Ryo Aokawa hails from the Aokawa clan, along with his brother, Ryu Aokawa. Ryo and Ryu always had this rivalry going between them ever since they entered the academy. Even though both were energetic, Ryo seemed to be generally happy all the time as an kid. He has an outgoing and energetic personality. Ryo is genuinely compassionate and empathetic towards others, promising to bring flowers, or soothing others when they become upset. Their goal was to become an excellent shinobi and protect the Hidden Mist from harm's way. Over the years, Ryu was distant from Ryo. The boy slaughtered their parents. In addition, he challenged his brother to a fight to the death. He was different. What happened to the brother he always had. His eyes were cold. They held no sympathy. It seems that there was no turning back either. Raindrops fell upon the surface, much like angels falling from the heavens. Both opponents goals countering. The two boys had darkness befall their facial. Ryo expelled anger towards his brother. He was fed up with his actions and intended to reason with him. Ryu took no for an answer. He pointed his blade at him. Ryo couldn't believe it. Of all people, he would have to face his brother. The emotion of sadness and confusion lingered through his mind. Ryu was serious. He had this killing intent the boasted him to attempt in killing his own brother. Who will win? The answer to that question was closer than you had imagined. Both swords clashed. The differing forces deemed to be equal. This lead into later clashes. What was the outcome? There was an continous clash of blades that expelled numerous sparks from the force placed upon the swings. Ryo brought forth his blade. Once he swung, the boy came to find nothing. Where was he? Before the boy could react, Ryu appeared directly behind him. The boy turned around. Ryo was strucken down by the diagonal slash of the blade, in which lead to an scatter of blood. Ryo fell to his knees. His wounded body met the surface. Ryu was the victor. There was sudden attack on the Aokawa. The clansmen were in a pursuit to counter the situation. The flames of anguish interfered his escape. Ryo was barely standing. His body was quivering. How could this have happened?! He navigated through the burning clan. A masked boy in a cloak was standing in front of him. He held out a hand. A flash on his eye revealed a resemblance to Ryu. Ryo took a step forward, but a pile of fiery wood fell in front of his path. Who was that? There was no time to think. Clutching his wound, he had to find safety. The clan was in havoc and mayhem. The boy managed to escape. The Aokawa clansmen were already putting out the fires with water ninjutsu. Flames were dimming, later vanishing into ashes. The clan was destroyed that night. All of the clansmen were devastated. Who were the terrorists that commited this crime? The whereabouts are unknown. Some members of the Aokawa Clan sought refuge into other neighboring villages while others remained in the Hidden Mist. Ryo had lived alone for all these years. xxx Five years later in his storyline, the clan remained under construction. Ryo has grown older. He especially became mature over the years as well. What happened five years ago slowly slipped away. He had to move on and look forward. The past can't keep him from walking the path of the shinobi. His life has started a fresh new start. This all begins as a opening of his door to the outside world. The boy had just became an genin. That fresh new start had begun. Ryo stood outside, admiring the beautiful day. This was a good time to train. Thus, he ventured to the Training Grounds. That way he learned many exotic ninjutsu to benefit his current skill. In the Hidden Mist Village stood an strange phenomena. There was black colored mist that alerted the civilians in the surrounding villages. Some genin and chuunin sought out to investigate. Ryo didn't hear of this until the Akatsuki had made an appearance. He ventured to the scene, though being extremely late. It seemed that the situation was already handled by the Kage and the Akatsuki had fled. He then helped escort the genin back to the village, except Pyro, in which was captured. There was an timeskip that took place three months after. The Chuunin Exams was announced. It was said to come very soon. Ryo attended, though didn't appear. He felt that he wasn't ready to attend just yet. Probably next year will be his chance. He heard that the Four Tails, Son-goku, had raged during the event. The Akatsuki had made an appearance according to the newspaper he read. It seems that they had made a move as well. All because of the money that the Four Great Nations hadn't offered. If only he was there, Ryo could probably help evacuate the villagers. This was an disaster. Pyro had returned to the Leaf, escorted by Jounin that infiltrated the Akatsuki Hideout. Ryo had ventured to Hokage Office to meet her for the first time. She had an atmosphere foreign to him. The female had made a lecture of her past endeavors only to be counteracted by Oda-sama. Ryo had asked for a mission, interrupting their feud. Oda offered him an mission that suited his needs. Pyro had left. Ryo left as well for his mission. Upon completing the mission, he dragged the band of thieves back to the mansion. Mrs. Oda was proud of his accomplished. She handed him the money, though asking him of a favor. It seemed that she was worried about Pyro. Oda wanted Ryo to be a friend to her, or even an brother. The genin nodded in understanding. He should at least make her happy. Her past must of had an great impact on her. The genin made his departure from the mansion to search for Pyro. They met in the cemetery. Ryo acted friendly towards her, eventhough she neglected him. Mizukami was said to be the Legendary Eledia of Water, being able to absorb nearby water and convert it into chakra for the wielder. This being said, it's obvious that its short coming is its lack of water absorbing ability in dry, arid climates such as a desert, but the wielder can store vast amounts of water in the blade without converting it to chakra for survival purposes (drinking water supply). Mizukami is also said to be able to purify any tainted body of water and make it able to sustain life. Also, while many doubt it will evolve further, all Eledia weapons are said to be as limitless in growth as the person carrying it. So as long as Ryo continues to train and get stronger, so will his sword.

