Audric groaned as he sat in a airport lobby, waiting for his ride. He had just arrived in Texas, sent here by his mom and dad, and he had to wait for some people to come and pick him up, and take him to his home for the summer. Fun . "Ugh. Where is this... Avery girl, and why is she taking so long?" Audric complained as he closed his eyes, leaning his head back. He was upset that he had to leave the city because of behavior issues. Plus they were going to make him do farm work. "Hell no. No way I'm working on a farm for hillbillies." He mumbled in a low tone.

Audric rolled his eyes, picking up his duffel bag, and slinging it over his shoulder. "You're ridiculous. I wouldn't let you touch my bags in the first place." He said, before looking around at all the country folk staring at him. He knew he looked way different then them, but he was refusing to wear anything but his own clothes. "Anyways... how long is it going to take to get there? I want this summer to go by fast as quick so I can leave already." Audric mumbled bitterly, following Avery out of the airport with his hands stuck in his pockets, and his head held high as he looked at all of the towns folk. His parents told him he was in a small town, so he had to not make himself apparent. Rumors spread fast in small towns like this,

Audric scoffed, and watched as she skipped away from the car. He sat there for a few minutes, waiting until she was gone, before he hopped out with his duffel bag and made his way towards the farm, making his way past it and towards the house he saw her go into. "Thanks for leaving me in the truck. You act like I know where to go." Audric said annoyed, as his eyes drifted over to the woman who was her mom, and the man who was obviously her dad. He didn't say anything to them. He just leaned against the doorway. Maybe if he pissed them off enough, they would send him back early.

Audric opened his mouth to say something, but he bit his lip, holding it in. He wasn't going to let her get the best of him.He just followed her, went to his room, and shut the door. After about fifteen minutes of unpacking, he got off the bed, opened the door, sand made his way to the living room, and went out the door. He sighed softly, feeling the warmth against his skin,as he made his way down the dirt hills and sat on the dirt. "Maybe I can walk home." He muttered bitterly.

------~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~------------------------------ >> When Avery went downstairs, her dad looked outside and she knew exactly why. A couple years ago, they lost their only son, Avery's older brother. They both were outside playing on the train tracks because there were supposed to be no trains running on those tracks, but guess again. Her older brother, Mason heard a train come and he told Avery to get off the tracks. And as she was walking off the tracks, her foot got stuck under one of the slats on the track. She was freaking out, afraid that she might die. Mason went back and got her but as he threw her off the tracks, he got hit by the train. It was tragic. Avery hasn't been able to go down to those tracks for the last six years. Everytime she heard a train she had to hold in the tears. For years, she had nightmares of her brother dying over and over again. The only reason her father was upset is because we used Mason's room as the guest room for the kids. Avery went up and hugged her dad tight. "It's okay daddy.." He hugged her back and a couple minutes later, her mom asked Avery to go find Audric. Avery went outside and didn't see him, so she walked towards the dirt hills where she sat to think. And there he was. Avery went up and sat next to him, a couple feet away though. "Hey, dinner is done. And it's getting dark so you might to come back with me." << ------~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~------------------------------

Audric lifted a granola bar in the air for her to see as she spoke. "I'm not hungry. I think I'll stay out here for a bit." He mumbled, not really wanting to talk to her. He didn't want to be here. Right after he said that, his stomach growled and roared, and he scoffed, before turning to look away his face red. "Lets just hurry up." He said, before standing up, sticking the granola bar back into his jean pocket and starting to walk away towards the house, slowing down to wait for Avery.

Audric blinked as he entered the house and toke a seat, feeling a bit awkward as he sat there, looking at his food before looking back to to look at Avery nibbling on her food. Yeah, he was hungry but he didn't like to eat in front of people. At home everyone ate in their own room, and he would eat in the dining room by himself. So he wasn't used to family dinners like this.
