Two Leaf genin entered Kumogakure through the valley gate. As soon as they were through the gate the two young shinobi were almost immediately questioned. "State your business!" The cloud guard ordered. "We're delivering a message from lord Hokage to the Raikage" Misaki answered a little perturbed at being interrogated. "He wishes to reestablish communication between our villages." She added. Misaki then glanced at Natsu who had been carrying the scroll containing the message. She expected that the guard would not allow them to pass without some sort of proof that what she said was the truth.

The genin presented the scroll that contained the Hokage's wishes for communication and peace between the Leaf and Cloud. The man grasped the scroll into his palm and began examining it carefully. As proof, the scroll had Kage-sama's signature. ''Hm. I see. You may pass.'' The tall man moved aside from their path into the village. ''Alright. Let's get to the Raikage right away.'' Natsu stepped into the village, walking towards the mansion.

Misaki waited as Natsu handed the scroll to the guard for inspection. Her eyes watched him intently as he examined it, daring him to argue against it's legitimacy. When at last the guard handed back the scroll and allowed them through the gate, she gave a short lived grin of triumph. Something about being treated with hostility, even for a good reason, always rubbed Misaki the wrong way. Had the kunoichi not been so intent upon finishing the mission so they could head home, she might have given the guard a piece of her mind. However, as the long days journey seemed to finally instil itself within her worn out limbs, Misaki wished only for sleep and to be rid of their delivery.
As the genin made their way toward the Raikage's office, the Inuzuka couldn't help but look around at the strange village. It was so incredibly different from Konoha. The entire village was made up of buildings put atop small and large precipices. In most places you walked along wood platforms or wire bridges, but in the places where the ground was level enough you walked on hard stone. Clouds danced around their ankles and kissed their noses as they made their way toward the center of the village. As the veil of cottony white thinned before them, a building that towered above the rest came into view. On the front of the building was a large yellow lightning symbol. "That's it!" She said as they headed toward the monstrous building.

With a big grin on her face, Midoriko finally could see the entrance to Kumogakure, the Hidden Cloud Village. "Well Hitofuki, we made it! Let's hope that we can get a lot accomplished while we are here, okay?" As the kunoichi spoke, she looked down to her side. The white tiger cub looked up at her with an inquisitive look in her eyes, then simply mewed in response. Taking smooth but quick strides, Midoriko made her way to the entrance, where the two shinobi posted out front halted her, and then asked for her to state her business.
"I'm here to become a kunoichi of Kumogakure!" The looks upon their faces were that of confusion, but after some questions, she was allowed to pass. Grinning widely, Midoriko looked upon the buildings near the entrance as she made her way towards her destination.The Raikage's office was on the tallest mountain, so she would have to cut through the residential area to get there. "Here's to starting our journey, Hitofuki!" The cub merely trotted alongside her master, remaining silent as her large eyes observed the new surroundings.
"When is a croquet mallet like a billy club? I'll tell you... Whenever you want it to be."

Off in the distance just before the mountain pass a large explosive sound rang out amongst the rocks and trees. A tiny fiery mushroom cloud could be spotted just where the explosion occurred. From this region walked a young looking family returning home after an unexpected visit. Out in front was a beautiful slender woman adorned with the hat of the Raikage upon her head. Close behind followed a very young and silent ravened haired boy and a statuesque pale blond haired man. All three of them were dressed in funeral garb. "Of course it was far too easy," The young woman stated as she moved the hat to cover her infuriated expression. 'That's right Takiko. You've earned some downtime with your beloved family. No missions or interruptions attached.' She stated in a tone mocking the last Raikage. 'Except- Uh oh looks like I decided to die before your vacation was over. That way someone could come shove this hat in your face and say congratulations your vacation is over! You know because I died!' She continued to mock out in frustration while holding her hand up to launch another explosive clay bomb at a nearby tree. However, before the clay was fully ready the blonde haired man had walked up to her and placed a firm yet loving grip on her arm. Without saying a single word he lifted the hat up away from her face revealing streams of tears flowing from her eyes and an expression of despair to match. In truth she had wished that him being dead was only a joke. Not because she did not want the position. Knowing that he passed away so suddenly was eating away at her.
The man pulled Takiko into his arms and removed the Raikage's hat from her head for a moment. She did not need to be Takiko the Raikage. What she needed to be right now was just Takiko. He placed his hand gently upon the top of her head drawing her nearer to him. Takiko buried her face into the ever growing tear stained part of his shirt. All the while, the young boy stayed back and watched everything unfold before him. He did not know what to say. Honestly, he had not know the past Raikage for very long. All he had was the praises that his mother bestowed upon him. "That b*****d... How dare he do something like this... That b*****d..." Softened whispers trailed from her lips. Still remaining in respectful silence, the man looked up at the boy beckoning him to come to his mother's side. The boy obeyed as he made his way over to her side and took most of her hand into his own. The three remained this way in the pass until Takiko could bring herself to continue. Before fully getting to the gate all three of them stopped to ensure that the signs of mourning had completely left Takiko's face and been replaced by solemn reverence.
Once she was fully prepared with the hat back on, she made her way out in front of the other two as they followed side by side. Just outside the gates, on both sides, was a line of Jounin and some Chunin with heads lowered with dejected faces waiting for her return. All of them were also adorned in their funeral garb. Takiko did her best to not meet anyone of them eye to eye as she proceeded past them in a slowed pace manner. She knew her first stop would need to be his... her office to greet anyone that should be there. Things still needed to be taken care of until the time of the actual funeral.

