I am going to try to get into shape which for me requires getting up early. Cause I wont walk or run or any exercise on my own after about 9:00 in the morning along with this I'm going to eat better. I try to eat well anyways but that's besides the point. the thing is i have no motivation to wake up in the mornings. so we will see how this goes. I would love some tips on what to eat other than the usual watch the calories or sugar or whatever it is. I want to eat healthy. I'm not going on a diet. my goal here isn't to lose weight its to get into shape. All tho I wouldn't mind losing a few pounds. So exercise will be a key part in this of course. I'm not to good with that I wouldn't mind suggestions with that ether. Oh and any one have any ideas for a motivation to wake up??? That would be great thanks biggrin

if you snack on say, baby carrots and grapes (for example) throughout the day instead of having 3 meals, you won't eat as much. good weight-loss tip, and it helps with eating healthier cat_wink

Kitalpha Hart if you snack on say, baby carrots and grapes (for example) throughout the day instead of having 3 meals, you won't eat as much. good weight-loss tip, and it helps with eating healthier cat_wink well I don't eat much anyways when I eat so I don't think eating less is the solution to losing weight. My main goal is to get into shape.

My mom signe me up for ten years, of which the last four I told her to stop. She only stopped cuz my sister yelled at her. yikes I love dance its so much fun. Some people were made for it and some weren't. I have been in dance for about 11 years. its a good way to exercise and make friends.

So I slightly failed at waking up again today i stayed up way to late lastnight. Tonight I need to go to bed before 4 in the morning that might help.

Try putting an alarm clock under your pillow, or if you have a cell phone then set an alarm for when you want to wake up and put that under your pillow. (I recommend the cell phone because if its like mine, then there are multiple rings you can use. I try to cycle the rings so my ears don't get used to the sounds.) mrgreen

Pick a ststion you like, and if you chose a good radio station, then you wake up to something different every day. That's how I've been waking up for years (and with the same alarm clock, no less). It's gotten to the point where I wake up before my alarm goes off...every day, even I don't have school, and therefore am alarm set.

Thank's for the tips. I don't think I want to wake up with it ringing in my ear so. I will put an alarm on my computer so it will wake me up. Preferably one with music biggrin
