It is the year 5000 and earth has changed dramatically. Over the years war had polluted the earth and had killed many people. A giant flood had flooded out most of the land and wiped out millions and millions in people. In the ruins of what used to be America is where the people now lived, for it is the only place they can stay, since everywhere else is water. In this new "nation" there are 12 districts. District 1 is the capital, where all the rich lived. Districts 2-6 is the the middle class, 2 being the richest and 6 being the poorest. Districts 7-12 is the lower class, where everyone was poor and worked in factories. The most poor and most dangerous one would be district 11. That was the place with the highest crime rates and lowest life expectancy. Although there were people who worked for a living, many were criminals or prostitutes who would do anything for money.
This is the way life is now in this so called nation. The rich having an excess amount of money, when the poor has nothing. If anyone tried to change this system, their existence would be wiped off and they would be tortured, then they would either be jailed or be killed. Around 20 years ago there was a resistance where a couple tried to be like robin hood and tried to break the system, but they failed to do so, causing they to disappear. Their daughter, now 21 has been living with either family or friends who pitied her, ever since the couple disappeared. No one had ever told her what happened to her parents, the only thing she knew was that they were gone and was never coming back.
One day this girl meets a mysterious man who handed her an envelop of money, to support her traveling, since crossing districts costs money, and files telling of what happened to her parents. The man told her to finish off what her parents had started then he disappeared. From that moment the girl knew that this was what she had to do. She is now searching for people to help her in this quest to restore peace to the people. She ends up finding different people in different places, totally with 6 people. As the 6 people spend more time together traveling and planning they slowly begin to have feelings for one another.

⒈ Follow the Gaia TOS because I really dont feel like getting in trouble for people breaking the rules.
⒉ I do allow cursing but please dont over do it.
3. Add at least a picture and some color to your post. (doesn't have to be much)
4. No god-modding
5. Do not post one liners, you don't have to write like an essay for each post, just write a little more than a few lines, if possible.

Age: 21
Bio: From the age of 1 she has been moving from family to family in the ghetto called district 12. When she was 16, she had finally saved enough money. Since she was always the one taking care of herself, she is very skilled in combat and is quite independent. Her only friend and family as a man 15 years older than her, who taught her how to survive, such as combats skills, how to scam people, how to gamble, and many more, but when she was 19 he was killed by the police for resisting arrest. She barely remembers who her parents were, all she knows is that they disappeared when she was young. The only thing she has of them is a locket with her parents picture in it, her father's watch and gun, and her parent's wedding rings. She had tried many times to ask of what happened to her parents, but no one ever told her the truth. After a few years of asking she finally gave up, for she knew that the people who actually knew about it would never tell her.
Annabelle now works as a waitress and a fighter/scammer taking the rich's money, for they sometimes traveled here to get girls. She also took money from the banks that were owned by selfish rich people from the capital. One day a man went up to her after her job as a waitress and handed her a manilla envelop. Inside she found the story of what really happened to her parents and a lot of cash. The man told her to finish what her parents started and disappeared. Due to the fact that she hated the rich and the government she agreed and now she is recruiting people to join her forces to go against the government.
Personality: Because Annabelle has never experienced real love or a real family, she tends to be cold to people. She doesn't trust people so easily, for the one person she trusted ended up being taken away from her, so she never lets anyone in. Annabelle can be violent at times when needed, for it was a way of survival. Bio:He was born in the the 11 district it didn't take him long until he learn how to fight as everyday he had to either run or fight someone just to live. His parents died when he was 12 since then he stole money and had to live in a abounded house. His other family members didn't even admit they were related just so they wouldn't get custody over him. He hated all of them and when they were murder he didn't care at all and just lived in their home or somewhere else not staying long enough to be caught. Through his whole he had never killed anyone but saw many murders and deaths.
Personality: He is very anti-social he despises being with people since everyone he met were either murders or theives and for that same reason he has trust issues. He has a short-temper and normally gets in fights everyday which is why he has bruises all over his body all the time. ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^

Annabelle walked down the streets of district eleven, when she woke up from a 3 hour power nap, after driving all night to get from district 11 to district 12 in a car she stole. looking for the the first person, that she was to recruit. She was wearing a black corset tank top, acid washed ripped blue skinny jeans, brown boots, and a army green cardigan. She may look weak and vulnerable but on her she had two pocket knives and two guns. She had parked her car a block down the street, she was looking for Josue in this area.
As she walked down the streets she took out his profile to review it "Hmmm Josue" she said as she looked at his picture trying to find him through the crowd of people. After a while of walking down she heard someone say his name, or she thought someone did, so that caught her attention. She then heard grunts so she quickly follow the voices down the streets into a dark alley. There she saw nine men beating him up. She sighed remembering that he did get in fights a lot.
With a sigh she went up to the first guy closest to her and she tapped on the man's shoulders. Once he turned around she punched him on the face and knocked him out. Then 4 of the other guys came to attack her and one by one she fell on the floor. That was one of the perks of being from district twelve, she was a very talented fighter. When all the men were on the floor groaning in pain she went over to Josue. "Hey are you okay? You're bleeding... My name is Annabelle but you can call me Anna or Ann... do you have somewhere where we can talk more....privately I have something to tell you and its confidential" she said to him as she took out a napkin and she gently wiped his blood.