All around various shinobi and villagers silently gawked at Takiko and her husband as they headed towards the village gates at an alarming rate. Whispers spread out wondering what would force the Raikage and her spouse to bolt out so suddenly especially while the Raikage was supposed to be grieving. One of her fellow Jounin tried to catch up with her to ask what was going on, but she pushed past him and made her way out of the gate in the direction of Amegakure. Her husband on the other hand stopped at the front of the exit to await the three Genin that he was told to watch for; moreso the one that he was there to heal. In the middle of the exit is where he would remain. Takiko told him to give the Genin twenty minutes to arrive at this gate and receive instructs or he would restrain them to keep them from leaving the village. Any of them left over would have a 'special' task to perform in order to be put back into her good graces or even be allowed to go on missions.

A fairly large spot of blood was underneath her hand- popping out against the bright white silk. She could see Takiko’s beloved just up ahead- that Takiko… always one step ahead. She paced herself and planted herself beside the raikage’s spouse facing outwardly, away from the village. She stared blankly out into the world beyond the village gates. She was itching… no dying to get to where the action was… to possibly run into her brother and confront him… Still clinging onto her shoulder, all that was around her seemed non existent...

Coming to a stop outside the village gates, Midoriko panted as she caught her breath from using the Cheetah Sprint jutsu. It looked like she had ran right passed Shinto in her rush to get to the gate. After catching her breath, she looked up to see the platinum haired girl from before. She waved, smiling in a friendly manner while Hitofuki began to sniff her once again.
Walking over and then picking up the white tiger cub, Midoriko smiled, and proceeded to introduce herself. "Hello there. Sorry we weren't able to properly introduce ourselves. My name is Midoriko Nekonome, and this is Hitofuki!" As usual, Midoriko was being her bubbly self. Hitofuki yawned out of disinterest, then proceeded to sniff the air about the white haired girl again.

Having stopped by his hideout to pick up a few tools for the mission, Shinto would be the last to arrive. Appearing dashing out of the Kumo entrance he would approach his team and stand between Midori and Yuushiro. "Shinto Uchiha, reporting for duty.", He said in a calm tone of voice as he looked towards the Raikage as well as his teammates. He carefully looked over Yuushiro. Giving her a look that silently asked if she was okay.

A few minutes passed as waited with crossed arms and gentle smile. As much as his wife wanted them to be quick in action he had to admit that it was good that they were taking some time to get here. It showed that they wanted to make sure that they were fully prepared. Honestly, if she had expected them to already be completely ready then she surely would be disappointed. 'Now who was I supposed to be looking for. Hmm Yuushiro, an uchiha boy with the uchiha attitude, and a girl with a cub that needs better clothing. Whatever she meant by that.' He thought with a sigh wishing that his wife would give better descriptions of the other two than her first impression dislikes of them.
At last the first student arrived and as luck would have it would be the very one that he needed to heal up first. "Oi Yuu onii-san, " Kai greeted her with a smile. His hands started to have chakra flow throughout them ready to heal this Genin. "Lets hurry up and get this done. You know how impatient Takiko can be when it comes to getting to big fights." Without waiting for permission, Kai pulled the Genin's shirt away from the injured shoulder. Placing his hand above the spot started analyzing all that was going on with her shoulder. Even if this was just a chip, her brother had done a major number on her. After determining all that needed to be done he started performing everything that needed to be done to completely heal her.
During the time that he was working on her shoulder another female approached them stating who she was and who her partner was. 'Huh so if Yuushiro was here this must have been...' Kai looked the girl over and chuckled a bit. 'The girl who needs better clothing. Now all that leaves is the Uchiha boy with an Uchiha attitude.' Kai just nodded in the girl's direction to let her know that he recognized that she was here and was on time. Soon after his attention returned back to Yuushiro. It had gotten to the point where he was having to mend her bone and keep his complete attention on her.
Once her bone was completely reconstructed and the bone fragments another boy had made his way up to them. He greeted them in a calm fashion that did not befit what his wife had described him as. At last he sealed her shoulder wound up completely as she was completely healed on the inside. Alright time to send these shinobi out before his wife returned in a rage wondering why her Genin were taking so long. Stepping back, Kai made sure he could view all three of them at once. "Alright. Lady Raikage has instructed all of you to go into Amegakure to do what you can do assist the villagers. Under no circumstances are you allowed to go up against an Akatsuki member. If you do prepare to prove your true power lest you lose your life to them or her. Now get going before you're late." That was it. He signaled for them to leave as he tucked his hands into his jacket pockets and walked away from them without another word or sound uttered.

