Personality: Short patience, easily angered, bold, and over aggressive

Biography: Gregory from the time he could walk was brought down into the mines were his father was in charge in district six which was segregated with humans on one side and creatures on another. He was then quickly aware of the hazards of mining. He saw cave ins kill many of the miners some being family such as his uncle witch he saw him die at the young age of eight. When Gregory turned ten he started to begin his career of working in the mines which were his new home and those miners were his extended family. Gregory been working in the minds for now two years was going to experience the most traumatic thing any normal kind would go through. As they mined through the early hours they were informed of a blasting of dynamite. When the dynamite detonated many of miners became trapped from a chain reaction. Once the dynamite exploded it opened a pocket letting large loose rock to plummet down. Gregory now caught down there without a mask with carbon in the air and many miners injured he did the only thing that he could do. He began to mine his way out with miners that were somewhat well, he smashed his pick to break through the wall of stone as inhaled the carbon. As he cleared the wall he loaded the injured miners into a cart and pushed them out without any help since the other well miners ran out like cowards. At the exit of the mine they were surprised to see this kid covered in soot pushing the large cart. After the story began to spread he earned the nickname "Iron Lungs" since he was the only person to survive that much intake of carbon and survive. He became a district hero to the few people who knew him. Gregory continued to work in the mines soon becoming his father's apprentice until a group of vampires and werewolves in the district decided to attack the miners in the cave during the night shift. It was a slaughter they killed tons of the humans blood covered the walls of the mine. Before he knew it dead bodies surrounded him and blood covered his mining suit. He soon found himself the only one left and that the creatures were looking at him like prey. Gregory snapped and let out cry as wielded the pickaxe firmly and ran towards the creatures. They were caught off guard by his reaction, and all of sudden the pick went through one of their faces clearing right through the skull. Gregory now covered in a vampires blood he began to violently kill them with only a pick axe. He killed four of them before they retreated. Gregory then began expecting the dead miners he saw his dead gasping for air as he was bleeding out. His father pointed to his pickaxe and spoke to him telling him to take the pickaxe and that its pick was solid diamond and that the handle was the strongest steel ever forged. He also asked for one favor, that he could be killed by Gregory. Gregory nodded silently as he took the pick axe and swung it down into his father's skull. Gregory looked the mine up and down and loaded the dead up into a mine cart and loaded them into the lift. Once on the surface he was shocked too see many of the villagers were killed as well. Only a few women, men and children had survived. Gregory then looked at the bodies and hand dug each grave himself. After he took care of the dead he took the children old enough to mine and showed them the ropes. A few years past then the Hunger Games were announced. Gregory still young enough to volunteer he willing did he grabbed his pickaxe and a damaged suite case and headed off.