He was breathing hard as he was bleeding he heard a girl and sighed as he looked at her he had to admit she was beautiful.
"Yeah I'm alright I have gotten hurt worse.....before I go anywhere I must know what you want with me I'm not going anywhere with a complete stranger" asked Josue since he wasn't going to go with her even if she had just helped him but he wasn't going to admit it he got helped by a girl.

Annabelle looked at him and nodded then she looked around watching the men walk away giving them a little growl as a joke as they ran down the alley. "I'm here to recruit you for the resistance, its to go against the government. Those tyrants have ruled long enough, its time for there to be a change. Look at this place, its worse in district twelve. Violence, deaths, murders, this isn't how we're supposed to live, while the people in the capital are living lavish lives. We barely have enough food or money here... I'll tell you more about it when we're alone now pleasure can we please go somewhere more private?" she said as she got up.
When she got up she took off her cardigan for it was quite hot and bent down to wipe the last of the blood from his wound "You really need to stop fighting as much" she said. She then began to walk out of the alley "C'mon we're not getting any younger" she said as she flipped her hair off her shoulders to fix it, since it got a bit messy when she fought against those men from earlier.

He heard and knew she was right about the first part about the government but he doubt district 12 was worse since some people were cannibals here. "Oh okay I guess I can go" said Josue.
He looked at her as she had wiped all of his blood as he heard her tell him to stop fighting he just snickered and followed her out of the ally. As he check the streets trying to see if he saw anyone with a gun and seeing someone he grabbed Annabelle's hand and pulled her back in the ally. "Shhh just follow me that street isn't safe" said Josue as he pulled her again so she would follow and then let go as he heard bullet shots he hurried a little.
After a while of walking he checked the street again as nodded his head at her to signify it was safe. "Okay now you could go where we were going before" said Josue as he looked at her waiting for her to go.

Annabelle looked at him and sighed she would usually just walk without a care in the world. The streets in district twelve were far more dangerous. "Okay" she said as she led him to her car. "Get it the passenger seat" she said and once she was in she began to drive. "Where do you live? We can talk there and you can get your stuff too" she said as she drove down the streets.

She was lucky that no one had done anything to the car especially since it was a nice car. "I have no permanent home and no stuff either I just steal all my stuff....don't judge me I do what I need to do to survive" said Josue expecting her to actually judge him.
"The rest of you districts have it better than mines someone dies everyday and so many times that they can't pick up all of them that you could smell corpses" said Josue as he wished he had lived in any district expect his even if it was only a little better.

Annabelle looked at him "Which district do you think I'm from? I'm from district twelve the worst district of all and its a given fact. We're the poorest district, the one with the highest crime rates, and most murders. I stole this car form some idiot from the capital who was there to find a prostitute." she said as she drove down the streets. The people looked at them for it was rare to find a car here, especially one that fairly decent "Look I don't judge you for stealing I do it too, hell everybody does it, it's the way to survive here. I steal, but I steal from the people who don't deserve what they have" she said to him
After a while of driving they were at the border, where there were the least amount of people. "So do you have any question about the resistance?" she asked "There are risks like losing your life and maybe even people you care about, but it'll be worth it if we succeed think of how much better life would be if we had a better government" she said to him,

Josue looked at her as snickered again as he found the chair was comfortable that he wanted to go to sleep on it but knew if he did he would probably be dead. "That's cause the authority here sucks so much that every 5 person who dies they only write one of those down" said Josue. "And no one here has much money and leaving this district isn't allowed that is if you were born here"
"I have no question about it as long as it doesn't make things worse I'll be fine....risks?...life here is pretty much a risk itself, i'll die anyways one way or another everyone dies at some point and I care for no one so there isn't much a risk on my part" said Josue as he looked at the girl then sighed. "Well thanks for helping me back their i would have probably been hurt even more than I am if it wasn't for you"

Annabelle sighed "some man gave me money for my travels and you are allowed to leave as long as you pay the men at the borders, cause they think that you're some rich snob" she said to him "Trust me its worse where I'm from the authorities don't care, all they do is take advantage of their powers by getting prostitutes for free and raping innocent people on the streets. She sighed remembering how bad it was back in district 12, people weren't people anymore it was horrible, would people would do for money. "Its really corrupt, and its time for change" she said to him
"There are high risks, yes its dangerous here, but it'll be more dangerous, we'll be fugitives from the law. They will be onto us for us traveling, and we might even be hunted down" she said "Look fighting those men was easy, you don't have to thank me" she said to him "Now are you in or not? If you are tell me now for we have to leave soon, the people here are going to find us and try to take this car"

I see I guess depending on your point view you might think one district is worse since mine had cannibals while yours have rapist" said Josue as he nodded his head he wanted the government to change to as he remembered a book he read about a place called the untied states and how everyone had rights that couldn't be taken away.
"Yeah I'll join but like I said I have nothing to lose one way or another I'll die but hopefully my death would help make the world to be a better place." Josue said as he blushed a little thinking he showed too much emotion in that sentence itself. "So where are we going next" asked Josue.
