted to do, visited on him? Sure, some of it might be nice. More than nice. But the main attraction... that didn't sound fun at all. Maybe if he was a girl, but he was certainly not.

He scowled for a moment. What kind of shitty deal was this?

... and besides, how did this girl think she'd accomplish that side of the pact, anyways? He could, after all, just disappear (like gods are want to do) in the event that circumstances took an... awkward... turn. And he rather doubted her ability to geld him, besides.

She wouldn't be the first to try. His grin returned, if a little less sure than before.

And the other possibility - keeping his mouth shut. That was likely. Not.

However... there was something about the calm, confident way she delivered her terms that made him uneasy. His mind began spinning on a new path, slowly regaining equilibrium.

"I don't really favor your terms, darling." Samedi said. He took his turn to inspect her, walking in a slow, sauntering circle. She was beautiful, he had to admit. And he did want her. He could feel his heartbeat quicken at the thought. "Although, I admit, I'm curious to know how you plan on following through on all your threats."

"Besides," He continued, "It seems a little unfair. You get me, and my obedience, in one way or another." He arched a brow at her. "And on the other side, I get you, and a nasty clause attached to the contract." The big lion flicked his tail. "If we're negotiating, I have my own deal to offer."

He looked her in the eyes (and such lovely eyes they were!). "I'll stay mostly quiet. BUT. You, my dear, must stay with me for a week." For a brief moment, Samedi wondered if that was a good idea - maybe she was awful in bed? One look at her and he dismissed that fear. "If you leave before your week is up, don't think I won't find you. And I'll sing while you make up for all that lost time."

"Stunning," she deadpanned, as he quickly refused her deal. Not completely run by his hind end, just mostly.

As he circled, not a sway of discomfort crossed her face. Uuni's eyes boredly studied the bark of a tree, letting him take in every inch of her. There was no harm in looking; he could look all he pleased. In fact, he delighted in his apparent intoxication from looking at her.

"Don't run out of breath, now." Uuni's grin was large as he began to go through the terms of his own deals. Technically, blood magic wasn't a negotiable sort of thing. Then, technically, he'd refused what she'd offered.

"Three days," she decided. "Anymore, and you'd die from exhaustion."

There was no way in all the hells, heavens, and reincarnations combined that she was going to tolerate him for one week. Even this agreement was going to be pushing it.

"And if you say the word 'love', I am still gelding you." She had no actual intention of castrating him, for that meant lots of blood and a violence she did not possess. The magic, indeed, would not take care of it for her in this case, but she could make a decent liar when she wanted. Besides, it would be just like a mortal to fall in love with her in three days. Just like.

Three days. Three days. Three days. Samedi pretended to consider the offer, sucking on his teeth in supposed thought. In reality, he was more than a little pleased - he'd gotten away from those... ah, disturbing... threats she'd made, and back onto solid ground. Points to him, even if the game was far from over! There was still the 'being quiet' thing, but he wasn't too concerned. After all, he wasn't really here for talk anyways.

Although he did enjoy a verbal duel once in a while.

He let her comment on endurance pass without remark. Samedi had found, in his long years, that actions often proved what words fell short of doing. He let that lazy smile play across his features. She'll learn.

But that little quip about love? Ha! He couldn't let that one slide.

"Love?" Samedi laughed, his voice rich with true amusement. "Don't worry, darling. Love isn't real. It's a tool, and I can already see it won't work for me here."

It was a tool he'd used more than once, to lure a pretty young thing out into a soft, starry night. Samedi couldn't understand why they were always so surprised when he left. The big male eyed Uuni. Someone must have played that card on her, to ruin it. Too bad.

But he was pretty sure he could find something that would work for him. In fact, Samedi thought he might already have the right tool.

"So. Three days." He mused with mock solemnity. A smirk still pulled at the corners of his mouth. "My place, or yours?"

Samedi was correct, in his own delighful way. Rather, it was that Uuni had played the love card before, when she was young and stupid. After she found out what clawing, insane creatures a sex-drive and the word "forever" made mortals, the goddess had quickly put a halt in that.

Not that she'd be telling this mortal about any of that. For all she knew, he'd pull a Roka and flip over his tail-end that a goddess was in his presence. There was also the danger that he was like the Nergui, and while Uuni was a fast teleporter, he was much too close. The likelihood of him sinking his teeth and claws in before she got out was far too discomforting to push.

No, she would be spending three days as a mortal, stuck with a mortal. It was the kind of thing she did once in a blue moon, usually while tricking and making good use of blood magic and deals. Perhaps the bitter coincidence of the statement was that a blue moon was not an infrequent occurrence for a goddess. He had damn well better make it worth her while.

Wait. Her place?

Uuni stared at him. The mortal's nose wrinkled up and she squinted. No one could have looked more unimpressed than she did in that moment.

The insult and his audacity carried over in her tone, "Yours."

Perhaps an unusual thing to say for a mortal female. Most invited strange suitors back to their homes, in hopes that it would give them safety. Most lived to realize they were wrong.

"I'm waiting, big man. Let's see this kingdom fit for a prince." No, he had said nothing to elude to the fact his world might be as such. However, if his mortal ego was as swollen as the rest of him, then he was bound to have some haughty ideals about his own whereabouts. Let him feel superior for a while.

When she left after three days, it wouldn't be his house he was thinking about.

Ronove
(( So, neither of them should discover they are not mortals, I think. That would be awesome. ))

The smirk faltered a little at her tone, due more to confusion than any hurt feelings (in truth, 'feelings' weren't something the God of the Undead invested much thought into with any regularity). Why'd she say it like that? It was, after all, the next logical step. You found the girl, then you found a soft spot to occupy for the next few hours. Unless Uuni wanted to stay out here, in the open, where everyone and their mother could watch.

Not that he would really mind. The watching, that is. In fact, it might be fun. But females, in his general experience, didn't tend to go for that kind of fun.

Well, she IS still a girl, old boy. Samedi eyed Uuni, the smirk restored. Oh yes, she certainly is. And all the gods and mortals know they can't be understood.

His smirk became a grin. Prince, eh? He could do that. And, conveniently, he did have a den around here. A reasonably nice once. It was a good thing, too - he certainly couldn't bring her back to the God's Haven. That was one big part of him that he would keep to himself.

"This way, princess." The big lion ducked his head and swept one paw out in front of him in a mocking bow. "If my lady will just follow me..."

It was a lot easier to just teleport. Hopefully he could remember how to get there on foot...

Kaelyndra
I like how you quoted me as "Ronove". Lol. and yes, I think they'll part ways both thinking they're mortal. Harhar! I can only imagine Uuni's reaction when godlings pop out.

They were going to have to talk about their 'not-talking' agreement. So far, he was doing a rather crap job of it.

When his head was turned from her, and he had begun to walk towards the supposed den, Uuni released the tension with a full roll of her eyes. If she could hold on long enough to get to somewhere private, the rest would be easy.

This was going to be a long three days.
