[backdate rp] Makoto had, against TK's will, dragged the poor skeleton out into the snow after a few days of watching it from inside like a dazed kid that wasn't whether flaming meteors or bundles of joy were falling from the sky.
And thus began to act like a stupid little dog by jumping into a pile of nearby snow and dragging TK with him into the freezing cold.

"TK! TK, look, maybe I could bury a body in here!"
.... Makoto, your priorities are skewed.

The skeleton could only thank Makoto for having the decency to drag him out into snow rather than fire. The inugami of all people would know TK did not mix well with heat and fire. TK hardly seemed fazed as he walked through the snow in his regular clothes. Being undead had its benefits, he supposed.
He amusedly followed after Makoto as the demon blazed ahead, but he let out a startled yelp as the dog dragged him into the snow with him. Slowly, TK lifted his head, which now held a pile of white. He narrowed his eyes slightly as he threw Makoto an unimpressed look. “Do tell me why you would want to bury a body in here.” Sighing, TK finally rose from the sea of white and began to brush the powder off his clothes and head. “You seem so fascinated by the snow. Admittedly, the sight is amusing.”

Makoto rumbled, his tail sweeping out over the snow and knocking small rifts of it back and forth. His body shuddered, unused to the cold, and after a moment, he made himself pop back up onto his feet, shaking himself out like a dog. Snow went flying everywhere, some even managing to hit TK in the face. He wasn't at all bothered by the others demeanor. If anything, it somehow offset the normal level of craziness Makoto exhibited when left to his own devices for too long. That was to say, the craziness that often left people crippled or temporarily broken, whether of the mind or the body... well, that was up to Makoto's mood of the day.
"Because I imagine it would be a fascinating way to preserve it." He scuffed the white fluff with his foot in mild interest. "I guess I could bury you here instead. You are after all, technically dead already." His lips turned up into a benign smile, and he leaned on TK lazily. "I am fascinated by simple things. Like you."

He smirked secretly as he watched Makoto shudder from the cold. Yes, being a skeleton had its advantages sometimes. Then again, it was because he was a skeleton he could withstand all of the abuse Makoto lovingly gave him every day when they were back home. Perhaps it was fortunate the flung snow covered his face, effectively wiping the smile from TK’s lips as the white slid down his stiffly polite face.
“If it was a human body, perhaps. Halloween creatures have no need to preserve the body,” he gently reminded the other boil. Narrowed eyes stared at the inugami as he suggested to bury him. TK turned his head away as he sighed heavily. “If you really want to bury me, I suppose I do not mind it.” Another sigh as he reached up to scratch the back of Makoto’s ears while he leaned against the undead. It wasn’t like before his slender fingers were playing with the dog’s hair. “Really, you are such a handful sometimes. How do the servants put up with you?”

Makoto glanced at TK, his tail nearly completely white from the snowfall. His sleeves seemed nearly like red streaks of blood against the backdrop, and he grinned at the undead with a devious sort of glint in his eye. "You ruin all of the fun. Wouldn't it be a fascinating way to die; being frozen to death, being buried alive?" To others, it might sound like such a morbid sort of conversation topic - to Makoto, it was just the sort of thing he might say over afternoon tea.
Sighing at the scratch, Makoto glanced at TK. "I imagine that they have no other choice." He responded at length, exhaling and watching his breath turn to fog in the air. "Aaah, I am sure they're happy to be rid of me for now though." And then, without preamble, the Inugami fell over onto the snow --- dragging TK right along with him.

“Oh yes,” he replied in a monotone, “starving to death is far too simple and boring. It would be much better to freeze to death or be buried alive. I absolutely concur.” Narrowed eyes bore into the inugami’s. This was the sort of talk TK was accustomed to, and yet it never ceased to evoke some sort of reaction out of him.
“Actually, I must agree with you. I am sure the other servants are relieved to have one less nuisance to deal with.” His lips twisted into a wry smile. “Too bad you are making me deal with you all on my own. I wonder how I will cope.” His eyes grew wide as he felt himself fall forward. TK squished his eyes shut as he toppled into the snow with Makoto. Sighing, he sat up until he leaned over Makoto, his forehead pressed to his. “You really are a handful,” he whispered before he pressed his lips over Makoto’s.

"It is too simple and boring!" Makoto protested loudly, scowling into the cold air as his breath fogged in front of his lips. "If one is to die, they might at least die in an interesting enough way. It is a bore otherwise." He sighed out, his ears flicking back. "But I digress, for you I would rather not see to a death at all. Which seems almost a moot point, considering your status as someone already past death itself."
The snow hitting his back was cold, but the fur lining one side of his kimono and the long, thick robes that covered them were enough to keep him appeased for the time being. He glanced up at TK with a low growl of pleasure, his ears flicking forward against the dark red of his hair. "However will you cope indeed. Though I imagine the servants will now have their hands full with my brothers instead." The Inugami closed his eyes. "Ah, but it would have been far more pleasurable and pleasant for you if one of them had come instead, I imagine." His eyes slid open again when he felt the touch of TK's forehead against his, watching him with a strange fondness that seemed almost out of place.
The Inugami rumbled, pressing his lips against TK's slowly, savoring the taste and touch and closeness of the boy's body to his. His arms circled the skeleton lazily, and sighing, Makoto broke the kiss to nuzzle his way up TK's jawline, burying his nose and mouth into the base of his partners collar instead. "I know." He rumbled. "Whatever will you do with me, I wonder."
And perhaps to TK, if he listened close enough, it almost sounded like an apology.Syusaki how did this happen i'm srry

TK shot Makoto a dry look. He assumed that a gashadokuro’s origin held little interest to him. Likely, the demon found it too boring to know that such skeletons—whether or not they really had ‘died’ in the human world—were born with a sharp hunger. A hunger that tore everyone from the inside out, drove them screaming mad, and the pain would never go away. It only dulled. Sometimes he would forget how crazy the inugami was, but it was comments like these that reminded him that his young master was not like others. “I guess that is supposed to make me happy?”
“I am sure I will figure something out eventually,” he murmured absentmindedly as he leaned further forward, if that was possible at all. His breath was surprisingly warm when he sighed, “Truthfully, I do not care who from home decides to enroll in this school. I wish only to seek out truths I cannot find back home. Whoever wishes to join me is more than welcome to.”
He didn’t like warmth, but Makoto’s warm lips against his would always be welcomed. Eyes closed as he rested his chin on top of Makoto’s while he buried his face into his collar. “Wonder, indeed,” he agreed, a hand reaching up tentatively to run through the inugami’s long hair. “But happiness always comes with a little bit of trouble, does it not?”