Puppet Appearance Descriptionxxxxxxxxx Tonou's aerial puppet. It resembles a three-eyed traditional phoenix with three sharp peaks for a mouth, three-spiked maroon hairstyle protruding from the top of its head, and framing the sides. Ju Jak does not really resemble a peacock. The design resembles the mythological birds of Feudal China, the phoenix. It appears to have enough room for mobility. The puppet is Tonou's eyes in the sky. It apparently has some kind of recording and monitoring device built in within it's eyes. It allows its owner to monitor the surrounding area from above.

When the fighting is finished, it slides each remaining katana back into the many sheaths. Its body is entirely made of extremely hardened wood. That way it wouldn't break easy. The puppet is very skilled at taijutsu as well as kenjutsu. The mouth of the puppet carries senbon that would launch at remarkable speed. Its clothing are rags and distorted in appearence, but the clothing directly resembles an Asura.

xxx He had finally graduated from the academy. Then, obtained head protector and embarked on missions. He sparred with Shinto Uchiha. There an Chuunin Exams soon. He advanced to train vigorously for a matter of three months for the Chunnin Exams. The previous Raikage had died sadly during the timeskip. After the Chunnin Exams, there was new Raikage nominated. Her name was Takiko Yuu. Ikazu tends to call her "Rai-Yuu-Sama" instead acknowledging her by the usual honorifics. They were to report in the Training Grounds. Ikazu proceeded. There he was accompanied by other genin. He came see some familiar faces, some new. He was not that happy about it either. Training was his main focus. His focus was unintended. Yuu-sama had announced an sparring match to later occur. Raiken was interested. Now he could at least knock some heads around. His lack of control almost lead to the infliction of his fellow teammate. Of course, he didn't listen. Also gotten hurt from the jounin that prevented the accident along with Hyuuga. Yuu-sama announced an team vs team mission. It was to retrieve a honey badger and return it to the owner. Raiken had screwed up big time. His reckless antics had ruined the mission and put many people in danger. Next, they were invited to the Yakiniku BBQ for an feast. Raiken gouged the food to comical levels. The meal was good. His fellow comrade, Midoriko, had reminded him of his actions during the mission. Ikazu was suddenly saddened. If he only would of been much more careful, the mission would of probably go forth. What an bummer. All that food seemed to taste bad just because of his failure. Guess it was time to make a fresh start, hm? It was time learn from his mistakes and perform much better next time.
