First things, first...
Male, duh
I don't know, I've never kept track. I'm a couple years younger than Sephyra, if that helps. We appear to be the same age though, or relatively close.
Six feet and seven inches.
Let's keep this short...
I don't know much about my early years. Something tells me that I wouldn't want to. Though she is only a couple years older than I, Sephyra raised me. She's told me bits and pieces of how that happened. She'd been out by the river when she found me. After managing to calm me down, she went back to our town. It lay in ruins. Sand covered the remains of the structures and bodies lay strewn across the land. There had been a massacre; someone had gone on a brutal killing spree. I don't know how I got away, only that I did. How else could I be here now?
For the first year or so after that I couldn't stay in any form, except my tiger one, for extending periods of time. My earliest memories are of our island. It was a wonderful place. Beautiful. Serene. A few years later people started to find themselves upon our island. With Sephyra's permission, they were allowed to stay. Shortly after these people started to appear we erected a barrier. Both of us knew how dangerous the world outside our haven could be; we didn't want that here.
By my twentieth year we began venturing back into the outside world. It was constantly changing and our curiosity had won out. The duration of our stays varied. Sometimes we would remain for several years, other times for only a few days. It all depended upon whether or not something caught our interest. The longest we ever stayed was five years. We were never fond of leaving the island for too long after all. By this point we had trained and appointed others to maintain the barrier in our absence though.
We had an...incident on the island once; it happened about two thousand years ago. Someone had allowed a demon into our safe haven while Sephyra and I were gone. He was also dealt with before our return, though not in the best way. The boy was a mere child and using spells he had known nothing about. Our return was after his transformation, after the final unnatural death and after he had disappeared as well. We strengthened and renewed the barrier. The next several years were spent returning peace to our home.
Two decades passed, then three...I think a full century had gone by before we departed again. By then the people had all but forgotten about the demon. Seph made sure to keep any spells that might lead to another incident far away from them as well. Nothing like that has happened since and Sephyra and I began our journeys once more. Our latest found us back in our home area, Egypt. The city where are parents lived has already been buried under the sands, but some familiar things remain, like the Nile.
A short while later, short being a relative term, Seph and I each received an invitation to a place called 'Trinity Castle.' I can't deny the curiosity I felt after reading the letter...or at the thought that these people had managed to find us. I was pretty eager to check it out but Seph took a little convincing. It's not often that we get the chance to experience something new, an this is pretty new to us. Seven weeks later, we had arrived at the castle's front doors.
My mind works a little like this...
I am more laid back than my sister. I love to joke around and have fun. I've never been much good at things like pranks, but if there's a game you want to try I'm your guy. I'm nice most of the time...though I can't ever remember being cruel. I'm not the easiest person to anger but that doesn't mean I don't get ticked off sometimes. Sephyra is usually there to calm me down though. I'm very protective of my sister by the way. If you hurt her I'll hurt you, understand? Good.
(Note: If he ever gets too angry his 'true' self will emerge and wreak havoc until he is sealed away again.)
I think I'm missing something...
I can change my form at will. It may also change if I am under extreme emotional duress though. I am most comfortable in my tiger form.
I possess control over darkness, shadows and fire. It feels like I am forgetting something though....
(When his 'true' self awakens Kovu's control over these abilities is complete and he can also control the weather. The last is an ability that lays dormant otherwise.)
Do I have a pet?
No, not yet. Perhaps soon though, once I find someone who amuses me.