”Mi-do-ri-ko… to (not as in to but like errr… tow or toe) Hitofuki-kun… Eh?... Kawaii yo..” Her tone was flat as she placed her hands on her thighs, getting a better look at the white tiger cub. Shiro… her favorite color. “Nnnn. I’m Yuushiro- Momocchi…” Rotating her head over her shoulder something crawled out from behind her, up and out of the top of her kimono and under her hair. Clinging onto the side of her neck her domestic house bunny peeked at the two strangers. Momocchi had been sleeping where it was warm- cradled in place by Yuushiro’s obi. He was not afraid of the cub- even though in natural selection he would be the one to get eaten. She had forgetten the pain for a moment. Hearing foot steps, the platinum haired female tilted her head to see who it was. Blinking while returning the look she was given to signal that she was okay, the Uchiha and Kaguya seemed to share a telepathic communication line between each other. It wasn’t odd in the slightest… in fact… it was sort of… fun? Slightly thrown in for a loop, she was puzzled when Takiko’s husband closed the gap between them and pulled the sleeve of her kimono off of her shoulder letting it fall back exposing a part of her side, bandaged thoracic region and creamy bare stomach. It took seconds for his motives to register within her mind- right… he was a medical nin not a *****. Yuu was stiff as a board when her bandages were removed. Using her opposite arm she pulled as much of her silk as she could to conceal herself. Yuu squinted- her eyes which watered as Kai operated on her out in the open. Biting the insides of her cheeks she held in her soft squeals of pain and took it like a soldier. Towards the end the pain faded… and she looked down to see that her clavicle was no longer exposed but her shoulder was as good as new. Placing her arm back into her sleeve she adjusted herself. Rolling her shoulder, she stared at her hand. Momocchi scrabbled up resting on top of her head. “Huoh….” Glancing up at Kai, Yuu nodded in approval as if to say thank you….
She was the first one to rush off without giving any word to her departure- her brother could be there and that was all she needed to get her motivated… -Exits

Midoriko smiled lightly as the other seemed to form the words necessary to say her name, and then grinned. "It's a pleasure to meet you, Yuushiro!" When the rabbit poked it's head out, Hitofuki's eyes focused on the creature. Now Midoriko realized why her cub had been so interested in Yuushiro. Shockingly, her white tiger refrained from squirming, trying to get at the creature, and merely yawned. Midoriko looked over to see Shinto had made it, and then began after Yuushiro as they began to head for Amegakure.

Showered and clean, and once more dressed in a very similar (identical actually) outfit as before, the Genin made his way through the village and to the Gates, a light smile on his face, and a book in his hand. He was able to navigate and read at the same time, making it look like he wasn't paying attention to what was going on around him when he was all too aware of it. His family was good at that. He paused and looked up at the Jounin and Chuunin that guarded the entrance as he approached, raising a hand and smiling, his eyes closing in a grin, "Yo. It's cool if I go out for a bit, right?" he paused as the Chuunin looked at him and frowned. "Alone? I don't know... It might not be the best of ideas..." he said, looking to another one of the guards who only shrugged. Getsu waved a hand, closing his book and sliding it into his coat pocket, "Its okay. I won't be gone long, and I'm not gonna go far. Promise." Well, that was probably a partial lie, he honestly didn't know how far he was going to go, or when he would return. The guard sighed, shaking his head and shrugging, "Fine. But be careful and stay out of trouble. We don't want to have to come and rescue your a** because you decided to try something stupid." Getsu smiled, his head tilting as he brought up a hand, his first two fingers extended in a 'V', "No problem. I don't want to end up in any trouble myself. Well, see ya!" he waved at the men and headed out of the gate, his arms coming to cross behind his head as he left the village.
